yes, 20 weeks is torture, I just see an OBGYN....however, at my first appt. when I was 5 weeks, she said she would have done a u/s but all we would see is a sac and she wanted to wait until we could see more than that, so maybe I can talk her into doing a quick on at this appt???? I have had 2 m/c in the past year, so maybe she will....I was naughty and rented a doppler off the interenet the same kind they use in hospitals....it was like $30/month plus an initial 20 for insurance, so I splurged! My dh doesn't know yet!! But I plan on taking it to my grandmas so she can hear it......they didn't have that back then, so I'm sure she'll be excited!!

HI Girls: ERICKA: You were released quite early!? I don't think my RE turns me over the my OB/GYN until 3 months. But, who knows-- they might surprise me next Friday and have me start reporting directly to her. It would certainly be closer to my house 10 min. drive instead of 35. :o) But, for now I am just thrilled to be PG. CC: Thinking of you and hoping Friday went well. TAMMY: I will be 6w1d next Friday- so it sounds like we might get to see something a bit more interesting than just the sac?? And of course, we keep thinking about the possibility of multiples-- but I still think it's just the one.... HOPEFUL- You and I are about a week apart! How are you feeling thus far? I haven't had any m/s (I know I can get it later) and have only had some cramping/expanding issues, but nothing alarming. One thing though- I used to love broccoli- but now it gives me terrible gas- painful stabbing movements throughout my mid-section, so for now I avoid it!! Hi DEA, been hanging out wondering whats going on with CC. No news is good news I suppose. I'm hoping its all good and she's just still celebrating. As for me I've been sick from about 4 weeks. I've got sickness, sore boobies, cramping and wind. But this is my 3rd pg remember and I think it gets worse each time. So far this pregnancy hasn't been easy or fun, we've had spotting and lost clots and stuff and had to go to the ER and go to the early pregnancy unit and had 2 scans so far luckily saw a great little heartbeat both times though and I'm only 6.3 weeks. Its been a fun ride so far. I can honestly say I don't care as long as this pregnancy is succesful. How you doing? x

Hello all! Sorry I have not posted in a while. I have been busy with last minute baby stuff. Only 9 days and Wyatt will be here. I cannot believe that next Thursday I will be holding him in my arms. It gives me goosebumps! Dawnrains, I never used that med before, but I did use Clomid for 6 months with no luck. The advise I would give you is using the Instead Soft Cups, Evening Primrose Oil, take 800mcg of Folic acid and having an HSG done. Do a google search for these and you will see what I am talking about. It is what helped me after about a year and a half of trying. I am so sorry about your m/c. I had one with our first child and it was devasting. Dea, I am so happy for you. I do not blame you for going shopping and buying the entire store after all you have been through to conceive. Lashunda, how are you and the little one doing? Have you recovered from the c-section? I am not looking forward to the recovery, but I just want to get it over with. I visited your myspace and you have two very beautiful little girls. They are just precious. Dea, I cannot wait to hear if you are having multiples or not. It would be so nice to have a boy and a girl right off the bat. I am glad your beta number was good. CC, how is it going? We cannot wait to hear from you. Hi all - Checking in after the "long" weekend - didn't feel nearly long enough! I was sure hoping to see a post from CC. I will keep hoping for some good news. CENDY- so exciting that you only have 9 DAYS left! Man - that is so cool! Are you ready? Have you and Wyatt been having little chats? I finished up the nursery this weekend - it is pretty goofy but I really like it. We painted ocean creatures in a 2 foot stripe around the middle of the room. Some of them look like 3rd graders did it, but it's very fun and colorful and hopefully Phoebe will like it. I'm feeling great except for hip pain. Sleeping is hard. I think I am coming down with a cold, but trying to psyche it out. Maybe it's just allergies. We're finally getting some rain in Austin, so maybe it's due to the weather. DEA- I love that feeling of looking at the little clothes you've bought and I so understand what you're feeling. HAVE FUN with it all! That's my advice. I have felt like every day was a blessing since that BFP. I think all that positive energy will help the baby. TAMMY - that is so cool that you got the doppler. My DH and i talked about it but never got one. You will have fun with that. :-) I bet if you ask your doc she'll let you have an u/s. With your history I'm shocked she hasn't wanted to do one earlier. I had to have some early ones because of my ectopic last year - they had to make sure the bean was in my uterus. What a relief to see her in the right place! HOPEFUL- I'll be thinking good thoughts for your little one. Sounds like you've had a tough road too. Hi girls! Sounds like everyone is busy, busy, busy... Yes DLONGEN- the weekend wasn't wuite long enough! ha! CC-CC-CC-where are you?? Hoping you got that BFP. If not, we are still here for you and throwing dust your way. HOPEFULK: I have had minimal signs. Just some sore bbs and a bit of tugging/pulling in my lower abdominal area-- (and some constipation--tmi??) Anyone have any suggestions for that?? I am feeling pretty good. CENDY: A week and a bit! BFP!!! It all doesnt seem real. Sorry to have left everyone hanging, we were up in Northern Ca for Labor Day visiting my in-laws and just got back last night. I have more bloodwork tomorrow to make sure my levels are rising as they should, and my 1st u/s next Thursday to hopefully see the sac(s)..Then another one 2 wks from that date for heartbeats..One of the benefits of IVF, lots of u/s's in the beginning. We could have two in there, but I think its only 1. I still just cant believe it! It hasnt sunk in yet at all. Thank you everyone for all your well wishes and thoughts and prayers. Honestly, I never thought my day would come. Cendy-a week to go, WOW!! You must be so excited, and sooo ready. Dea-I saw your constipation question. Are you taking pre-natals? A lot of them come w/ a stool softener in them. Eat prunes! I know it sounds funny, but it works. My RE turns me over after 2 months..they all do it differently. Dlongen, your nursery sounds adorable! I love the ocean theme!! Hopeful, I wish you a ton of luck this pregnancy, and I "hope" that things begin to get better for you. I know what you mean, as long as its a succesful pregnancy, I too would suffer every day if I had to. Tammy, your wait for an u/s does sound like agony! I feel like I need one every day! How I wish, wouldnt that be nice? : )

Woo Hoo CC. I am soooooo happy for you. I know what you mean about not quite believing it. Your u/s is next Thur, how far along will you be? Have you told anyone yet? I think we are all finally pregnant. That is amazing. Cendy, you are having you c/s on the 13th correct? I can't believe it is so soon. Are you still working? Do you have evreything ready? What do your other two boys say about having a baby brother? Dea, I'm sorry about the constipation. I can't help you in that area, because luckily I never had it but I have read that if you increase how much water you drink it may go away. Good luck on your u/s tomorrow. I'll be waiting to hear how it went. Dlongen, your nursery sounds adorable, and it is even more special because you did it on your own. We had ours painted light blue, but have done nothing else. I am the least creative person ever so I am lost for what to do. I had a check up yesterday and the doc says Sammy is already heads down and he doesn't expect him to change from that position. He also said he would put me on disability at my 36th week which would be on the 30th. I wasn't planning on leaving work so soon, but it is nice to know I have that option especially since the pain in my back and on my legs gets worse by the minute. Have a good day all.

Who here has got there BFP and who is still TTC?

Congratulations CC!!!! I just knew it this time! I am so happy for you and am glad that you will be taking many peeks at your little bean very soon! I am on cloud nine for you!!!! I am guessing that Dea's and your babies will almost have the same exact due date. It wil be fun to see you both progress together. How long had you been TTC? I went for my last OB apt today before Wyatt comes next Thursday. I have not been feeling well today and having some little pains so she did an exam and I am dialated to 1 cm. I could not believe it since I never dialate. None with either of my two boys. She said that I could stay that way for weeks, but if I start to have more regular contractions or my water breaks before next Thursday to call and then go to the hospital for my c-section. I am excited and then scared at the same time. I remember real contractions and I am not looking forward to them, but on the other hand, I am really miserable these days and if he came earlier that would be good too. Also, she did an ultrasound to see if he was still in the breech position and he is not, he is head down and what a big head it is. I cannot imagine trying to push that out of me. I have one picture of him kicking me and it looks like a foot print. I am so excited for all of us here in our little group. To me it is like we are all family. I wish we could share pictures and such. DEA, it is the prenatal vitamins you are taking plus your body is slowing its digestive system down to make sure all the nutrients get from you to the baby. Yes, drink lost of water and eat bran cereals and muffins. They helped me. I also used a stool softner when things were really bad. Your doc should be able to let you know which ones and the dosage to take. Ericka, I am still working and the boys are so excited that they are counting the days until baby brother is here. My c-section is on the 14th. As far as having everything ready, I am almost there, but not quite. I am happy that you have the option of going on disability so soon. I would have loved to have done that. With your back problems you really need to take them up on that. I know I would. Tibby, I got a BFP and as you have read I am having my baby next week. I do think it would be good to do like a roll call of due dates and such. Well, I have to go lay down, I am very tired. BABY DUST!

CC-yeah, I am so happy for you!! Looks like you can join dea in the due in May section in the first trimester board!! That is so cool..... I had my appt. today and heard the HB, even though I heard it already through the doppler I rented...it is such a relief to hear that little thump, thump, thump.....thump...it sounds like a horse galloping!! It was in the 170's which is really high!! Maybe it means a girl!! My next appt. is October 4th and my doc. said we would set up the appt. for the u/s then, I can't wait!! I will be 15 weeks at my next appt., which means we will schedule the u/s for like 4 weeks after that.....it seems like forever, but it really isn't....I can wait...I think!! I wish they had u/s machines you could rent! Yeah right, imagine what the cost of one of those would be!!

Yay, CC!!! I knew it! I'm so happy for you. I guess all the waiting paid off, LOL. Cendy, coming up close huh? I recovered pretty good actually. I was up and ready after one week. CC - Yaaaaaay I'm sooooo happy for you girlie. You have such a wonderful journey ahead of you. Lucky you seeing your little bean so often. Sending sticky baby dust to you, hubby and bean. DEA - I've tried stewed fruit before and its worked, or pure orange as soon as you get up. That should move you. Also, I'm in the UK and I've been told to take Fibogel drink. Go to your pharmisist (I know I've spelt that wrong eeck), and tell them your pg and what wrong and they will be able to help. Hope you feel better soon. xx

Hi girls- thinking of starting a new thread---CC!!!! YAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thrilled for you!!! I had my first u/s sound today-- I am 6w0d. Saw the HEARTBEAT!! Dh had a hard time seeing it. The baby is mesuring .27 cm. It's hard to imagine something so small yet- s/he has a heart. How cute... Oh and in case it isn't obvious-- just one baby. And that is perfectly fine with me!!!! Hopefully, the pg will be healthier and I will have a better chance at vaginal birth. I have two more u/s w/ my RE then I go back to my regular ob/gyn. So- I will have a pic for next Thursday and one the following week. The technician said there will be a big difference between today and next week. Well- girls, thanks for your suggestions and guidance- I am feeling MUCH better about the bathroom issues. I think the hydration was a definite help. CENDY- speaking of next week... I am sure you'll do great and be completely prepared. You are an old pro at this point! Give the boys little jobs to help out with their little brother. DLONGEN: Cute nursery. We are doing a froggy theme. It is already painted and we put the border up along with a matching valance for the window. My dh likes to be prepared! Now I can say BELLY RUBS to you all!
