i am glad that your apt went well. did you get all yoru questions answered? are you feeling alittle better about it? just think this time next week it will be all over!! i am glad that you had a nice relaxing weekend. we did too. the baby shower was fun. she got a ton of stuff so it was nice. i actually had a good time picking out her gifts. i cnat wait till i am shopping for myself though :) we went to church yesyerday and then i came to work. scott and hunt stayed at home and played X box and watched tv, but they did have a fire going and dinner cooked when i got home which was really nice. i finished the femara and started the cough med today. i am going to take it 2 times a day until i O. i am also trying to drink alot of water. hopefully after all we are doing (you more then me) this is our month!! can you start back next month or do you have you have to take a month off?

Good question. I really don't know when I can start TTC again. I imagine next month, but since I'm doing the lap pretty early this cycle maybe I won't have to wait that long after all. I did get most of my questions answered, some of which I didn't have to ask b/c he explained things pretty well beforehand. And I have a couple brochures too which explain even more. I'm glad you're finished with the Femara & have started the cough meds today. And yes, definitely drink lots of water, that should help a lot too. Wow, so your boys' made dinner for you last night. What a nice treat. Sounds like they had a fun day, playing X Box, making a fire. Yeah, baby shopping is fun, but it is hard not to feel wistful sometimes though, wishing you were buying for your own baby. I'm glad though that you had fun at the shower & it wasn't too hard for you.

i was surprised that it wasnt harder but i actually had a really good time. i am glad that you had your questions answered. it always makes me feel better when i feel more informed. i need to go pick up some more opk's before this weekend. i am off on friday so i guess i will do it then. i was looking at my calendar and i "should" O sometime this weekend. i have to make sure that we BD more this time. i think that 5-6 should be enough with the cough med? what do you think? do you know if you are still doing iui next cycle? are you going to start injectibles?

Mega - February 13

Good, I'm glad you had fun & it was easier than you expected. I haven't had as much of a problem with showers as I'd expected either. I think maybe though you're feeling more positive about your chances now & that's why you were able to go & have fun. Good for you! Oing this weekend, huh?! Good luck. Reserve your energy now & go to it this weekend. :) Yeah, I think you should be fine with doing the cough meds just 5 or 6 days, that should be plenty of time. We'll be doing at least another couple rounds of Clomid post lap, & hopefully that's all it will take. I imagine we'll still be doing IUIs too with DH's morphology issues. Then if the Clomid still doesn't work, injectibles will be the next step. Fingers' crossed though it won't come to that. :)

Good morning. Happy Valentine's Day! Did you start the cough med yesterday? Anything else new with you?

cw - February 14

hey girl. happy V day. i will post more later big boss here today :)

Mega - February 14

Ah, I see! Gotta be busy for the big boss. Good luck! Thanks, happy V-Day to you too.

Mega - February 15

Good Morning! How'd the big boss's visit go yesterday? Is he still there today? Did you get the results yet from your big property walk thru a couple weeks ago? What did you guys do for V Day? Got some BD in, I hope! Nothing doing on my end. Just pre-surgery b/w this morning. I keep reading success stories on OD, I'm starting to get geared up for it. I guess 80% of women O regularly after the OD & 60+% of those then get PG. It's a short term effect, but still...

Mega - February 16

Good morning! I gather work's been keeping you busy lately. Otherwise, how're things going for you? Anything new? Nothing doing with me really. Just gearing up for tomorrow.

hey mega! i completely forgot that i was going to bein a class all day yesterday. are you getting excited about your apt tomorrow? i think that you are going to feel so much better when it is all over. V day was ok we didnt really do alot but it was nice. our walk went REALLY well which was great b/c our last one didnt go that good. whattimeis your surgery tomorrow? we haev been BDing alot alreay. i told DH that we had to take a break until Sat that will be the day of O. i still need to go pick up some opks to start tomorrow.

Mega - February 16

That's great that your walk through went so well! My lap is at 11:30 AM tomorrow but we have to be at the hospital 2 hours early. I keep reading a lot of success stories on another board about women who underwent Ovarian Drilling & said it's the best thing they ever did. One woman did it twice & ended up PG both times. So yes, I'm getting excited. My hubby on the otherhand is getting nervous. If Sat. is O day, maybe you should take a break tonight but then be sure to BD tomorrow night so the sperm will be there waiting for the egg on Sat. I've heard that can help in a lot of cases. How's the cough medicine regiment going? Starting to notice thinner CM yet? How'd your class go yesterday? Your work sends you to a lot of classes, don't they? I think that's great. Are you learning lots of useful things? Or is it just good for a change of scenery?

it was more of a sales rally trying to get everyone pumped up. it was good. we had fun seeing everyone from the different properties. i think that you are going to have good success with having this done. you are going to be happier having more answers. and if it works the firsttime what a bonus!! the cough meds are making me gag!! it is horrible but i am doing it so i hope that it helps!!! what else do you have to do to get ready for it tomorrow?

Mega - February 16

So, are you pumped up now, after the class? :) How many other properties does your mgment. co. own? Are you guys widespread across town? Thanks. I hope so too! I feel pretty confident really, maybe b/c I am probably a little better off to begin with than a lot of other PCOS'ers who had this done & got PG. So maybe I'll have an edge there too. Well, I found out yesterday they'll want me to remove my artifical nails. I've been wearing fake nails since 1999. (Not the same set of course!) I'm a nail biter otherwise. So that'll be weird not having nails. Oh well, it'll just be for a few days. I'm getting them removed tonite, & I'll clean the house a little bit. Probably go grocery shopping too, more convenience foods to have on hand. Otherwise I'm pretty well set for tomorrow. I've found all sorts of tips on the net, so I've followed a lot of those suggestions, like throat lozenges in case they use a breathing tube on me. Little things like that. Less than 24 hours now. Gagging from the cough syrup, that's not fun. Have you tried taking it with water? Maybe that'll help a little with the gag factor? Well, you said it helped with Hunter, right? I really hope it works again soon for ya.

cw - February 16

i have fake nails too! and i think that i have had them longer then that..lol i dont know how i wwould survive without them at this point. that is a great idea to mix water with the cough meds. i never noticed how nasty it was! my company owns alot of properties around the us. its called camden. i think we are the 5th largest multifamily companies around. we just had drama over here today! someone called and said their EX might have taken sleeping pills so we had to call the fire dept and the police and have them break down the door!! he was ok so i guess that is all that matters, DRAMA and we think we have problems!

Mega - February 16

Wow, you did have your own soap opera over there today. At least the guy ended up being okay. How scary though. Why'd she suspect he OD on sleeping pills I wonder? Maybe he just tried to scare her, guilt her. My mom thinks I'm crazy, all the $ I spend a month on the nails, but I love them. I keep my nails short & usually have a French manicure so I think they're pretty natural looking really but so worth the cost & upkeep. It'll be weird, I'll feel naked w/out them. LOL! So, then if you've worn them longer than I have, & with all the surgeries you've had, you never had to remove them for the C section or anything? I guess each hospital has its own policy. Good, I hope the water helps dilute things enough for you. Plus water is supposed to be good for thining out CM too.

cw - February 16

i know what you mean. i actually havent ever had to remove them just take off the nail polish. but look at it like this you can get a new set that will look fabulous!!! yes that was quite dramatic... but it all turned out ok. are you only taking off tomorrow or monday too?
