stepmommel i think that the weight gain depends on the person i took clomid last month and didnt gain any weight from it i didnt take it this month but i will take it again next month so i think as long as you exercise and eat right you will be alright those meth heads the woman was my ex boyfirends wife..lol..needless to say they are now divorced and his 2 sons and her son they are nothing but a bunch of dopeheads and im not gonna put up with them here for 1 i dont do drugs, i dont drink so there is no reason for them to be here they got the message loud and clear..lol..talk to you girls later

I live in Sheboygan, WI, and our town is pretty easy going. Obviously there is crime, but nothing bad. I think we maybe have on average 2 murder/ homicides per year...other than that its the little stuff..bar fights, domestics, you know. I really am trying to gain weight, but its just not happening!! I will definately start to hit the gym and bulk up a little bit though.....that I will definately need!! So if you get preggers, do they just put ;you on like desk duty at the PD or something? None of the women in our town have ever been preggers while on the force, so I have no clue!! Anyways, it finally rained a little bit up here, a cold front came through and cooled us off a lot, THANK GOODNESS!! I was so crabby today from the heat it was unreal! I feel sorry for my dh cuz he had to put up with me all day!!

Hey Slow, I'm glad you got the point across to them. You don't need those people around you. Tammy - Whenever I finally get pregnant, I will be put on light duty, working with the detectives. I'll work on cases and file them, grand jury, etc... I'm looking forward to that because I will be Mon - Fri 8a-5p w/ weekends off!!! lol Right now I love my days off - we work 12hr shifts with 3 on 3 off one week, then 4 on 4 off the next. But I only get every other Sat. off and work every Sunday. I miss the weekends! I'd rather wake up at 7a, then 4a like I do now!! It must be nice to have 2 homicides year! We have them every day it seems like! I figured we'd run out of people...lol Well, to update on my situation. I think AF will be showing up today. I am starting to get cramps (hope they go away because I have to testify in court today and I will be in a bad mood with cramps...lol) and getting a headache. AF usually triggers my migraines. I really don't want her to show up but I am pretty sure it will be soon! I have already seen some light spotting....sorry TMI. Have a great days ladies! It's gonna be 96-100 here today and the humidity sucks!!

Well good morning ladies! Otilia, today's the big day, huh!? Let us know how it goes when you get back from the doc. I"m so excited for you that the wait is finally over! Well, FF finally told me I didn't O after all which is a huge relief because now I can start my meds with no worries. I'll start the provera today! WOO HOOO! Woke up with a killer bladder infection though - that REALLY sucks! I'm prone to them and out of my meds.... UGH!!!! Anyway, it's back to work after a nice loooong relaxing 10 days off! It's gonna suck being back, but at least all the catching up will make my day fly, and hopefully take my mind off the infection! Thanks for setting my mind at ease slowpoke... can't stand to gain any more before getting pg! Melissa, you back now?? How was FLA?

Hey Ladies. IM BACK!!! I missed emailing you guys!! Well i'm cd 7 today, my period only lasted 2 days and it was early remember when i got it. Anyways have to try another natural cycle since I missed the time to take the meds!! Florida was awesome - I had a great time at the wedding and lots of sunshine!! I head to Atlanta next week for 4 days but should have itnernet access there!!! TAMMY - good luck in the 2ww, hope you had lots of bding!!!! MANYIKA - I used repronex for 2 cycles. You are on cycle #3 on clomid right? Baby dust to you - have you ovulated yet this month? OTILIA - How was your dr. appt??? STEP - what dosage of clomid will you be trying?? Hi cmelissa...my Clomid cycle #3 didn't work for me. I didn't ovulate and still not sure when af would come. I have an appt with my RE on July 25, hopefully af would come before then so I wouldn't have to use Provera to induce it. He will probably increase my dose or try something else. Being in this forum really helped a lot bec. I gained knowledge from all of you and the experiences you've been sharing. I would be able to ask pertinent questions to my RE instead of just waiting for his recommendations. Stepmommel...I live between National City and Spring Valley. You said you were born in La Mesa right? Your hometown isn't that far from here. Well you ladies have been talking about your jobs. I'm not a cop like Jaqi but there are times when I have to deal with inmates too. But in situations when they are helpless and shackled in bed. I'm a med/surg nurse and I work on the night shift. DH works the night shift too, so we bd during the day. As you said, sometimes it's becoming a job when you're ttc. You just got to do it when you have to. It can be stressful too when time is involved. I had IUI done with my 2 cycles of Clomid and poor dh had to provide the specimen in a cup which I know must be hard for him when I kept reminding him about the appt time. It's just too bad that both failed :(

Well ladies, I don't know about the tww for me...I don't think I am going to get my hopes up....We only got to BD twice....I guess it's better than nothing and we still have a chance, but I'm not going to get myself all flustered this month like I normally do, because I don't think we bd'd enough..Who knows though. Today was such a SLOW day at work, I was so bored!! I hate bartending when it's slow...All you do is stand around!!! Jaqi, don't the schedules suck? Our department works 5 on, 3 off...During their 5 on, they have one long night where they work a 12 hour day....It just sucks when we are trying to find a babysitter because the schedule is always different.. Some weeks we need someone all 5 days, and the next week we may only need someone once or not at all...It just gets really frustrating sometimes. Plus my dh just moved to first shift this year, so he has the lowest seniority on his shift so he gets held over all the time..Its to be expected, but there have been times where he should have been home at 3:30, and he didn't get home until 1:00a.m......it's just really frustrating sometimes. I'm sure you know what I mean...That's why I like our town and would love to work here..There isn't a high crime rate (as far as serious stuff goes)...Now if we lived in a different city I might reconsider wanting to become a cop...but for now, I'll stick with it!! Anyway ladies...I better get my little butt to bed....I wasn't feeling the greatest before (bad belly ache), so I thought I would hop on here quick and see if it went away... it didn't..but I need to get some zzzz's! Busy day tomorrow. Oh yeah, one more thing I wanted to share..My son was a little brat today! I stuck him in his play room so I could take the puppy out to go potty, and I came back in, and he had taked his box of wipes (brand new box, COMPLETELY full, and taked each wipe out one by one and piled them up next to him...I walk in there and there he is sitting next to this huge mound of wipes just smiling away at me.....What a little terd! At least he tried to help me put them away! It was so cute!!

Ok....I think I am supposed to have gotten AF yesterday or today. I hope Clomid hasn't messed the cycle up. I haven't had ANY AF cramps, just the migraines I normally get. I had some pink spotting yesterday and this looks like it will continue today. I guess AF is jacking with me and teasing me....lol I guess if I don't get it by the end of the week, I will test but don't want to get my hopes up. I know these meds and stress can do funny things to your body and throw it out of whack! Tammy, yeah we work 12hr shifts every day. It pays off when the days off come, but otherwise they make it soooo long! I work 6a-6p. I get up at 430a, and have to be at work by 545a. I am supposed to get off work at 6p, but there have been times where I've gotten off at 1a too! So far, I've had to work a couple 24hr shifts. I always tell them they need to hire more people because it's too dangerous to work that many hours in this job, hell....any job! I feel for doctors and nurses who have to pull those hours! Melissa, I'll be taking 50 mg of Clomid for 5 days, and will also take Estrodiol (sp?) for days 1-15. I'm now on my 2nd day of Provera... so exciting! Otilia, where are you? I'm so curious how your doctor's appt went! Did you have good news? Manyika, I know where you're coming from regarding your dh having to give a sample. My doc advised one, but my DH (and I) think the problem isn't his since he was always Mr.Fertility in the past, he never gave a sample this time around. We'll see how the Clomid works, and will give a sample if absolutely necessary, but it's just such an unromantic thing for him, and an embarassing thing for whoever brings the cup in, we'd rather just wait it out. Tammy, did you take a picture of your son with his mess? that could've been a real Kodak moment! Hope your tummy feels better! Slowpoke, did you talk to your doctor yet? What's the latest there? MANYIKA - how do you know if you didnt ovulate on the clomid? Dont they give you the trigger shot? What dosage of clomid were you taking?? TAMMY - wish you could make me some apple martinis - love them, haha!! Don't give up hope - it seems you can get pregnant so thats a great thing - I'm still waiting for that BFP since I have never seen one as of yet :(. I'm cd 8 today so probably won't ovulate till late like last cycle I ovulated cd 22. Thats too funny about your son - kids do the darndest things, haha! JAQI - clomid made my cycles a little longer, these meds all mess with our bodies. STEP - when do you start taking the clomid then?? Hi Otilia and Slowpoke!!

Hey guys, I knew I would jinx myself! About an hour after my post this morning, I got AF! I started getting cramps after my headache went away. I never spotted before AF came. Lately, I have. Which is ok, as long as it's normal. So, now I need to call the dr. and do this all over again! Hopefully this time my Left side will make the follies! They might have us try IUI if we can afford it.

Hi laies...Oh yea, I took a few pictures.....it was too cute! He just sat there with his little shit grin and pointed at the pile and says "wha dah?" Which is his "Whats that?" It was so cute! You want to me mad because you know you have to sit there and fold everyone and put them back, but you can't be when it is something like that! (cmelissa)---you would like our martini of the month....it's called a Desperate Housewives martini..it is so good! It tastes like chocolate milk!!(which could be dangerous), but its good!! Let us know how it goes at the doc Tammy! Melissa, I start the Clomid on CD3, so it all depends on when Provera brings AF on. Believe me though, I'll keep you all posted! I thought the day for Clomid would never get here! By the way, what exactly is that "trigger shot" I keep hearing about? Does everyone on Clomid get one? What does it do, and when is it needed? Sorry to hear about AF Jaqi. I'm glad you didn't get your hopes up too high though. Amazing how your body will play tricks on you like that. Maybe next month, huh?

Hey Step, the trigger shot is to make you ovulate. It's an HCG shot. It's not bad at all. I take mine in the stomach. Yeah, AF sucks!!!!!!!!!!

Jaqi, sorry to hear about AF, that sucks......But I'm sure I will be there with ya next week!! The doctors visit went good........They told me I didn't have any masses that I needed to worry about. I have a cycst, but it is nothing serious. he said it could go away on its own, and if it doesn't they can go in and drain it....yuck!! HHHMMMMM the chocolate Martini aka....Desperate Housewives Martini......All it is is white creme de cacao, Three Olives Chocolate Vodka, and creme. Then you take chocolate sauce and drizzle it in the glass to make it look pretty......It is so good!! Well I better get to bed so I can get some luvin in yet tonight!
