Thats funny W4MA...I guess it's only been a few weeks since I've taken them, so I'll give it some more time for that side effect to kick in!! lol Hopefully just in time for bd season!!! I see my acupuncturist tonight so hopefully he'll help with with my energy levels. Although thats really the least of my concerns- I want this cyst gone!!! Hi Creville, I have been ttc for the same amount of time. I got pg 2 times out of 3 cycles on clomid, but unfortunately mc both. I hope you have a better experience and all the best. I'm not sure what metformin is for? And yes...we will all be great mothers one day and will never take our pg for granted!!! xxxx

Welcome Creville. I have no experience with clomid or metform....but I have been ttc unofficially for 5 months. Hi Angle and Roxy....I decided to call my doc and set up an appointment to talk about progesterone. My periods have been real short lately and this might be something my doc wants to know as well. I've only had AF for 3 days. Two of those days have been pretty light. I now get what looks like white cervical mucus by day 3 or 4. Enough to fill a tampon. This doesn't seem right. It started after I got off the pill. But I guess doc can tell me if I am abnormal with my cycle and my 9 day leutal phase.It's really hard not to stress myself out. Which I am sure only makes things worse. Its just I want to SCREAM because I want a baby SO BAD! I feel like I'm just going to burst!

Hi diem, I also sometimes have short cycles. This past time AF only lasted for 4 days. AF use to come and go like 3 days skip 2 and back for 2. I asked my doc about that and she said it was norm. as long as it did it within a timely matter. Well I hope everything is ok with you and good luck this month. Well, I have a doctors appointment for next week. In the mean time I will be charting away... AF actually stopped today. I wish you all the best of luck. I hope and pray that one of us will get that BFP this month. (fingers crossed!)

OK...so tomorrow my sis in law is announcing if she has a boy or girl. How am I going to survive? No one knows that we are ttc. My in-laws got pg first try.....figures! Since we didn't......we've been waiting to announce the ttc thing. Since we're still trying we've decided not to tell everyone because we feel like we pressure ourselves enough....we don't need their questions and pressure. But how am I going to put on a happy face tommorow. This sucks :(
We're gong to lunch then to see "The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" movie. I love Will Ferell so at least he can put a smile on my face. My sis in law is 35 and has wanted kids for a while....I really feel happy for her and the family....just sooooooo jealous. It's hard to pretend.

Hello All, I would also like to join this group. I am 29(no children) DH is 41(3children) We have been ttc over a 1yr natural. Now I have a RE and do for a HSG on the 10th of this month. I am on cd5 now that it is almost 2 am. I took provera 10 days to start AF now I am on Clomid cd2-6 and AF is still going strong, and I hope she leave soon>>

Hi Tynadu! It sounds like our cycles are the same. How long do your cycles usually last? Mine are 29 to 31 days long. A strong AF is never fun. I have been having light ones lately which kind of scares me. But I am seeing the Doc on Tuesday.

Hi everyone. Welcome Tynadu. I hope you have success this month. Is this your first try on clomid? Diem, you'll be bd'ing soon, i really hope this is your month! I'm still waiting for af. I've read that it can take a while to come back after d&c, but it will be 6 wks at the end of the week. I hope it hurries up. I keep doing preg tests just in case, but all neg. If we get the all clear at the docs on Friday, we both want to ttc as soon as we get into our next cycle. I got really emotional about it all last night. Its funny how it can hit you some days, just when you think you're doing ok. Anyway, hi to everyone else...hope we have some good news on this thread really soon!!! xxxx

Roxy, I'm sorry to hear you had a rough night. It will be your turn soon I can feel it. After the doc's clearance you will get lucky! I'm usually in bed by now since I have to work tomorrow......but wouldn't you know that our air conditioning stopped working today! And I live in FLORIDA! DH will call the AC guy tomorrow. But in the mean time I am going to sweat all night. This will probably mess with my bbt don't you think? Hopefully we can get it fixed within the next day or two. I guess it will actually be nice going to work since they usually have the AC cranked on high and I am usually cold LOL!

Hello All, Diem I have no idea how long my cycles are AF was not here for the last 2years until I took my provera. I just started charting and my RE said I was not O'ing @ all. That is why I am on the Clomid now. Roxy, I did take Clomid for 2 months back in 2000 with my old BF it didn't work, well my OB never checked! I think I may have had an early m/c after that 2nd round. I'm not sure because I never went to the Dr but it felt like someone was trying to gut me. I was taking so many pills OMG I was in the bed for a week druged up on anything i could find to pop in my mouth. It was the worst pain I ever felt in my life.

Well, I THOUGHT I had a dr. apt today but I wrote the wrong day down on the calendar. It's tomorrow. I took an opk test yesterday and it showed a surge. Dh and I bd'd today...as he just got off work this morning. He is a firefighter and works 24 hour shifts. It's only CD 9 for me. Last month I surged twice and think I o'd on the second surge which was on CD 20. We bd'd just in case. I will keep recording my temps to see if I ovulated or not.
My AC is back on.....YAY...Thank God. Florida heat is brutal. Waiting...and Roxy...what cycle day are you one? Are you in the tww? Roxy...did you say if you bd'd this month?

Hi girls! Diem, I'm so glad you got your ac back on! And how exciting that you got +opk. Lots of bding for you!!! lol I have no idea what cycle day I'm on coz I still haven't gotten af yet since d&c. It'll be 6 weeks on Saturday. I think I may have ovulated around 3 weeks post, but not 100% sure. We're supposed to be tta, but haven't done a great job of it!!! So thats why I've been doing the odd preg test, just in case. So I've really got no idea whats going on...arggghh. It's very frustrating! Tynadu, I really hope clomid works for you this time! Roxy....I wonder what is the typical/ average time that someone ovulates after a d& c. Do you know? Is there a "typical" time period or is it different for everyone.

Diem, I think everyone is different. Some people ovulate exactly 14 days after dc as though it was cd 1. Others take up to 6 weeks to get af. I'm doubting now whether I did ovulate at 3 weeks post as I should have gotten af by now. I've been having slight cramps for about 2 weeks now, but its just teasing me. Oh well, I can't do anything but wait...And I can't help but test coz this is how I was in my last pregnancy. Not that I want to see two lines-I'd be petrified seeing as though the doc wanted us to wait awhile before ttc. But I'm sure its just my hormones waiting to sort themselves out before af comes. Tynadu, I hope af finishes soon. I'm sure it will. And all the best with hsg. What does it involve?...xxx
