gmh....My doctor is in downtown Royal Oak (by the police station and farmers market.) Her name is Andrea Schiller and is an OBGYN. I had never met her before I miscarried-but she is great. I am definatly going to stick with her. She is very professional, optimistic, and down to earth. I walked into her office weepie and upset, but left feeling reassured and hopeful! She is part of Beaumont Hospital.

gmh, hi! I too heard good things about the doctor you are seeing. I looked in to him but ended up not going w/ them because the drive was so much further for me w/ the amount of times I'm told you have to go during the process. As for your other questions, I am not knowledgeable about those issues (I have not been put on injectibles as of yet) so hopefully someone else on the thread can help you. Good luck! tk07, that is crazy how close we are to each other. Hopefully you will not need the assistance of an RE and it works for you this time! Welcome trailrunner, I'm from Commerce Township but grew up in Sterling Heights which is very close to you. What happened to hansbaby? She is the one that started this terrific thread. Just saying hi ladies.....I'm from Lenawee county, near Adrian, which is by the Ohio border. I would say you all are about 1 1/2 or 2 hours from me. I'm 37, have a 7 y/o boy and 8 m/c's tagging along behind me. I'm very near the end of ttc as it's been a long and difficult journey, as you can imagine. Am looking into foster/adoption processes soon. Good luck to all of you.

Hi guys! I'm from Ann Arbor, MI. My story is that my hd and I have been ttc for 13 months and no luck so far. We did all the tests possible and got unexplained infertility as a reason. Good, but also frustrating... I'm starting on femara on Wed (3-7, 5 mg), This is my first time taking anything and I'm pretty scared but VERY HOPEFUL! I really hope that it works right away since there is nothing "wrong" with us. I'm going on the 14th day for a u/s to check my follicles and if they are good I'll get a ovidrel shop. Hope to hear from you guys soon and good luck to all!

Hey all you Mich. Gals. Hope you all have a good cycle... Someone has too... I just got the no go for the second time... Not good blood work result levels are off... They don't know why so going back for more blood work this week..... Just wanted to know if anyone had a RE in Oakland County Area... I live in Troy and travel 30-45 min. one way to my RE but after 2.5yr of ttc and having to go more often the drive is really getting tuff with work. So thinking of changing don't really want to but figure the driving and work stress is only going to get worse .... thank for any help and good baby dust to all.

Hello guys! Tanner789 and chele how are you guys doing today? I start 5mg of femara tomorrow. I'm kinda nervous and excited because I've never taken anything for IF before. Tanner789, unexplained infertility is when all the tests are good but a couple hasn't been able to conceive after 1 year of trying. I did the hsg and everything was fine. This test is a little painful, but they say that it helps because it clears the tubes of any little thing that it might be in there. They also make sure everything is ok in your uterus. Good luck! I have always ovulated on my own between the 14-16th. I can even feel when I'm ovulating, I get the raw egg white CM (sorry...TMI) and everything just like a textbook says it's supposed to happen. My hd exams were all fine, good, normal leves, hormones are good in both of us, thyroide is also normal. To sum up, everything is fine but no baby yet. I'm 25, my hd is 29. My re gave me femara because he said that pretty much anything should work, he just doesn't know how much of it I 'll need since apparently I don't even need aything because there is nothing "wrong". So it may take a couple of rounds, but it should work soon. I know it wil happen eventually, but you never expect that it will take so long especially when all your friends got pregnant the month after they went off birth control. Tanner789, femara is similar to clomid, but they say it has less side effects and it helps the build up of the uterus lining which is the downside of clomid because it actually makes the lining thinner. Chele I'm going for my u/s on the 11/19 which will be the 14th day of my cycle. This is usually the time that I ovulate. I just hope that femara won't make me ovulate sooner and I'll miss seeing my follies on the u/s. I wanna make sure that my ovaries are producing good size eggs. That's it for today. I'm looking forward to no side effects from femara and lots of positive energy and high hopes for this cycle. We are really hoping for a Christmas miracle. That would be just amazing. Good luck to you all. Tanner789, hopefully this ovulation will come soon and you can make it work. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Take care!

babybaby
i wish you the best of luck thanks for all the info, maybe i will suggest to my re femera instead of doing clomid again. clomid didnt cause the bad moods liek some, just hot flashes, but it obviously didnt work for me. i feel for you case if everything is fine there must be a reason that it may not be your time yet, i dont know why that would be, but there is a reason. it is very hard to see everyone around you get preggers except for you, i have at least a dozen people surrounding me and its very hard. let us know about ur u/s results

chele - November 9

gmh, his name is Dr. Michael Mersol-Barg. He is in 300 Park Street, Suite 460, Birmingham MI, 48009. (248) 593-6990 If you google his name you will find his website. You will also find testimonials. He was so nice, 1st doctor I have ever gone to that finished explaining everything (very well I may add) and at the end before introuducing me to his staff, gave me a hug and said "We will do this". He is very nice and make's you feel like your not just another patient. Babybaby, Hi there! I'm fine, been fighting a cold but other then that just waiting to get af (hopefully on the 21st) so that I can do the u/s and make sure the cysts are gone and hopefully be on our way to the IUI process again. I'm excited for you, and hopefully come the 19th things will be looking great!!!! Please keep me posted, and YES that would be a wonderful Christmas gift!!! My dh b-day is in January so I am hoping for such a wonderful b-day gift!!! Hi Mellissam, wow this place you are going to sounds great! I am not too familiar w/ IVF as I have just done and IUI once, but from everything I hear, I believe it's typically $10,000 just for 1. Is this place out of U of M? Baby Dust to Everyone!!!
