Good morning! How was your night? Did you & DH come up with any celebration ideas? Is AF packing up & leaving? Well, she's on her way to visit me. Whew! I'm spotting now, so it shouldn't be long now at all til she's full flow. Now I can start making arrangements for the surgery. Derr & I are going to stay overnight at this nearby casino resort for his b-day on the 24th. That should be fun. And since we'll be staying at the hotel if I get tired (since it'll be just 1 week since the surgery) I can always go upstairs & take a nap as he plays poker. I'm excited, that should be fun. We have a jacuzzi room reserved.

goodmorning mega! sorry i was off yesterday. it was kinda spur of the moment. dh had the day off so i thought i should take one too and we could spend it together! sounds sweet, but it didnt turn out that way..lol we had a pretty good day but he was very grumpy and i guess that by the end of teh night we were clashing quite a bit :) it all ended ok (i won and he apologized for being a butt) so how was your day yesterday? i am so glad that AF showed up for you and you can keep your plans on like scheduled. it almost makes you feel like you are 1 up on her :) i started my femara yesterday so today is #2. i think that i should be Oing on or around the 20th this month. i am also going to start the cough meds @ sat which is my last femara day. that gives it 9 days to get in my system. i think that should be plenty of time. well i hope that you had a great night and i wil try to check in a couple of times today. i have a meeting but it shouldnt last that long!! talk to you soon!

Good Morning. Yeah, you're right, on paper that is a sweet idea taking a day off to be with your hubby! Sorry it wasn't as sweet as you'd hoped, but you won, that's what matters! LOL! Men, they can deny it all they want, but I firmly believe in Male PMS. Which is only fair, right, if we have to endure that monthly, they should too. :) What did you & your DH do yesterday? Me, I was the biggest slacker yesterday, such not in the working mood. I got my work done, but bare minimum...Yeah, it's a relief that AF came but it's a weird one. No backache yesterday, which is what I typically get, well my back was a little sore but nothing like per my usual but my ovaries were killing me, I'm thinking cysts from the eggs that never released & my flow is lighter than usual but still more than spotting. Weird. It's been so long since my last Provera period, I can't remember what that one was like. Do you typically have odd periods on Provera? So day 2 of Femara, that's good. It sounds like Sat. is the perfect time to start the cough medicine, I'd definitely say 9 days is more than enough time for it to be in your system. I got my FSH test scheduled for tomorrow, I hope they order the results stat so I can find out my level tomorrow afternoon or so. Have a good meeting, talk to ya later!

Happy Friday! Any plans this weekend? Are you working much this weekend? How goes the Femara? This is your 3rd day? I had my FSH/Estrodal blood draw today. Should find out those results this PM. I'm gearing up for a lazy weekend. We're supposed to get some snow here, but it probably won't be too much accumulation. Mom & I are meeting for breakfast Sun, & I'll probably drag Derr out tonite but that's about it. Maybe some shopping tomorrow. Like I said, lazy weekend.

goodmorning! those are the best kinds of weekends to have! sorry i couldnt post yesterday meeting went alittle longer then i had thought. we dont have very many plans either. i only have to work sunday so thats not that bad. i have to go to a baby shower tomorrow so that should be pretty fun. i think that we are going to have a few friends over sat night for a cookout. i am on day 3 of femara so only 2 more to go!!! yeah! when do you find out your results?

I figured that was the case. In my company we usually need meeting to set meetings to set meetings to make a decision. Okay, not really but that's the running joke. That's nice that you're only working on Sunday, so you have most of the weekend free to relax. Yay, you're at the 1/2 way point of the Femara. I should find out the rests of the tests this afternoon, my dr usually ends up calling my home # usually while Derr's napping so he leaves the result on the voice mail. I hope he gives me the actual # instead of just saying it's normal, a little low or whatever. :) Otherwise, I'll find out Monday AM at my pre-op consultation. I've got a huge list of questions for him. I put the list in my purse away from me so I'd quit adding to it! :)

thats funny but i think that it is perfectly normal and healthy to have questions. it is your body after all. are you getting nervous about your appointment next week?

Not really nervous, not yet at any rate. I'll be a wreck next week though, I'm sure. But I looked at the clock today around 11:30 & thought wow, this time next Friday I'll be under the knife. Literally!Then I shuddered a little bit. I write big, so I filled both sides of a piece of paper with my questions, but even writing big I still had like 17 questions & I could keep on going. I'm sure my dr will mentally roll his eyes when he sees my notes. But yeah, it is normal I guess to want to know everthing that will happen & may happen. This will be my 1st real surgery too, except for wisdom teeth, but I don't really count that. What about you?

i had my tonsils out when i was 18 and then when i was 22 i had my thyroid taken out and then hunt was a C section. i guess i am almost a pro at it!! :) i am sure that the doctor is used to all the questions and expects them. is your mom coming to go to or will it be just your dh?

Wow, you have a lot of surgeries. Was it rough having a C-section, recovering from that & having a baby to take care of too? Yeah, I probably can't come up with a question my dr hasn't heard before. Oh, that could be a challenge! No I think it'll just be my hubby with me. I did tell mom last night though that the date had been set. She offered to come up & take care of me too but I told her it's okay, Derr will be there. Truthfully, she has such a low threshold of pain that she deals worse with my pain than I do. Hence why she's barred from my hospital room when I'm giving birth. LOL! Well, I just spoke to my hubby, his parents are coming up this afternoon so that'll be fun. I hope they aren't expecting to see the family room all neat & organized. They know I've been working on it but I think they might think it's further along than it is. LOL! Not that they care. I have the nicest, most mellow in-laws.

Well, my dr just called with the results of the FSH & Estradol (E2) CD3 test. My FSH is fine, 4.1. But my E2 levels are elevated, 121. He likes them to be under 70. But he said that's probably due to the cysts & since my FSH is so good he's not concerned. I guess my results are consistant with PCOS & cysts tend to cause higher E2 levels anyway. Oh well. Have a great weekend!!!

goodmorning mega! how was your doctor appt? i think it was today?

Hi! Yes, I had my appt. today. It went pretty good. We're definitely doing the ovarian drilling with the lap on Friday. They took my blood pressure this AM, as always & usually it's really good but I guess I was nervous b/c it was a little higher than normal. I guess ovarian drilling & injectibles have about the same success rate (60%) & the surgery is covered by my ins. but the drugs aren't so hopefully this will do the trick. I will be going back on clomid for a cycle or two though. I can't wait for this to be over. :) As you pointed out, not long now. My weekend was nice, Derr's parents spent the night Friday & I met my mom for breakfast on Sunday. So that was fun. How was your weekend? You just worked Sunday, right? Did you guys do anything fun with Hunter? Still cold down there? You didn't get any snow, did you?

i am glad that your apt went well. did you get all yoru questions answered? are you feeling alittle better about it? just think this time next week it will be all over!! i am glad that you had a nice relaxing weekend. we did too. the baby shower was fun. she got a ton of stuff so it was nice. i actually had a good time picking out her gifts. i cnat wait till i am shopping for myself though :) we went to church yesyerday and then i came to work. scott and hunt stayed at home and played X box and watched tv, but they did have a fire going and dinner cooked when i got home which was really nice. i finished the femara and started the cough med today. i am going to take it 2 times a day until i O. i am also trying to drink alot of water. hopefully after all we are doing (you more then me) this is our month!! can you start back next month or do you have you have to take a month off?
