Hi Everyone...I'm 24, have been trying to conceive for 2 years without any luck and i'm about to start my first round of Clomid. Just wondering if anyone knows how much this will increase my chance of multiples and how the side effects are? Would love to talk to someone with the same issues! Thanks! =D

clomid is suppose to induce ovulation. am on 2nd cycle. did not ovulate 1st cycle. i have a regular 28 day menstrual, but low progesterone levels. side effects were minimal, jus a little hot flashes in the night and slight cramps in the pelvic. good luck kelseyann

Hello all, I am on my 2nd cycle of clomid bc of PCOS and am in my 2ww. My doctor said there is a 10% chance of multiples. I am going to be 31 on Sat and would love nothing more than to have a bfp! I have been cramping, bloated, irritable and very very tired. I took a hpt today and got a bfn but I am 11 dpo, too soon? I can't stand this waiting, I am due for a period on the 6th of Aug, but since I have PCOS I don't get them, so I won't know if I missed it. Very frustrating. Good luck to you all on clomid!!

I took Clomid a year ago. I started with 50 mg and had a smll 1cm cyst. Then they uped it to 100 mg for 2 months and I got an 8cm cyst!! It was the worse pain ever when it burst!! It's now been 2yttc and I had an IUI with no meds and no shots previous. I'm hoping it works!
Good luck to ya'll!! and i think it only is an 8% chance of twins - both friends I know that took it had twins!! HAHA - although I would LOVE twins!! :-)

From what I understand from being on clomid there is a 50% chance of becoming pregnant and an 85% chance that there will be multiples.
