TWhit & Newmommy - You were all typing while I was typing too. TWhit - have you taken any tests? I would talk to your doctor about how you feel. It can't hurt to see what they say. They may want to start testing things with you since you have such long cycles. I can't believe its been 2 1/2 years for dh and I. I know we are still real young but I am glad we decided to start so young because its taking us forever.

newmommy - December 13

Yep, cd2! My periods are usually about 5 days or longer! So this 1 1/2 day thing is just wild for me. I'm still trying to decide if I should chart today as a "period" day or a "spotting" day. It's a very important decision, you know!!!! :-) You're right---we do have quite a few cycle buddies this time around! But I'm pretty sure that you will all beat me to the "o"!!! I'm guessing early January based on past cycles. But it would be nice to have a "normal" cycle this time around, so if it's shorter than that, I'd be happy. Okay, I'm off to cook dinner---not sure what's on the menu!!! Oh, and k8, don't feel bad---I don't work and I haven't been sick, and I still have a ton of laundry to do!!!

How old IS everyone here? (I forget!) I know we're still considered young, but I just can't help feeling like the clock is ticking already. "Hi, I'm newmommy and I'm 27 (28 in March!), and my DH just turned 29." :-) Wow---typing that really made me feel old! TWhit, I think you should still go to your Dr's appt, even if AF is there by then. Or if not, do another preg test before you go in just to be sure. They didn't do an internal exam at my appt, and it would be nice to just talk to them about your concerns, possibly do some blood tests, and maybe get a plan started. If you're not positive, call them and see if you can still go to the appt if you're on your AF. I'm sorry you're in a "funk" right now. This is definitely a crazy roller-coaster ride! When is your appt?

k8cherry - December 13

Well I don't think of myself as young as my mom would if I told her I was pregnant. Even tho she had my oldest brother when she was 21. "Hi I am K8cherry, I'm 23 (24 in March) and dh just turned 25. Dh and I have been together for almost 8 years. Is not technically my husband but we have been together for so long and be living together for almost 4 years we just figure its longer then most marriages. I call his mom my MIL and she calls me her DIL. We always talked about having kids before we got married even when we first started going out in High School. We want our kids to enjoy the day with us. It will be the best wedding ever. On the beach in Costa Rica at sunset. Can't beat that.

Ok now I FEEL OLD. LOL I am 31 and DH is 31 also. Newmommy, They are considering me high risk now that i've had my 3rd loss. Since I had 2 losses at 5 weeks and one at 9 weeks I could start testing things (not sure what) but they'd really like me just to be monitored closely once I get pg again. I don't know what to think. It looks like I don't have trouble conceiving....just keeping it. They will get me in ASAP next time and do major blood work from day one. The nurse said I can count the first day of my mc as cycle day 1. So I guess I am on cd 2 right now? I will start temping again when I finish bleeding. I'm out of the habit now so I have to remember to place the thermometer at my bedside. TWhit, so sorry to hear about the bfn. I know what a disappointment that is. K8 I guess we will have to have a smirnoff date. LOL I had a glass of wine 2 nights ago with dinner....OMG it tasted so good. :-)

diem - December 13

Ooops I guess I'm on CD 4 if you add the spotting days.

k8cherry - December 13

Diem - We are on the same day. I am on cd4 today too :-) I got my bottle of Margarita Mix from my Secret Santa. I think I will be enjoying that this weekend. I took my first clomid pill last night. I hope this is the only cycle I will have to take it. I think my eggies just need a little boost. I finally got a full night sleep last night. I only woke dh up once around 4am and I was able to fall back asleep and not snore again. Yeah!!! I am so excited. I got a gift certificate to get my haircut from my Secret Santa and I am going today during my lunch. A little pick me up. I have really long hair and I think I am going to chop it off and get lots of layers. Do something different. Once I get my bonus I will treat myself to getting my nails done too. Diem - I am so glad they are going to finally be agressive for you. I think your next BFP will stick!!!

TWhit116 - December 13

Well as lucky would put it the bitch is back. and right on schedule. af is usually only graces me with her presence for about 36 hours. USUALLY. so im going to keep my appt no matter what. i guess im the young one of the group 23. dh is 25. we have been together for 7 years and married for 3 next month. oh and i started to chart this month. woo hoo

k8cherry - December 13

TWhit - You are just like me!!! I am 23 and dh is 25. We have been together for almost 8 years (in May). We are not married yet but we are saving up for the best wedding ever!!! Sorry af should up. At least she is here and you can get on with your next cycle. Congrats on temping. It starts to become a routine every morning. I cool to see the way our bodies work each cycle. We will all to share our FF charts since I believe we are all temping now.

TWhit116 - December 13

I just used a reg therm today, im going to go out and buy the bbt one right now. oh wow I read your post and didn't even notice how old you said you were. we eloped. it was fun and then someday we will have a big wedding! im not surprised she is here considering how ive been feeling. i just wish i didnt have to think about o in 29 days!!!! hopefully the doctor can help me because that is the worst part!!!!

newmommy - December 13

My DH and I have been together since highschool, too! I was 17, and we've been together for 10 1/2 years, and married for 6 1/2. TWhit---sorry about AF. I wasn't sure what was going on with you---AF stuff or preg. stuff. Congrats on the temping. So, I'm still spotting, and it's cd3 for me. My temp went back up to 97.7 again, but I kept turning of my alarm and didn't temp until later today. My chart already looks weird, because my temps have been 97.7, 97.3, 97.7. I wondered if they'd go doen again because the ibuprofen is also a fever reducer, but I guess not. I wish I would have taken my temp on time today! Oh, well. It's not like I'm "o"ing on cd3 anyway! Diem, I guess we're almost all within days of each other on our cycles now. I'm sure either me or TWhit will be the last to the "ovulation finish line!" I'm glad that you are classified as "high risk" now. At least they will be watching you closely. Hopefully it is something relatively easy like low progesterone that they can fix. K8---enjoy that drink and haircut! Your office sounds like a fun place to work. You at least have good parties!

Woo Hoo!!! I paid for information on the daughter that Cheri said I will have after the boy, and she just sent it to me: "Here is the reading based on your daughter to come. I would have to relate the distance to around 16 months. This could be when you give birth to your daughter, or when you conceive her.. so either your kids will be 16 months apart, or your son will be 16 months when your daughter is conceived.. make sense?
When it comes to your duaghter, would tell you that she is very creative. Someone who can turn "junk" into treasure. I think that you will find that from a very young age is able to tell you the different colors by name and correctly, will often know which color goes with one, and seems to have a good sense of style even as young as the age of 2. She is someone who has a good positive attutude and seems to be always open to new experiences. One that likes to be a bit tomboyish at times, but still very feminine. She gets along really well with other people, and just seems to have a good sense of humor. Someone who is bubbly personality, very smart and down to earth, and is much happier around people who "keep it real" and not play "head games". I think that you will find that your daughter does not put up with things like that, and is often very verbal about her feelings about people who say "bullsh!t". She is very verbal about her feelings, has long thick hair, usually down to her waist or just above. She has nice long eyelashes which is something that people conisder a distinct feature about her. When it comes to career paths, I am linking your daughter as "field reporter" someone who goes out on the scene and gathers the facts. i think that you will find that alot of her work relates to what is happening in the world regarding politics, or enviromental. She prefers to be the one writing the storey rather than telling it,a nd enjoys being able to travel to new locations and experience different things. Most of her storeys are a short car ride, but on occasion will have to travel by plane. When it comes to marriage, I see her closer to 24 (her husband is in a similar position) and they will have two girls and one boy (although I think its GIRL BOY GIRL)" I asked her what color she sees the hair and eyes on both our girl and boy, and if they will be good friends. I guess it's a long time before we know if it will all be true or not!

Newmommy - That prediction is so cool. Whats the site again? I may just pay the $6 to see what she says for the heck of it. My temps do the same thing your does. Mine was 97.2 yesterday and today it was 97.9. They say not to look at it day by day but as a whole. I use a regular thermeter. Oh my hair came out soooo nice. I cut like 8inches off my hair and its still below my shoulder. It looks and feels so good. Yeah!!! Yeah my office does know how to party. We had three ladies hammered on Sunday at the Christmas Party. The specialty drink of the day was a Peppermint Martini which was really good!!! And the JUMBO SHRIMP. They were huge all you could eat. It was at my bosses house on the beach. It was so awesome. In Feb. she will be celebrating 20 years in business so we all will be going out to dinner at a fancy resturant and then she is having a in office party for our clients one day and a party for all our reps on another day. It will be crazy. My dr. just called and said I have to get blood work done cd21 to make sure I o'd with the clomid. I wish I could get u/s done but I don't think they do that. I might have to ask.

newmommy - December 13

I think you should get a reading---It gives you some hope! Plus, I think it would be a cool thing to add to a baby album and see if it's true one day. The funny thing was, she put a few words in "quotes," which were "darling" for our boy and "bullsh!t" for our girl. What's crazy is that my mom uses the word "darling" which you don't hear too often, and I could totally hear her saying that. And I'm always making fun of my DH because the always uses the phrase "bullsh!t" all the time, which I hate! It's nice to get the definite answer on whether you ovulated or not. I wish I could have gotten that, but I'm hoping the temps will tell me without a doubt. But ask about the u/s just in case!

babybaby - December 13

Hello guys, wow you had a lot going on since I last checked. Lucky717 sorry about af. When it happens we get sooo sad and then we recover our strenght and energy for another month of bding, right? It looks like a lot of us are very close in the cycle. I'm on CD 8 and very excited this month. By the way, I'm 25 and dh is 29. We've been married for 5 years and we are just ready for a baby. Yesterday I had an appt with my re and it was GREAT!!!! When I went in for my u/s to see the size of my follies last month the dr found a fibroma (1cm) by my uterus but he said it was so small that I shouldn't wory about it. So when I went in yesterday to talk about a possible IUI he wanted to do a histerosonography to make sure that the fibroma wasn't very close to my uterus where it would make me miscarry. If it was I would need a histeroscopy to get rid of it. I was so scared, but thank God the fibroma is not pushing into my uterus which means I don't have to worry about it at all. I'm so relieved! So the dr thinks this month is great for an IUI. He checked my ovaries and yesterday CD7 I already had more than 5 follies about 10-12 mm. They still have another 9-10 das to grow because I O on CD16-17 and if they grow 1 inch a day they will be a great size for the IUI. I always O on my own but last month I started with femara but I only had 2 good sizes follies. I guess this month things improved a lot. You guys if the IUI works then Cheri will be right. She said that I would conceive or find out about it between Dec '06 and Jan '07. The most amazing thing is that everything is working out perfectly. The day I O 12/22 will be the last day the re clinic will be doing anything this yeas so if af was one day late I would have to wait until next month. I don't know, I just have a good feeling for all of us for this month. It will be Christmas and most of us will be Oing around that time so it will definitely be a Christmas miracle. Let's try not to stress out and just keep our positive thoughts and hope for the best. Dh and I are going today at 6pm for another round of acupuncture. Our re is amazing. He gave us a referral for 20 sessions of acupunture and with that our insurance will pay for them. I'm so glad I am over the sadness about af. I am just so happy and hopeful that I wish that you guys feel the same because it's so much better than all the sad heavy feeling when af comes. Take care guys and let's put a smile on our faces and heart, ok?

Lucky717 - December 13

Hi Ladies! I talked to my RE today and my lap procedure is scheduled for Jan. 18th. I am ready to get the show on the road. Looking forward to finding out what is going on with me. Tired of all the speculation. I'm nervous but know I will do fine. My best friend of course is no where to be found. Why do I even call her my best friend?!?!?! She's never around for the tough times. Since she had her baby she is MIA. I am dealing with things ok. Can't really forgive her for not being there. So I am moving on without her and remembering the good.
