Good morning everyone! I hope all is well with you all. I am feeling a little better than yesterday. I am coming down with a head cold or allergies and I have been feeling terrible. I took some Benedryl last night and I was out like a light. I feel better today. Hopefully this will pass soon. CC-I am so glad to hear from you. I was getting a little worried about you. I am glad you seem hyped about your injections and IUI. That is a great attitude to have going into it. CRYSTAL74-Welcome to our thread. We are all glad to have you join us. 10 months ttc. That is enough time to at least talk to your obgyn about. I would have the doc run some tests to make sure all your levels are where they should be. I would also make sure you are ovulating each month. If you are not, you may want to see about getting on Clomid. There are lots of side effects with the drug, but it has helped many people concieve. I used it for 6 months and it did not work for me. If all the tests come out okay for you, then the next step is having you dh tested too. LASHUNDA-How is momma and little girl doing? Have you picked out her name yet? Are you started to shop now since you know it is a girl. We are shopping and don't even know yet. How funny for us if we have to take everything back to the stores. DEA-I am sorry your AF showed her ugly face. I know you are disappointed, but please be optimistic about the coming months. I am sure the RE will be able to help you conceive. DLONGEN-Are you officially late yet? It is not over till the AF shows for sure, so keep your hopes and spirits up! SOMEDAYMIMMA-I am glad you found our thread and decided to join us. 6 months is usually how long doctors want you to ttc until you bring them into the picture. I would also get some testing done on you and your dh. Are you charting, using OPKs, or other methods to conceive? I have taken folic acid, used a ferning scope, charted, checked my cm, used Instead Softcups, used Evening Primrose oil suppliments, Menocream natual progesterone cream, had blood tests, and and HSG to finally fall pregnant. I am 14 weeks and two days today. Maybe a few of these things might help you too. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to fill you in on all that I know. ERICKA-I am glad you and baby are doing well. As far as telling your sister in law, I would just tell her husband first and see how he thought you should tell her. He will be able to gadge whether or not if she is ready to hear the news and how to tell her. He might want to tell her himself. Also, I think that if your sister in law is giving away the little ones clothes, she is trying to move on so she may be totally okay with the idea of you having a baby. I know it is a hard thing to do. It is not the same situation, but I had to do that at work. My boss just lost her baby, and here I was pregnant. It was hard to tell her, but I did somehow. Well, I have to get back to work. Oh, and in case you don't know by now, I like to ramble. BABY DUST!

HOPEFULK-I am thinking of you today. May God be with you and cradle you in his arms today and always. BABY DUST!

HI girls, it all went fine at the hospital. Spoke to our specialist and he adviced the evac procedure. I know this pg was not right for a while and when we caught I was so shocked I've been terrified from minute one. That fear has now gone and though I would have been totally happy and positive had things looked good, they didn't and now that fear has gone. DH and I have decided to wait until at least Jul/Aug to even think about trying again. We just need to take some time to chill and get over our daughter and this little bean. Gonna have a holiday and loose some of the baby weight I put on with Halle. I'm ok, feeling a bit battered and bruised, but compared to what we went through with our daughter (and I know ERICKA will understand with what her sister went through) this feels like a bump in the road rather than total devestation. Anyway, I may not post for a while, but will keep checking in occasionally to see how things are going with you all. Sticky baby dust to those who's beans are growing nicely and good luck wishes for those ttc. xx

i don't have time to catch up, but i did peek and see your story HopefulK , and iam so sorry for your loss. i had a chemical pregnancy, lost a twin in my clomid iui pregnancy, and a lost a child when i was a teenager, so i have gone through many losses myself, and none are even close to easy to get over. we just move on, cause what choice do we have? just remember your baby will always be forever looking down over you and protecting you. you will, in time, feel him or her surrounding you. it's an amazing comfort. as for me, i just ovulated, and dh has been not giving me much sex again. that makes 3 months. we did have sex once at a great time, so there is hope, (his count must have been through the roof when we did it, lol, so that is good), but it is definately hard, not getting all the support you need from your dh. it's like sex is a chore to him, and not fun anymore, unless it's not for ttc. i know he wants a baby, i just don't know why they get this way, and at all the wrong times. i try staying away from this board, and appreciate what i have, for now, but it's hard. coming here everyday, just made me more baby crazy, ya know? but i have forgotten none of you, and am sending baby dust to everyone. May God bless us all, with strong and beautiful babies. i will be checking in for updates, and congrats for all the bfp's still left yet to come, and they will be coming. i'll keep you posted on me as well. best wishes, sherry

Hello all! Hows it going? Me okay. I have not had much sleep. My cat had her kittens around 4:45 this morning and of course I was right there with her. She was very young with this litter and I do not think she knew what she was doing. She had five. I am amazed. I thought at four she was done and my oldest son came in to see them when all the sudden she had another and it was breach. I had to help her and there is my six year old with eyes as big as quarters. I guess he knows where baby cats come from now. I wonder if he will put two and two together and know where babies come from. Enough about me. HOPEFULK-I am glad you felt up to posting. I too would take some time off. You need the rest mentaly and physically. Did you tell your family? I just wondered because I know you need lots of support right now. Please do keep checking in from time to time. We will all miss you. SHERRY-Glad to see you are alive and well. I hate it that you and dh cannot get together at the right times. It is hard on both of you when you feel like you are clocking into a timeclock when you are bd. You did say that you got in one good bd so we will all be praying that it worked this time. EVERYONE ELSE-Have a blessed day! BABY DUST!

somedaymomma - March 30

Cendy- thanks for answering. Im not exactly sure what all of that is. My cyles are usually to the day, so last month I thought I was pg. But I ended up starting sixteen days late. I've tried bbt, counting on the calendar, I'm already taking prenatal pills, and we have planned around ovulation, so I dont know whats wrong. ???

dlongen - March 30

Hi all- Hopeful-good for you to take some time. I did some therapy last year after my loss and it was really nice to have someone tell me it was ok to relax and veg out for awhile. I think we put a lot of stresses on ourselves in normal life and then it just escalates with stuff like this. Enjoy the break. Get drunk. Have fun. I'm still awaiting AF. I did another pt on Mon and it had the slightest, faintest 2nd line that just about drove me crazy. DH saw it too. I really feel pmsy though, so am not getting hopes up. My temps have been all over the board - like a roller coaster, so I don't think that's a good sign either. My doc says we'll stay the course on the 50 mg clomid for another mo to try to get a good us to determine whether I'm o. hope we can get it on the right day this time. So, this mo will probably just be for reassurance whether the clomid is working, then maybe in May we'll have another chance. For now, I will get more familiar with my basal temps and keep working out. Somedaymomma -welcome. Good luck and keep up the positive thoughts! DUST~~~~

Cendy - March 30

Hello friends. How are you all today? Me okay I guess. I am still trying to get over a head cold and the arrival of our new kittens. DLONGEN-A faint 2nd line is a positive. Are you sure you are not pregnant. Clomid will not give you a false +hpt. The second line on my hpt was so faint I almost did not see it. I thought it was a shadow. When I took the second test I knew for sure. Which test did you use? Are you late yet? I am excited for you! Keep us posted. SOMEDAYMOMMA-Have you tried the OPKs (ovulation predictor kits)? These helped me so much. Also, there is a site called www.fertilityfriend.com that will help you track you ovulation. Another thing to do is check you CM (cervical mucus) daily. Once it goes from creamy to egg white consistency you are ovulating or about to O. If you are having dry CM, you could try using Evening Primrose Oil. This is an herbal suppliment that helps with your CM to make it more sperm friendly. You can also get Preseed lubricant that is also sperm friendly. I took 800 mcg of folic acid a day while ttc and rubbed on progesterone cream. The Instead Soft Cups are normally used for menstruation, to collect the menstrual flow. They look like a diaphram. The idea is that once you bd (baby dance) You put one into your vagina and it keep the spermies closer to the cervix. You can keep them in for up to 12 hours. I used them and I think it helped me fall pregnant this time. The ferning scope is a little microscope that you can find at your local wal-mart or walgreens. It is in the femine products section with the hpts. You put a little of your saliva on the slide window and let it dry. When you look through the microscope you will see a fern like patten in your dried saliva. Once you do, that is a sign that you are oing. The good thing about these is that you don't have to buy one every month. You only need one and you can reuse it. I think I covered most or all the stuff I touched on before. Let me know if you should have any questions. Well, I have to go now. BABY DUST!

dlongen - March 30

Cendy-I appreciate all your positive thoughts. I can't really say I'm late yet. I'm on Day 33 and my cycles have varied from 28-36 days, although 33 is average. I will likely do another home test tomorrow morning if I haven't started, and see if it's any easier to tell for sure. I'm using strip tests from testsforless.com. Also, FYI to anyone- I bought a saliva O predictor (the fern kind) and my doc said it isn't worth a s**t. So, don't let that be your compass.

dlongen - March 31

OMG!!!OMG!!! I did another home test this morning and got another faint line, not quite as faint as the one on Monday. So, I called my doc and went in for a blood test this morning and just found out it is BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited I can barely contain myself. I am also scared and know this will be hard ebcause they have to check all my levels every 2 days for a long time because of the rupture last yr. But, I am thinking positive and hope that everything works out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all your thoughfulness and support, guys. I think the positive energy has really helped.

JENZEY - March 31

dlongen congratulations! I wish you a healthy pregnancy=}

dea - March 31

Congrats DLONGEN!! I'm very happy for you. Glad to hear eveyone else is doing well, too! DH & I have set up an appt. with an RE for August. I guess we'll actually be having sex for fun until then...I've decided to give us both a break and just relax until the next appt. I will definately be checking in- though I probably will not post as often. Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather (for those in the NE!!) Enjoy the weekend girls... ~~DUST~~

Cendy - March 31

Hi all! DLONGEN-I told you so!!!! Congratulations!!!!! I am sooooooo happy for you!!!!!!! I know you will be just fine. Be positive and start taking those prenatal vitamins. Do you know what your HCG level was today? I know your numbers will double as they should. I know it is nerve racking, but you will be fine. So how many dpo were you when you got the faint BFP? Keep us posted on how you and your little bean are doing. JENZEY-Hi and welcome to our thread. I hope you wil continue to stop by. DEA-Sometimes things have to happen in your life to make you take a break from TTC. I had my break kind of when I had my HSG and all the infections I kept getting. That last month I fell pregnant just having fun. Maybe this break will let you both relax and concieve on your own. I wish you much luck. BABY DUST!

Ericka - March 31

CONGRATULATIONS Dlongen!!!!! I am so happy for you. It is great that they are checking you every two days, at least that will give you some peace of mind. As for me, I started spotting again yesterday. It is very little and a very light brown. I haven't called my doc because last time he told me that light spotting is very common in the first trimester. I keeping a close eye on it and if it gets any worse I'll be straight off to the doctor. It does worry me that I won't get another u/s for a while, so today I ordered a fetal doppler for my own sanity. I hope it comes soon!! Have a great weekend.

dlongen - April 3

Hi again-thanks for all the congrats, guys. I found out today that my HCG level on Fri was like 275, and my progesterone level was good. So, it's VERY EARLY!!! I get another blood test tomorrow. Cendy-I forget what dpo means. DEA-Have fun, girl! I already miss my hot tub! Ericka-I think it's always good to keep in close contact with the doc. Try not to worry about anything-like I can talk! haha I really think all you girls are lucky charms. DUST!

Cendy - April 3

Hi everyone! 15 weeks today! I can hardly believe it. I go to the doctor for a checkup this week. I am excited. Ericka, I hope the brown spotting has stopped. I am sure you will be fine. I would see the doc anyway just to make sure things are okay. It couldn't hurt anything and having reassurance that everything is okay will make you feel much better. I am thinking of you. DLONGEN-I am so glad your numbers are high. DPO is days passed ovulation. Do you know when you oed? I am always curious to see how early hpt show + before you miss your AF. What level was your progesterone? My level at 11 dpo was HCG 33.6 and progesterone at 29. Well, I am sleepy now. I will check in tomorrow. BABY DUST!
