Well, last night I took the clearblue easy ovulation test, and for the first time, I had a smiley face! So we are having a fun week to say the least! I guess I will have to do the TWW now. Anyone else in waiting? How long should we continue to have sex after the test came back positive?

To Cendy.. - December 9

hey there, I'm still here. I browse in and out to see if any of you got BFP's. I'm still rooting you on!! I miss talking to the old group though. As for me, I guess I'm doing fine. Hit 2 month mark and they got me on baby asprin and a shot that I have to take every night. I'm very hopeful about this pregnancy. Oh yeah, I heard the heartbeat. It was so great. I have another appt on the 19th and I should be almost 10 weeks. Wish me luck and take care. Babydust!!!

Cendy - December 9

Hi ladies! Merry Chrismas to you all. Many wishes of BFP in all your stockings! I don't know if any of you have visited www.tryintorecieve.com, but I did and emailed Momma Kath for TTC advice. She emailed me back and I thought I would share what she had to say.

Hi Cendy

I am so sorry for your loss {{{hugs}}}

I have observed that women tend to conceive only 2 times per year. For example my mother and 4 kids (late spring) and 2 kids first week of September. You must know that even when everything is done perfectly (as with IUI/IVF) there are no guarantees it will work.

Having said all that, begin dancing when you see egg white and continue for 5 days. Sperm can live up to 5 days in the female tract so as soon as you see the fertile mucus (very sperm friendly) get those swimmers up there!

You may want to consider monitoring your pH level. The body is quite capable of clearing away debris if given the proper nutrients. Our body is comprised largely of water and this water can be either acidic or alkaline. The acid or alkaline level is measured on a pH scale (potential for hydrogen). When our pH is high, we are more alkaline and much more sperm friendly! For DNA-RNA synthesis and the body’s natural cleansing (healing) processes to occur, cell pH must be alkaline. High acidity accelerates and increases the possibility of cellular mutations (cancer) therefore, it is very important to keep your pH in check! Fibroids are non-cancerous tumors but nonetheless they are uncontrolled and a source of continuous abnormal cell growth. You can raise pH and thus lower acidity by:

ü Eating fresh foods (fruits and vegetables) and avoiding coffee, sugar and overcooked food. I have a new product, Asparagus Extract in both capsule or tea.

ü Deep breathing! Take a slow deep breath in through the nose to the count of 8….exhale slowly out of the mouth to the count of 16 (twice as long as in the inhale). This will empty your lungs of stale air and help rejuvenate and alkalize your body!

ü A daily dose of Lecithin and Alfalfa will also help raise your pH (alkalinity). Red Clover would be helpful as it cleanses the blood.

sounds good as the key to TTC and first trimester success is hormone balance. When introduced less abruptly (using herbs not chemicals) the body is able to adjust and eventually restore hormone balance. Once the body achieves balance, it is quite capable of maintaining that balance even during the rigors of a first trimester. Much like going on a quick and drastic weight loss diet….so many times that weight returns as quickly as it came off.

Raising your Progesterone level the natural way is the key so your body can maintain the level. With creams it is more difficult to insure you are getting the same dose each day. I have a product ProGest Naturally in the TTC Store that is a plant-derived (phyto) progesterone that is in pellet form. You bite into it (to break it in pieces) and let it sit under your tongue for 5-7 minutes to let the saliva break it down. There is no taste to it and you can feel the difference. I can feel it relax me, a good relaxing feeling.

new life to your abdomen! If you have a massage therapist you trust, ask him/her to check your pelvic girdle which can lock up (Psoas Muscle a/k/a Pelvic Girdle) and create infertility. I have found abdominal exercise to be our best offense towards remaining fertile and a thriving libido. We tend to store fat in our abdomen and this encourages old estrogen to linger. Not good for fertility. You may want to try Pilates to strengthen the pelvic girdle. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0767

Hello everyone- and welcome to the newbies!! JOCELYN- I am surprised to see you here... only 2 months!! You have plenty of time!! Welcome just the same... Here is a clomid question. Do any of you take clomid although there isn't anything technically wrong with you??? Hubby has low sperm count and bad morphology-- so would clomid be worth it for me? We have tried IUI once. But- w/o any clomid or u/s to monitor. We are going to try IUI again in January. I am interested in your thoughts. Thanks!

CC - December 9

Hi Cendy! I am still here as well. Glad to have read the post from Lashunda (we miss you and glad you and the baby seem to be doing well)..I have been MIA since before Thanksgiving. Trying to keep my mind off the ttc game. Am on cd 29 and waiting for AF any day now, and take my last round of Clomid as soon as AF comes. I have been reading your posts and checking up on you to make sure I dont miss your BFP! Will check in from time to time..Have a great holiday if I dont post before then. Wondering about Ericka and how she has been and made out at the Dr ?

lashunda - December 9

thanks CC, i forgot to put my name from the message, to Cendy,LOL

Cendy - December 10

Hi all! Welcome all new comers. CC glad to hear you are still around. Thanks for posting Lashunda's name, because to be perfectly honest, I was not sure who she was. Lashunda, I am so glad you are doing well. What are the shots for? You are a very strong woman to take them every night. I know I would have trouble giving myself shots, but like you I am sure you do it for the baby. Christi, I am glad your fall did not harm you or the baby. It must have been really scarey. Well, I will go for now. BABY DUST!

Cendy - December 10

Its me again. I have mentioned using Evening Primrose oil to help with my CM and it really does work. This month I did not use it and barley and EWCM, but the previous 2 months it was much more. I wanted to post this link so that any of you having problems with your CM could read what it is, what it does and how to use it. http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/epo.html

Ericka - December 11

Hi Cendy and CC. I'm still around, I have just been super busy. Like CC, I've been trying to keep my mind off things. DH and I did our blood work and his SA this week. We should get the results soon. I am 5 dpo and expecting af in about a week. I hope all is well with you guys. Lashunda, I'm glad everything is going well. I'm with you, I miss the old group.

Cendy - December 11

Hi all! Glad to hear from you Ericka. I know what you mean about trying to keep your mind off things and sometimes staying away from the boards is the best way to do it. I hope all your tests come back good. Keep us posted. Well, have you ladies noticed my name is in red. That means I have registered and no one else can use my name. I have saw other boards where people have been playing pranks by posting other peoples names so I think it would be wise to get your names registered so that does not happen to our thread. This has cause a lot of problems in other threads and I would hate it to happen to ours. Well ladies, have a nice Sunday. Talk to you later. BABY DUST and DIAPER DUTY to you all!

Cendy - December 11

Bumping the thread and Happy Birthday to me!

Cendy - December 11

I keep bumping, but it does not move the thread up! Whats the big idea leaving our thread on the bottom? LOL

dea - December 11

hi all- just checking in. O-ing right now. No fancy lab work this cycle....going to put our faith in mother nature and the big man upstairs... we'll see! enjoy your evening!

Cendy - December 12

Hello! Dea I am saying prayers for you that this will be your month! I am on CD 25, cramping a little and urine is really yellow. I wonder if these are signs of the upcoming BFP? I have about a week to go before I can test. Is anyone waiting for no AF around the 19th or 20th? I wonder if the thread posting is fixed now. Well, we will see if this post moves its way on up. BABY DUST!
