Hi mommywannabe, I am happy to hear about you! I am so surprised that you guys are so close to me!!! You are right, my husband usually drives and I am terrible about not paying attention to where we go! mommywannabe - Did you guys see Dr. Cunningham? He is nice...and a little unique. :) I will keep the names of both of your doctors so I can hopefully request to see one of them. I am so afraid of being told that there is no hope! My DH has been crushed over all of this. He is really taking this hard...we both are, but I think for a man, it is even harder because of the ego side of things. He has said that he feels like less of a man and has been afraid that I will leave him for "a real man that has sperm". I just hate to see my DH hurt. Oh well, on a brighter note...I tend to fall into sad thoughts and I need to stop! I need happy thoughts! I will keep happy thoughts and prayers for you all! Thank you all for such a warm welcome!

Ok guys, I am freaking out--- I just found out I failed the glucose test :(

Nikki, I failed the first one too and so did both my sisters with both of their kids. We all did the 3 hour test and passed. Don't worry until you do the 2nd test. And if you fail that it just means they will put you on a restrictive diet for gestational diabeties and you'll be fine after child birth.

Everything will be ok....you are having a wonderful, healthy baby and I am sure, like mommywannabe said, at most it will be diet restrictions. Happy thoughts.

Morning girls- Just wanted to say a quick hello. I hope you all had a great 4th. Raegan and I went out to lunch yesterday and then I slept for about 2 hours in the afternoon while Raegan helped my dad outside with some yardwork. I am feeling kinda "oogy" these days - VERY tired and the last couple of days, quite queesy. I'm hoping this doesn't last long - I have absolutely no energy. I probably would have called off work today but someone else is on vacation so I have to go. I dreamnt last night that I had twins - talk about waking up in a cold sweat - they'd have to lock me up in an institution if that happened. :) Well, I hope you all have a good day - only 2 more days this week so that is a good thing. Hey girls! Hope everyone had a great 4th! Took Colton to see his first fireworks show and he LOVED it!! He watched the sky so intently! It was great. Hopefully this means that his fav holiday is going to be the 4th of July just like his mom! Amy: Welcome!! This is a great board with lots of suport. My dh had a varicocele too and we had it repaired. He had a low sperm count and no motility from it. I was the first to have a baby on the board and just about everyone else has followed suit! LOL I have a 4month old Colton who was born on March 6th. He is the light of my life! jsmith: Sorry you are having the 1st trimester yuckiness! BOO. This too shall pass. Hang in there. Baby RN, I amgladyou had a great fourth! We hadfriendsin from out of town that have a 1 month old...I held her and fell in love. I am so happy for them, but at the same time so jealous. Your words about your experience are definately encouraging. I keep my fingers crossed and pray every day! How was everyone's holiday?

Normal values for 3 hour GTT (100 gm glucose load)
· FBS less than 105 mg/dl
· hour less than 190 mg/dl
· hour less than 165 mg/dl
· hour less than 145 mg/dl
these can be a little higher or lower depending on your lab. hth
