Hey Ladies - Sorry i was off work the last 2 days and am always super busy on my days off so havent had time to check in!! Anyways I had a follie check yesterday and another one today! Yesterday my lining was around 12.4 so thats really good and my e2 around 1216 and lots of follies - my nurse said i'm doing much better reacting to the meds this cycle so thats great! Today I had 12 follies that were bigger ones and then 13 under 10, i go back in tomorrow for another follie check. Looks like my ER will be on the 6th or 7th now! Waiting to hear back my e2 levels today! How is everyone else doing - fill me in did I miss anything? Also i went to the acupunture appt thursday, unsure if i liked it or not?? Also i found out my insurance doesnt cover it now so it would be really expensive to continue going. So what's everyone have planned for the holidays and new years???? Emaan so sorry your mom was robbed - what a horrible experience that must have been - she should definitely call the police! Step i wish i checked my email yesterday so i could have recorded the Ellen show - darn it! Glad you had a blast!!! Otilia how are you doing??

Hey Ladies - well my e2 levels were 1700 yesterday and i had another follie check today - they measured 15 and then i had several under 10 still. I kind of had a break down today just b/c i'm anxious this might not work. They said my levels are much better this cycle ,etc.. but they will probably retrieve around 8 or so but that makes me nervous b/c last time they retrieved 7 and only one made it to the blastocyst stage. I just really want to have 2 to transfer this time. My ER is going to be on Wednesday most likely now so i will be off on wed/thurs. I feel like my follies are slow growers too but my nurse said they are normal. Does anyone know what the average # they usually retrieve is for mature follies?? I definitely think my hormones are starting to catch up with me now have been pretty irritable lately and more emotional, ugh!! I just want this so badly and now having negative thoughts - gosh the emotional roller coaster right! I just pray my follies fertilize and i have at least 2 to put in!! ! My lining today was around 11.2. Slow i thought with the increased meds id have a lot more to retireve but who knows now? Maybe they will be better quality if anything! Well sorry i had to vent - its just one of those days! You guys are great!

melissa- i am so sorry that you are bummed. i am sure that the quality of your eggs will be better and from your levels it looks like your hormones are starting to catch up so that is a +. i will pray that you have some good embies this time and that you have some good implanters too. well take care all and good luck.

EMAAN...sorry to hear about your mom, what do you think about giving her an alarm system for Christmas. She doesn't need this kind of stress at her age...no one does!
As for me, I started spotting this weekend and have been spotting (blackish/redish) sorry if TMI (I guess everyone here is already accustomed to that, huh). I called my OBGYN because I was scheduled to have a pap done tomorrow. Guess what they told me, if it's just spotting I could come in anyway! Can you believe that? It's practically gone now but I am way too embarresed and think I should just reschedule (hate it cuz it'll be about late January when they can see me). Have any of you had this? I got AF after my longest cycle with 150mg of Clomid (cd41) and have been spotting a little (very little blk/redish). Who knows what this could be?

Well i had another follie check this morning and she measured 18, i'm hoping i at least have 2 to transfer this cycle!! Because out of the 18 i'm sure not all are mature. I take my trigger shot tonight at 830pm and then my ER is on Wednesday!! Looks like the ET will be on Sunday or Monday depending on how quickly my embies divide!! lalilove thanks for the well wishes!!! Could the spotting be a light period?? Slow do you know what the e2 levels are supposed to be?

melissa here is some info for you on e2 levels.sorry that it is so long, but i wanted to give you some good info on it. i think that your levels are real good. if they were too high or to low i think that the doc would have said, the levels really depends on how many follicles are developing and all that. anyway good luck. i hope that those follicels grow and then when they get fertilized i hope that those embies are the fastest growers that your doc has ever seen. good luck take care - extremely high levels of E2 (over 3000 pg/ml)-the ovarian response was evaluated in terms of E2 levels on the day of hCG injection, and 36 hours later at egg retrieval (23). Low responders, medium responders and high responders were those with E2 levels of <800 pg/ml, 800-1500 pg/ml and >1500 pg/ml respectively on the day of hCG injection or <400 pg/ml, 400-1000 pg/ml and >1000 pg/ml respectively at egg retrieval. There were no differences between the three groups in respect to development of mature oocytes and rapidly cleaving embryos. The pregnancy rate in the low responding group, however, was significantly lower than in the other two groups, despite replacement of an equivalent number of oocytes and cleaving embryos.In the US most clinics are looking for 150-300 units of Estradiol for every mature follicle. In Canada, clinics like to see between 750 and 1,000 units of Estradiol for every mature follicle. A mature follicle is usually between 18 and 23 mm. The clinic tries to do the retrieval when the most number of mature follicles fall within range. This may mean that some eggs may be too mature and some too immature to fertilize.
Pregnancies in the J group were achieved over a wide range of dominant follicle diameters (13 to 25 mm), E2 levels (198 to 1,700 pg/mL; conversion factor to SI units, 3.671), and E2 level per follicle > or = 12 mm (24 to 225 pg/mL per follicle) recorded on the day of hCG administration. CONCLUSION: Synchronized administration of hCG in accordance with endogenous LH rises produces a high rate of pregnancy in IVF.
For example, a level of 1500 pg/ml on day eleven might be considered acceptable in a stimulated cycle, as reflecting the presence of a reasonable number of mature folliclesA Rough Rule-of-Thumb for Good Estradiol Levels.
Exact figures are not possible. As a rough guide, however, a level in the range of 150 to 500 pg/ml is generally considered reasonable for the eighth day of a stimulated cycle. An approximate doubling of this level every 48 hours is considered promising, as a sign of continued good follicle development.

Slow thanks so much for the info i do seem to be okay then in regards to my levels. Last cyle my embies grew a little slow after ER so thats why i'm worried today! I just pray since my e2 levels are better this cycle it means the embies will grow better too! I will try posting later tomorrow. I will probably sleep most of the day but will post when i wake up! Then i get daily reports on my embies - thats the nerve racking part b/c you dont want to hear some have stopped growing,etc.. however there are always a few that stop. Just need 2 blastocysts!!

I think I'm also trying not to get too hopeful like I usually do, especially this month since I had the HSG and we've been bding more than usual. It's the perfect setup for thinking I'm pg for no reason at all, so... Anyway, Melissa I'm so excited for you, what's the news this morning on the embies? Good news I hope? You're in my prayers. welcome Star!! Step sounds like you have all angles covered!! Praying a BFP for you!! Slow thanks for the well wishes. Well the ER went well this morning - i love being under b/c you feel no pain, haha! I woke up out of it a lot sooner than previous time. Well to say the least I'm a bit upset and disaapointed. They only retrieved 7 eggs, same as last time - i just dont get it b/c i had more measured follicles this time plus the increased meds - i just feel like something is wrong with me. And with 7 last cycle i ended up with 6 mature and only 1 blastocyst. So now i get to wait for that call tomorrow letting me know how many mature and how many fertilized. I just really wanted 2 blastocysts to transfer this cycle and with this # i dont feel very positive about that happening. On average if you have 10 retrieved you're lucky to get 2 blastocysts. Anyways i slept all day and have mild cramping right now. My ET is scheduled for Monday. The dr. said i could have a drink between then if i desire! Please pray all my eggies fertilize! I hate the stress of the daily embie updates! I also have to start my pio shots tomorrow - those are the absolute worst!! Well going to rest up some!
