This is for Audrey...I just read your story and wanted to ask you how long your cycle is and if you used a opk. How long have you been ttc and did you do anything different to finally get pregnant?

Mel - December 1

Hello ladies! I have been reading all of your posts today, I have been trying for 2 years. Got pregnant once naturally but miscarried at 6 wks, and then after being on clomid I got pregnant again but miscarried at 5 wks. I have PCO and have been on Clomid and Metformin. For the ladies with PCO, is there a reason why your REs have no put you on Clomid AND metformin. From all that I have read, that combination is supposed to greatly increase your chances of getting PG. With Clomid however, some women still have the thick CM issues. I am desperately trying to lose some weight. From most of what I have read, the symptoms of PCO tend to reduce when you lose at least 10% of your body weight and it also increases your chances of conceiving. Also, if you have PCO, a controlled low carbohydrate diet is supposed to greatly help. I hope I will be successfull in losing weight (I am trying to by excercising everyday and watching trying to reduce my carb intake; although that is extremely difficult because I LOVE bread!). Anyway, I am taking a break from Clomid and IUI until January and am thorougly enjoying being "NORMAL" again! Am trying naturally until January. Audrey.....congratulations! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. To all the rest TTC, tons of baby dust sent your way!

My goodness- I leave the thread for a few extra hours and I'm thrilled to see all the new comers!!! Welcome to you all... how exciting. DH and I haven't told anyone were trying to conceive either. 19 mos. Been married for two years. I am 32 (just turned)..DH is 33. We come from large families (me-Italian...him- Irish) so every family event we get the whole "Any babies yet?? Are you trying?? Don't wait too long!" etc.... We just keep biting our tongues...if they only knew!!! But because of all the struggles I am SO glad we never said anything. We have enough "pressure" as it is. Many blessings and dust to our whole thread...we all deserve a BFP!

Hi all! Welcome Sissy, Christina and Mel. We are all so happy you decided to join our circle of friends. My advice to Sissy and Christina is don't give up. Your TTC journey has just begun and there could be obstacles or you could get pregnant rather easily. Either way, we are all here to help you every step of the way. I would start charting if you can remember to do so ( I can't be that disciplined), use OPKs, and BD as soon as you get your LH surge. Mel, I am so sorry to hear about your MC at 6 weeks. I know exactly how that feels having lost one about the same time as you did. Mine was due to very low progesterone levels. Did you happen to have your levels checked? Audrey and Lashunda how are our two new mommies to be? I hope feeling okay and all is well with you both. Keep us posted. Well, I this is my second month without the help of Clomid. Last month I Oed around the normal CD, but this month, I got a +OPK this morning on CD 14 which with Clomid is normally around CDs 16-18. I was so suprized because I only used three tests in three days and got it this morning. We even BDed this morning before I tested. Talk about timing. I am so happy finally my surge is happening on the weekend. I hope to get some serious BDing action this weekend. Also, I am wearing my Instead Soft Cup to help keep those spermies in. I have not really noticed my EWCM that I have gotton the last couple of months, but maybe today or tomorrow I will notice it. Hopefully taking the Evening Primerose Oil tablets will help with the CM. Anyways, I wish all you ladies a wonderful Friday and weekend! I will check back later. BABY DUST!!!!!

Cendy - December 2

Hi again. I just wanted to drop in and see if anyone had any information on using the natural progesterone cream that you can get over the counter. I got some at Walgreens today called MenoCream. If anyone has info or experience using natural progesterone, please let me know. Also, I know this is gross....but I finally saw the EWCM. I am so excited! I never catch my O this early. Cross your fingers and toes for me!!! BABY DUST!!!!

Hi everyone. I am 25 years old and married. I already have 1 child. He is 18 months. I know that he is still so small, but we have been TTC for almost a year. Everyone around us is getting pregnant. People at work, sister-in-law, part time babysitter. What is really frustrating for me is how ashamed I feel when someone tells me that they are pregnant. I mean, don't get me wrong I am definitely happy for them, but there is also a part of me that is so jealous. It makes me feel like a jerk, especially when it is my own sister-in-law. I hope no one things bad of me. But, I would definitely like to join your group. I know that already having a child I am blessed, but it would be so nice to stop trying because I have been blessed again. Maybe it is just me, but trying starts to wear on you. Last month my husband told me on two occasions that he "just can't do it." He was too tired. I didn't think that was possible!! I am ovulating this week, and the race is on to conceive once again. It would be an awesome Christmas present to get 2 lines!!

Jen - December 3

Mia, I know how you feel. Everyone around me is pregnant or just had a baby, and I keep thinking - why not me? My husband and I took a couple months off because it was just wearing us down. My husband last month had the same problem yours did about being too tired. This month, I sent a text message the morning of the first day we need to start trying, so he knew hours in advance and I didn't feel like I had to "nag" him. Sounds weird, but it seemed like less pressure.

Mia - December 3

Jen, I am glad to hear that we are not alone. That is exactly what my husband says. There is so much pressure. I guess I can't really understand because it isn't really up to me to "do it." He wants to have another baby as badly as I do though, so I know that he tries sometimes even if he isn't really into it. I have friends (without children, or newlyweds that are pregnant) that say don't try so hard. The only thing is with our hectic schedule if we stopped trying we might never have sex on the right days.

JAZZY - December 3

my husband and i have tried to conceive for a year and a half to no avail. i started clomid last month and i am hoping to god that i am pregnant. i found out that i have pcos and i never realized that it was so hard to become pregnant. i am expecting my period on dec. 15 or so, and the suspense is killing me.. i want to know if there is a little miracle inside of me. reading the different stories have been really helpful to me, they have given me some inspiration/hopefully i will soon have joyous news to add to the forum.

Mia - December 3

Good luck to you this month, Jazzy. I am expecting my period on the 16th. It seems so far away. I hate the suspense. Hopefully we will both have something to share.

sherry - December 3

hey girls, i got my dark line yesterday morning on cd 13, and we bd last night. weird thing is, i never get the +++ until like cd16-18, which is weird. anyone else on the interesting part of their cycles yet?

Mia - December 3

Today is supposed to be ovulation. I do not use the tests anymore because each month I am the same day. The only thing is, I have had no real signs yet. Some months trying time turns from 4 days to 7. Looks like this one will be one of those months.

Christina - December 3
