Be careful with grapefruit juice if you are taking any medication, because apparently it can reduce the effectiveness of some medications. Actually many of them. Not sure the effect on Clomid. Something to look into.

hello everyone..I am feeling so impatient now, huh..i just tested and not even a ghost of a line on my opk:(. Well, its cd17 for me and last time I got a clear positive on cd19..so maybe I still have some time ..but I remember getting faint lines for two -three days before I got a darker line so I am expecting atleast faint lines now..but no, no lines at all. I hope all is well, I am scared of freaky long cycles which I run into sometimes:(((.How is everyone else doing?

Hello ladies!
It seems like we are all waiting again, this time for ovulation. I too am still waiting for that positive line on the OPKs. So far I haven't even seen a hint of that secnd line, but if my cycle is as long as the last one, I've still got a few weeks to go :-(
My temps have finally calmed down a bit and they are starting to make more sense. How about yours, Babyloves2play? Are they lower now that you have finished clomid?
And about the grapefruit juice, all I know is that it can be dangerous if you are taking birth control pills. But that shouldn't really be an issue for any of us, I guess. I might try some of those tips and see if it helps. I couldn't hurt, I guess. Plus I would feel like I was doing something to help the situation. I HATE not being in control. One of the common frustrations of TTC, I think. Babydust to everyone, including some from my pregnant friend. She just gives me sooo much hope.

Hey girls!! You are right, Nikki, we do seem to do alot of waiting. My temps have stabilized and are slowly creeping downward but very, very slowly. I still get the feeling I will O in the next three to four days though. I just feel it. I'm trying to cramp but not quite plus my bb's are trying to get sore. It is just a waiting game now. Jaycee, I am like you, I finally got a faint line on my opk. Yesterday I didn't have a line but today I have a faint one. Waiting is so hard. Last night DH and I goofed....we were too tired to bd. Will try again tonight. I have finally found something to put my extra time into. I start classes to become a medical assistant on May 8. So that will help. Still determined to get preggo though!! Yesterday I read that drinking red raspberry leaf tea helps promote uterine health, so that may be something you girls may want to think about trying. I'm considering it. I plan on stocking up on green tea and honey today. I love tea!!!! :-) I'll check in later!!!

Hey girls!! Hope you are all having a great weekend. I think I'm coming down with something. I have a sore throat. I hate that. I hope it doesn't cause O to be later. I also just realized I haven't been doing my opks correctly. I have internet cheapies and your suppose to let your urine sit for 5 minutes before testing plus not suppose to submerge the strip longer than 5 seconds. Now I'm going to have to test again today. Earlier, it was weird, I got 3 lines.....a control line and two test lines the same shade. Any one else have that happen?? Maybe I'm just weird. I hope all is going well for everyone. Hello everyone..I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a relaxing time at home with DH..also went out for a fabulous lunch on our anniversary yday. its 4 years now..I really hope that we celebrate our next one with our little one:)..nothing much new on TTC front..still waiting for positive opk. I got a line yday but quite light as comapred to control line. I hope to get a dark one soon. Today is cd21 for me and I am getting real impatient now. This cycle seems strange..i am having any CM hardly:(..I do not know what is happening. But its so out of my control so I am doing the best I can by keeping up bding alternate days till I get a surge..babyloves2play..i use internet cheapies too..i usually hold pee for abt 2 hrs at least before testing..and let stick stay in cup for 5-10 secs. I don't think keeping it slightly longer too wud hurt but keeping it for less time may not allow sample to act completely and affect the results. I never got 3 lines but I have experienced 2-3 defective sticks in my current lot(midstream types)and its really frustuating. I never had a problem with pee in cup types. I hope your throat is alright now..Wishing best of luck to everyone. And tons of babydust too!!!!!

Hey girls!!! Happy Anniversary Jaycee!! DH and I have our 2nd anniversary June 19....three days after I turn 32. I know what you mean about the frustration of getting a positive opk. I'm on cd 17 now and no sign of a positive opk yet. :-( I'm hoping to ovulate by cd 21, if not, then I will be in for another long cycle. Nikki, are you still with us? How are you doing?? Hello girls!
It's been awhile, I know, I've just been taking it easy since ovulation is still a few weeks away for me, it seems.
It sounds like things will be happening for you guys, soon though. I still haven't seen anything but the control line on my OPKs. But I am using the internet ones too, with a little green handle. I didn't know I should let the urine sit? I guess I will do that from now on.
I'm on CD 19 and no sign of ovulation yet.
I am getting tired of fertility friend's little analyzer since it seems to predict that I am fertile everyday of my cycle except for when I actually am. It's not a major problem since I just ignore the red/green light and bd as I see fit. This must sound pretty silly, but maybe I just need to blame my failure to conceive on something other than myself? And in that case FF seems like a worthy candidate.
Well, I am looking forward to reading about any progress and just keep bd'ing! Everyone seems to be very close, so I wish you all luck! And babydust, naturally!

Hey Nikki!! I know how you feel. No early O for me either. Today is cd 19 for me and no sign of O. Yesterday I had an abundance of eggwhitey cm but still no pos. opk. I'm hoping for a normal cycle of 31 days this time and according to FF my luteal phase is 10 days. So I'll have to ovulate by cd 21 for that to happen. I'm so tired of waiting. I'm almost to the point of not trying anymore and just let it happen on its own. I want to lose 75 lbs and get healthy plus I want to get through medical assisting school. I'll be able to graduate by next August if I go nonstop for the next 15 months ( already have 3 associate degrees so alot of classes transfer). I hope you get O soon Nikki. This wait is starting to get harder than the 2WW. Check in with you later!!!

Morning girls!! Just wanted to check in. Still no O for me. Decided this will be my last cycle on clomid (makes my cycles to long) and my last cycle to actively ttc. I start classes Monday and I plan on trying to lose 75 lbs. I'm going to let nature take its course. I guess I will get pregnant when I get healthy. Lots of luck & BABYDUST to everyone!!!
