I was looking for someone who wanted to wait it out with me who just started clomid. Today was my first day of clomid and I am very excited. My husband and I have been ttc for almost a year. Anyone in the same boat and would like to share this experience together?

I'm on my 3rd clomid day today. This is my 5th clomid cycle. We've been ttc for 3 years. Is this your first cycle with clomid?

Jamie - July 13

Yes it is - 50mg. I am hoping it works...We decided to try this because after charting my BBT's we realized that I am not ovulating.

Hi Jamie. I can be your waiting buddy. I just started my first cycle of Clomid 17 days ago. I'm excited too but nervous at the same time. I'm not sure what to expect. I started to have some bleeding 14 days after taking Clomid. It's now 17 days since taking Clomid and the bleeding hasn't stopped. I'm not sure if it's my period or implantation bleeding. I'll keep you updated though.

Jamie, Hopefully 50 mg clomid will be the secret to your success. Some woman are really effected by the SE, but they don't really bother me much. I do have a few more PMS symptoms before AF...or I'm just aware of AF looming. But for the most part its pretty innoculous for me. I hope the same it true for you.

Today is day two - so far so good. I am hoping this month is it but I am not getting my hopes up. It sounds to me like it usually takes more than one cycle. I was on Provera last week to induce my period and I was quite moody during that time - I am hoping that it doesn't continue with clomid - although I know it is one of the SE.

Jamie - July 15

Day four for me as well - extremely moody - especially yesterday. And hot flashes... all of it is worth it in the end though!!!!

This month was my second round. I also had an HCG shot today and am ordered to have intercourse tomorrow through Monday by the doc. They are hoping that with the Clomid and the HCG shot, that should make it work. I had a vaginal ultrasound today and the doc said I had 3 mature follicles, so he believes this may be the time. We are very excited. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I have noticed my mood on Clomid, though. Man, it wears me out. I am much more emotional than I usually am - just overall, more grumpy....and very senstive to heat. I am hoping that those blah-blah side effects will soon be forgotten when we become pregnant. Good luck with your situation!
