DIEM: Yours and your DH's schedules sound pretty damn good if you'd only need 2 days of day care! I think it sucks how families these days NEED two incomes. I always said I was born in the wrong time period - I think the mom staying home with the kids was great! I was lucky; neither of my parents missed anything. My mom stayed home until my brother & I went to kindergarten, and I don't ever remember them not being there. My DH does HVAC; leaves at 6am but home around 3:30. And for now, I have a job that's work-from-home. So it could all be good. Anyway, tonight is the last of the BD sessions for this cycle. Hopefully one of the 5 times this week took!!

newmommy - September 26

Diem---DH races stock cars. We just have one long weekend to go, and then the season's over for the year! I like it, but I'm ready for it to be over--it keep us busy for 6 months! One reason why we decided to move back to Seattle is that I will probably be able to stay at home when we have a baby, or at least just work part-time. I would REALLY like to be a stay-at-home mom, at least until school-time. Jersey---my DH does HVAC, too! He usually leaves the house at about 6:30, but usually works until 7:00 or later!!! And in the winter, it seems like I just have a room-mate!!! But he's already let his boss know that he will NOT be working that much when we have kids (and he's already negotiated for a week of paternity leave, too!). K8---glad you had fun. Mmmmm...fair food sounds good! Roxy---how's the "o" looking for you??? Does anyone know when Lucky gets home? Nothing new to report, no symptoms :-( just waaaiiiiitttttiiiiiinnnnngggggg!

I am so excited. My preseed came in yesterday. I am on cd 10 so I can't wait to try it out. I am going to start testing with OPK's probably on friday which will be cd13 since I think I am o'ing later. My temps looks so good this cycle. They are staying between 97.2 and 97.5. Last cycle they were all over the place. I hope with all this, plus relaxing and not stressing it will happen this month.

JerseyGirl - September 26

K8: Things sound like they're off to a good start for you! NEWMOMMY: Does your DH do service & installation, or is he a job super? Mine does the first 2, and has a pretty regular schedule. He also does tons of work on the side, but typically saves that for Saturday mornings - and he's usually home before I wake up! Thankfully, his work never gets in the way of us doing things. Anyway, so last night we successfully BDd for the last time this cycle. He tried putting it off 'til tonight, but I told him the window would be closed by then, so he agreed. So from today until Oct. 5th (when I should start spotting), I'm just waiting. If things stay the same as in the past, AF will come full force on Oct. 8th. Hope she stays away!!!!

k8cherry - September 26

JerseyGirl - Your are too cute. Dh's don't understand that "tomorrow is not an option when trying to get pregnant" Right now dh and I are on the every other day so far since AF left. I have been walking over 2 miles during my lunch the past couple of weeks while this beautiful weather lasts and dh seems to want it every night. I told him I don't want to wear us out before the time is right. But it's nice not to have the pressure on. Maybe thats why he is so frisky!!! hehe.

JerseyGirl - September 26

K8: So you start BDing every other day once AF leaves? I don't think we're that good. My last AF left around the 11th, and we didn't start BDing until the 17th. But then we did every other day for the most part. I honestly think my DH & I don't do it enough... we just do it right around "O" time, though I think this time we did it much more than in previous months. I'm hoping this is it already. I just saw another TWO friends who are preggers...

newmommy - September 27

Well girls, I'm feeling really crappy tonight. Nauseous, and just icky. I hope this is a good sign, although I'm not having a lot of cm, so I don't know. I may go ahead and test tomorrow--depends how lucky I feel!!! JERSEY---my DH is kind of doing both; installing and helping run crews. He goes out on jobs for himself, but also checks in on others, and answers all their questions. Their regular foreman kinda sucks, so he's double-timing it! K8---have fun "testing out the pre-seed!!!" :-) SOunds like DH is ready to give it a trial run! Good luck!! DIEM, ROXY, and LUCKY---how are you guys???

diem - September 27

Hi ladies,
Just stopped in to say hi real quick. We started our FCAT state testing yesterday at work so this week will be a bit hectic. I also had parent night last night and didn't get home until 9 pm. I may not have a chance to chat much in the next few days. I will be exhausted when I get home. I'm on 5DPO and my temps keep rising. They've never been this high before. I'm hoping it's a good sign. FF says not to test until OCT 7TH!!! (that's a 35 day cycle?!?)But I KNOW I will test sooner than that. I'm a bit nervous with what happened last month. Sounds like everyone is doing great! Newmommy it sounds promising!!!
Talk to you soon.

k8cherry - September 27

Diem - I hear you on being hectic at work. We had training ALL day today. I am so tired. I can't wait to go home. JerseyGirl - We try to bd everyother day but usually doesn't happen. It starts off good then dwindles down near o time and 2nd half of the cycle. We missed yesterday cuz I am suffering from some serious headaches which I think has something to do with looking at a computer all day. So tonight we will make up for it. I am starting to get EWCM so I think I might o early this month. So let the bding begin. I have to get some OPK's so I know that I am for sure. Don't want to waste the preseed. Baby Dust~~~~

roxy01 - September 27

Hi everyone. It sounds like some very positive signs out there. It would be great to get multiple BFP's this month!!! Well I'm out of the running. Got af this morning. So only a 7 day lp this month. This is my weirdest cycle yet. I don't know whether the acu isn't agreeing with me or it's still the after affects of the d&c. This is only my 2nd cycle since then. Oh well, only one more month and I can try clomid again. I know that works for me...I just have to work out how to stay pregnant! Hope everyones having a good day. And being way too busy at work is why I haven't posted in a few days. I missed all my cyber chicks!! xxx

k8cherry - September 27

Roxy - so sorry af showed. At least now you can start fresh with a new cycle. Well its official my SIL is pregnant. Got the call this afternoon from my MIL. I am so happy for her it has been really tough for her since she had a tubal pregnancy and caused her to have to do IVF. But I am so jealous and I know I shouldn't be. I cried all the way home. Had to get it out before I call her and congratulate her. I can't let this get to me because I am really praying that it will happen for me this cycle. Well gonna go tackle dh and get bding. It's looking like I might o this weekend.

JerseyGirl - September 27

K8, you crack me up with the, "let the bding begin" and "tackle DH." Sorry you cried when you heard your SIL was pregnant; I sympathize with you. ROXY: Sorry about AF. Bitch. DIEM: I think you and I are on the same schedule. I expect to start spotting on the 5th, with regular flow starting on the 8th. We'll see what happens. Don't test too early - you don't wanna be discouraged by a (possibly false) negative. Let's make a pact that we don't test until the 7th, ok? That'll be just as hard for me, because if I don't start spotting on the 5th, then I'll definitely think I'm pregnant. But I'll wait with you. Just lemme know!!!!

diem - September 27

Roxy....sooo sorry about AF. She truely is a witch! K8 it's hard not to get upset when you find out someone else is pg. Even if you know they deserve it. Sometimes I feel (and I'm sure you can all relate to this) like there is no one else in this world who wants to be pg more than me. It is an undescribable feeling. I am trying to stay stress free....but work isn't helping. I'm sure stressing myself out isn't healthy for my body. BUT I WANT IT SO BAD (scream!!!) I feel like it's not fair. I've had 2 miscarriages. The excitement and then the let down is way to much to handle. I really don't feel pg this month at all. My boobs are usually sore by now...they were last month when I WAS pg...but there is no soreness. I'm a bit tired but of course that's due to work. This 2ww IS KILLIN ME!!! I don't know how to take my mind off of it. Its all I think about. It's so much easier to think negative thoughts so that I don't get let down. Usually I'm so positive...I guess I'm just tired and cranky tonight and needed to vent. It's nice to have people to vent to who don't get annoyed by my whining like dh. My thoughts are spinning out of control. I guess I should go rest. Thanks for listening....even though your not literally listening.

It's weird because I feel so close to you all but don't even know you.

Let's all get BFP's this month ok???? That way everyone is happy and no one is left out or jealous. (in a perfect world )

newmommy - September 28

Well, I don't know what to think. I started some light spotting this afternoon. It's either good news (implantation) or bad news (AF). I'm not exactly sure of the dates. I got +opk's on cd28 and 29, so I'm guessing that I probably "o'd" on cd30. Since I'm on cd39 today, it could be implantation---I read that it can happen anywhere between 5-12 days, and it would be 9dpo (I thought I was farther along than that!!!) today. Still possible. But I'm still scared that it is likely AF. That witch. I hope she stays her distance!!!! If AF holds off until then, I'll probably test Monday morning, which will be 14dpo. +++oh, I hope!+++ DIEM---I agree, there just can't possibly be anyone else in the whole world that wants this more than us. Right??? :-) I'm glad it looks promising for you. Maybe your work will be busy enough to kind of take your mind off of your 2ww! (yeah, right!) I'll be pretty busy for the rest of my 2ww; I have to get ready for our weekend of racing out of town, and the races should keep me busy until Monday morning. (or I'll just space off and think about babies when DH isn't racing!!!!) ROXY---SO sorry about AF coming. We hate her!!!! Hopefully your cycle will even out soon for you! JERSEY---good luck on your 2ww, too!!! K8---sorry about the SIL. It sucks. Everytime I see a pregnant woman or newborn, I just have look up at my DH and he knows what I'm thinking: "everybody in the world is pregnant but me!!!" Get some good BD in this "o", girl!!!!

k8cherry - September 28

JerseyGirl - Glad I can make you laugh. Well we never got to bd last night. Instead we got into fight. Why does it have to happen around my fertile time. I swear. FF says I am fertile right now so I am not taking NO for an answer anymore. I went and bought the Answer brand of OPK's and it wasn't positive last night so I am not too worried about last nights episode. Have any of you tried that brand before? Can they make it any harder on us? Its nice that it comes with 20 strips but to have to pee in a cup to get the results is asking a little too much. You should have seen me today at work trying to get my first test in today. Its a good thing I was in the larger stall. hehehe!!! I got a light second line so I think I am due to o in the next couple of days so its on. Bding everyday with preseed and I won't take no for an answer. Deim - vent all you want. We are here to listen. I completely understand how you feel and I am so happy to be able to talk with you guys. Dh just doesn't understand what we are going through. Its frustrating sometimes. Roxy - my lp was really short last cycle too. I have never had that before. Maybe this cycle will be better. My temps look so good compared to last cycle and it looks like I will actually o around cd 14. So I am hoping that the messed up cycle got it out of your system and this cycle will go smoothly and into a BFP in the end. Newmommy - I am keeping my fingers crossed xxxxx that its implantation for you. You are not out of the running unless the witch shows up full force. Well gotta go back into training again. BABY DUST!!!!

JerseyGirl - September 28

K8: Sorry no BDing last night for you - total bummer! Anyway, I use Answer as my OPKs!!!!! If you had a faint line this morning, you are sure to "O" within the next day or so. At least that's what happens with me. I always test first thing in the morning though - it's just easier to remember. Yeah, I hate that you hafta pee in a cup, but seriously, with all the $ that could be spent on OPKs and pregnancy tests, these are worth peeing in a cup!! For only, what, $20, you can test until all the strips are gone. OH! And don't pay attention to the package when it says to discard the strips after 30 days if you don't use them all. I used mine for 2 cycles and they worked fine - the 2nd cycle (when they should've been in the garbage!) gave me a + on the exact day I was expecting to "O." (I really only test a few days before I know I'm about to "O" so I only use 5 or so each cycle.) Just be sure to close the canister right after you take the strip out, and make sure it stays closed until you open it for the next test. Good luck!! DIEM: Relax!! There are worse things in life than the 2ww. It ain't easy, but try to keep your mind on something else. Don't stare at the calendar or anything. For some strange reason, I'm not feeling the way I did last month. Last month I was more like you, but this time, I'm like, "whatever will be, will be." It's not in my hands... BABY DUST all!!
