10 mg of Arimidex or Anastrozole on CD3 success stories?

Has anyone taken Arimidex on CD3 and had success ovulating? I typically take it w/ Follistim injections but I'm hoping to hear success stories about only taking 10mg of Arimidex - no injectables. Any stories out there? Thanks! Pam

Hi again, Yes, I was on 10mg of Arimidex. It's a breast cancer drug that's slowly being used for infetility. I have only used it 2 times w/out injectables. Interesting though.... all the times I've used it w/ injectables I haven't gotten pg. The 2 times I've used it w/out injectables I have gotten pg. although they end in m/c. So.. something is not quite balanced w/ it by itself. I read that it blocks estrogen so maybe that's what happening. I need to take estrogen w/ it. I'm going to my dr. tomorrow to discuss a future protocol. I just don't want to do injectables anymore. I'm trying to find something oral. I'm hoping to find someone on the forum who uses it! but I think I'm the only one. Talk to your Dr. about it though. Apparently it's much better for your lining and mucus than clomid. and it's in and out of your body also - before conception. That's supposedly a plus also. I've never had luck w/ Clomid. Arimidex seems to be the trick only if I can find a way to use it effectively. Let me know if you hear anything about it!
