hey all sry to hear about a/f showing up i was praying for all of us i still am having no signs except i have no cm now i havent had any cramps or anything monday will be 10 dp iui so i might test then i dont know what do you girls think maybe i will wait until wednesday and test since that will be 12 d piui well good luck to all and keep your chins up i am here for all you girls if you want to vent take care all

I know its hard girls. Lets try to hang in there and test only when we really need to. I always waste tests every month thinking that it will show up positive and it doesn't. I made an appt. with a RE on July 13th. So if af comes than at least I will be ready for the doc real soon. hang in there. talk soon.

i got back my progesterone test results. my doctor says for O, it has to be 10 and above, mine was 12.8. so i Ovulated. woohooo!!!!

O.K. Ladies. I may sound dumb, but what exactly is an IUI. What do they all do? I hear everyone talking about it, and I have no clue what it is. I want to ask my doc. about it, but I would like to know what I am talking about first. Is it something you have to se an RE for? Or is it something you can do w/ your regular ob? Fill me in ladies!! The brown discharge could be the begining of AF, or implantation. Thats how my AF just started. It wasn't full blown until this morning when I woke up. yesterday was just spotting. YUK!!

Tammy -an IUI is intrauterine insemination it is where they put a small cathader up into your uterus and they inject washed sperm into it it doesnt hurt at all and in fact i had absolutely no cramping or anything they time it with your ovulation to increase you chances of getting pregnant my doc actually put a pack (he said it was like a stoper to keep the sperm in the uterus) in my uterus i had to leave it in for 6 hours and it had a string like a tampon to pull it out he said to make sure the sperm doesnt come back out it was kind of like a pap not bad at all they didnt give me an hcg shot like most women because i live too far away and would constantly be driving to their office for follicle monitoring and i live 2 and a half hours away so thats why they didnt do hcg trigger shot i hope i explained that good cause i am half asleep it is midnight here and i am searching the web lol well good luck you may want to ask about it my ob/gyn didnt do iui's so i h ad to go to fertility specialist

Well girlies, 1st IUI is a wash! I got the dreaded a/f this morning. Actually I knew that it was coming as of lastnight. So I went ahead and took a preggo test and it was a bfn. No surprise there! I just called my RE's assistant and left her a message to call me with the next step. I suppose they are going to call me in the clomid and set up appts. for u/s. I'll let ya know what she says. Sorry af showed whynotme. I am sure mine will be coming in about 5 more days. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I am really hoping that the RE will be able to help me when I go see him in July. I'll keep you all posted.

Sorry to hear about AF coming. I am in the same boat. I am on CD 2 :( I guess we just try again this month right. So does your regular OB do the IUI or do you have to see a specialist? What are the trigger shots and If I was thinking of doing it, do they start doing stuff to you before you O? AHHHH, so hubby would have to give them a "sperm sample"? I don't think he would be too happy about that one!!

Tammy the trigger shot i think makes your eggs drop but if you get it and took a pregnancy test before like 14 days you would get a + because it is the pregnancy hormone my regular ob/gyn wouldnt do it because he said he didnt go to school for that but he went to school with a doc that did do iui's so you may ask your ob/gyn if they could do it yeah dh would have to give a sample so they could wash it yes they start monitoring follicles and everything before you ovulate also they may put you on clomid if your not already on it they time the trigger shot when you have follicles that are about mature and they give you the shot and it makes you ovulate within like 36 hours then they do iui some docs do 2 iui's one at 12 hours and 1 at 24 hours but mine only did 1 you might ask about it and find out info you may find it useful take care

hey everyone just got my progesterone results back last month it was 12.1 and they wanted it over 15 this time so i called and got the results and it was 25.8 whooohooo i am so proud lol

She got a bfp and is on the first trimester board. I ran across it the other day. She tested at like 10dpo. Maybe she will come back and tell all. Have a good day. Slowpoke have you tested yet?? I am 14dpiui w/ gonal F and ovidrel trigger and I think af is on her way. Tested bfn the last few days. Just waiting for af to show. Good luck to you!
