did my 2nd iui last month but took a break this month... will try the 3rd next month... girls it's crazy - roller coaster- emotional... but with the girls on this forum, it's oh so much easier!! I thought it was emotional trying on my own... but with the iui - it's like it gives you false hope... like you KNOW that the sperm got up there - no questions... but it's still not working!! VERY frustrating!! - I wish you all the best - prayers are sent for your success!!! |

Did my first IUI, didn't work. Very upset, but I see that I'm not alone. Going for the second one. Don't want to take a break. Aunemom2b good luck with your third one. I hope it works. |

HEY!! - we just keep trying until it works - RIGHT!!?? (my doctor had 11 iui before it worked - yes - ELEVEN!! 11 IUIs oh my god. Well I guess it was worth it :) My max is 6 and then I'm going to go for IVF. My first IUI was natural, the second one should be sometime next week also will be natural. If the second one won't work, the third one will be with injectables. |

Yes, natural meaning no medication/drugs. Both me and my husband are healthy, and the doctor couldn't come up with any answers to why we can't get pregnant. So we decided to try first IUI with no medication, because I had plenty of follicles and they were matured. But if two times and no luck,... then we will give medicine a try. |

Hi ladies, I am new to this forum. I will be doing my first IUI this cycle. I've been on clomid for three months and no luck yet, so the doctor wants me to do the clomid, hcg and then the IUI. My DH and I have been trying to have a baby for about a year now. I'm almost 30 and he's almost 28. It makes me happy to hear that IUI have worked for some people. I have hope that one day I will be blessed with a baby. Good luck to everyone...baby dust. I will give you the updates after my IUI. Wish me luck! |

Hi babysophy and welcome to the forum Me and my husband are trying to get pregant for 5 years now. First IUI didn't work, but it does work for some from the first time. I wish you all the luck. I did my first IUI on 10/5 but it didn't work. Going for my second one next Friday or Saturday (10/30, 31). Keep us posted how it goes. Good luck. |

Hey everyone, I'm a newbie to the site but like everyone else TTC. DH and I have been trying for over a year but were not trying to prevent preggo in the past. I had my first IUI this Wed and did the trigger on Mon night. My DH sperm count was 26 mil and the RE and Nurse say anything over 3 mil is good. Motility was 99%, I had 8 follicles and over half were of mature size which is why I was told to reduce the normal doasge of the HCG to prevent multiples. I am now 1dpiui and DH are I are praying like crazy and have fingers crossed that we get a BFP. Congrats to all of you that have succeeded in your journey and those who are trying keep the faith. Will keep you posted. Lots of baby dust to us all. |

Thanks for the luck olgakay0518, DH and I need all we can get. Seems as though we may not be to far apart from each other in this month's IUI. Did you have the procedure yet? |

blackbarbie29, I'm going for my day 10 bloodwork and ultrasound on the 28. I'm doing natural IUI, so no medicine or shuts. Hopefully somewhere around halloween should be my second IUI. I'll keep you posted. |

olgakay0518 I wish you good luck on the next one. I am schedule for my first IUI tomorrow. I met with the doctor yesterday and my husband gave me the hcg shot last night. I have one folicle on my left ovary (the good side) and two folicles on the right side (the bad side, my tube is closed). I really wish and pray that this will work. Wish for the best for everyone. |
