Robyn, it worked for Mega on your IVF thread. She got pregnant right after losing her pregnancy and now she's what like 13 almost 14 weeks right? So here's to you pulling a MEGA!!! LOL!! By the way, I've met her because she's also from Ohio and all the ladies on the Ohio thread met up for lunch a couple of times and she's a very sweet person. I know a little off topic but thought I'd wish you getting a Mega this cycle. LOL!

Katt - March 30

Morning girls! Gonna be another long day, haha... I am meeting my x-bosses for lunch and margarita's and then I have some clothes to return to the store and I need to get a couple more pairs of pants. Man am I putting John and I in the poorhouse with these clothing purchases. I suppose the car and the clothes was the downside to this job change but then again we did need another car and I was going to have to buy new scrubs anyhoo and at $26 a piece (tops and bottoms are separate) and needing 5 days - that's a pretty good load of cash right there! So I guess it is all good, right! LESLIE_ So good to have an active child. I hope my child chooses sports. It is such a great learning experience for them. TANYA_ Hope you and ds are feeling better soon. ROBYN_ Wow 5 weeks... that does seem like a long stretch of time. NICOLEM_ Good luck to you. DId you read my speal about flaxseed and cottage cheese or yogart - I think I posted it. My alt doc says it aids in infertility as it promotes healthy cell division - maybe that's just what the doctor ordered for you too?! GAYLE_ I was supposed to do that spring cleaning thing this week as I was off and knew I could get it done with John at work; but guess what - NOT! LOL I have heard about massage for infertility as well. Many physical therapy and massage parlors here advertise it. Just never tried. KELLEY_ GOP stands for Grand Ole (Old) Party ie Republicans as my intellect comes from being the elephant, lol! I don't guess anyone else answered your question. Probably best: I'd hate to start a war on our thread too. LESLIE_ It's a good feeling to know Joey is right on target isn't it. He sounds like he's moving right along! Pretty soon he will be moving right through your kitchen and drawers and marking the walls, lol jk hate to jynx you but I knopw all children see a bright big canvas when it comes to walls; though I think you have a year or two before you need worry about that ;) ROBYN_ I am so rooting for you a natural conception this cycle. Ya never know (((HUGS))) RHONDA_ I am mailing out your stuff today. I need to shove off and shower for my outing. I will talk to y'all later. HELLOS to Erin, Tanya, Kathy, Christine, Shauna, Heather, Denise, Jen, NicoleB, NicoleM, Jess, Natasha, and JAMIE (are you okay?)!! Luvyas!

ROBYN - March 30

Hey girls, Erin and Katt thanks for the encouragement. Erin I talk with Mega everyday thru emailing and she seems so nice and beyond helpful. Katt she is the one answering all the OPK questions that i have been emailing your stuff to. I hope to pull off a "mega" but I am not expecting that to happen. I start the next IVF cycle in 2 weeks so either way i doesnt matter. AMY - welcome to our thread I am 38 and my Dh is 34 we just recently had to terminate our pregnancy at 14 1/2 weeks we were sucessful on our 1st attempt with IVF and i had no amniotic fluid which was consistent with the baby not developing kidneys. They said its a complete fluke and will never happen again. So that was 6 weeks ago and we start again in 2 weeks. I have an 8 year old son from a previous marriage and my new Dh and I are trying for our 1st together. Welcome to our thread and sorry for your loss. Are you seeking treatment with an RE or just going natural?

na25 - March 30

sorry about my spelling lol ...you can tell that i am emotionally down! I wish i could cry it out...but i have no tears left!

ROBYN - March 30

Natasha thank you. I completely understand since we had to terminate so unexpectedly its been the only thing on my mind i want to be pregnant again. The screwed up thing is Pregnancy Weekly sent me my 20 week pregnancy update I would be 20 weeks already i couldnt believe it so i unsubscribed from that email. They havent been sending me if they were i have been deleting them. But as for your question I beleive you are in the safe period to start testing I would start now if you cant wait if youre on a 37 day cycle i dont think you are too early but hell do one everyday till your period should start. I have no patience some people would tell you to wait i guess it depends on what you want to do.

PoohBear - March 30

Hi ladies. How has everyone been? Sorry Ive been MIA, my FIL had heart problems and has been in the hospital so its been kind of rough on us. You think with all of this he would come around and treat me better but he doesnt. Sometimes I think that if me and dh didnt have Ryne my FIL would be pushing for the big D. Anyways...Amy- Big Welcome. Im 24 and dh is 28. We just had our first on Dec 19th after a year of TTC. Leslie- Wow I cant believe he's four months already. So glad to hear he's doing so good. Ryne goes for his Four month check up in April. I cant wait he was 14lbs 24in at two months so I can only imagine what he is now. Im amazed too at how fast Ryne is doing things. Sounds like our little guys are at about the same place developmentally. Na- I could never wait to test. I always went thru so many tests. I had to find a website where I could buy them in bulk because I tested so much. Robyn- You are a very strong woman and God will bless your life with a healthy baby. Im amazed at the strength that women on this site seem to have. Im very blessed to have you all in my life. Kelley- How are the girls doing? Hellos to everyone I missed. TTYL. Lots of Love

LeslieK - March 30

hey everybody - Christine - good to hear from you. Rhyne sounds like he weighed just what Joey did at the 8 week visit too. They sound very similar in size. My daughter was really quick to develop as a baby, she was scooting around the house at 4 months and then proceded to crawl and walk very early. My pediatrician was pleased Joey was ahead because she said sometimes bigger babies take a lot longer to do things. But I also know that none of this really means anything as all babies will develop according to their own pace and it doesn't predict anything for the future. My only guess would be that he will probably be athletic like his sister because he's so strong! I always got concerned when friends would compare their babies to mine and wonder why there's wasn't doing things when mine was (my background is in early childhood / elementary education), I just tried to focus on what each baby was doing and how fun it all was. In fact with Joey I'm thinking of trying to push him down when he gets up on his hands and knees! :) just joking, I just want him to be my little baby and not grow up too fast. I waited so long for him that I want to savor every moment I can. 12 years between kids does that to you!! Katt - I went shopping today too. I didn't have anything to wear for Easter and the next weekend is Joey's baptism, we had to move it up a week due to scheduling conflicts. I'm in desperate need of shirts though, I need some short sleeved shirts that run a little longer. My boobs are still so gigantic that none of my pre-pregnancy shirts fit. Anybody seen anything cute lately? Robyn - wouldn't that be great if it worked this month! I know you guys are going to get pg quickly again. Amy! welcome to our group. Here's my story - I'm 37, dh is 48 and its a second marriage for us both. I have a 13 y.o. daughter (Alex) and my husband and I tried for 9 months to get pregnant before I conceived my now 4 month old son. I only have one viable tube so the whole 9 months was under my OB & RE's care. But it all worked out and now we have a darling little boy. Now all I have to do is keep from having another one, LOL. Natasha - I would test sometime this weekend, but not be discouraged if it comes up neg. since you seem to have a really long cycle. hang in there!! Okay, I think I did a Katt post! LOL...talk to you all soon xoxo

ROBYN - March 31

Christine thank you for the compliment and I hope you are right. I will not be upset if it doesnt happen naturally we start IVFagain in 2 weeks so no biggie. Though i would be thrilled. Also glad Ryne is doing well. ERIN - test when you are ready like I said i have zero patience and would be testing till I was due. LESLIE - cant believe Joey is getting so big and those pics you sent of him were so adorable. AMY - this is a great thread most of us have been talking for a year already we have found a lot of strength on here. So we are glad you are here and hope you stick around a while. Well. we went and got dinner and went and got some great bottles of wine. Which i am enjoying since i have 2 weeks left to enjoy this stuff then its cold turkey girls. Well we are gonna watch a scary movie and we also went out and bought surround sound for our plasma tv so we can actually enjoy the benefits of having this kind of tv. Love you all will chat tomorrow.

amygirl - March 31

This group seems so wonderful.I would love to stick around.I hope i can conceive again on my own.We could afford meds or ivf or anything.I have had cryo surgery done in the past i wonder if that could affect things. So how many on here are pg?And how many is still trying?I am very discouraged.I wish the best to all on here.

NicoleM - March 31

Hey girls,

KATT, thanks for the advice. I do take flaxseed or primrose oil everyday and eat tons of fruit and veggies and soymilk. Cottage cheese often enough... hopefully it'll help. ROBYN, I was gone for awhile and had no idea what happened. I'm so sorry for what you went through! NATASHA, it's so good to see you're here too. I know it's such a rollercoaster - this ttc journey. That's why I just needed time away from everything. I was so obsessed with ttc that it was starting to affect my stress level big time. AMYGIRL, welcome! These girls are wonderful. Many of us have been here (in my case on and off) for over a year now. I'm 30, dh is 32. We've been ttc for 3 years. I had my first RE appt this past Wednesday and am starting on clomid next cycle. It seems to me that's what all the REs do to start. If you can't afford it, I've heard that Vitex (chasteberry) or ovulex (has vitex in it) works similarly to clomid, but is natural - no rx needed. Some of the other girls here might know more about it. Good luck to you! LESLIE, I wasn't keeping up on my yahoo mail either, but just saw the pics of Joey! Goodness, what a cutie pie! You're right about the chubby little legs - the perfect raspberry target! LOL! KATHY, hang in there and let us know about the U/S. What do the follitism injections do? Well, I'm off. To everyone I missed - you know I love y'all too!

amygirl - March 31

well i think af is on the way i have been having bad cramps.i cant wait to get pg.where are all of you from? How old are kids if you have any?I am a smoker and i am trying to quit.I cant afford the patches or gum.I am having a hard time with quitting. Not enough willpower.
