Can't Get Pregnant! Help!

Hi Everyone!
I have been trying to get pregnant since April which was also when I went into my doctor's for my physical and got the green light from my doctor. It's November now and no luck! Both me and my husband are both healthy and a fairly young couple, both 29. So I have been contemplating maybe going back into the doctor's and asking her to put me on some fertility drugs. What kind of tests will the doctor need to run on me in order to prescribe me fertility drugs? I am new to all this. None of my friends are having babies yet and my parents got pregnant the old school way. So this ordeal has been very stressful on me and my husband. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
