Justine-Sorry i forgot to say on my last post good luck at the doctors.

Hi! yeah, I guess I'm on the 2ww. I think I o'd yesterday though. How long many days after you o do you bd? I really think all this bd'ing has helped me and my hubby's bed life! I read somewhere that a woman should o (the other o) before he does....so maybe that's why it's improved! lol!

Dawn - welcome back, we've missed you. is everything ok with you now after your operation? thanks for your good wishes for my drs appointment, i'm sooooo nervous. m - i try and bd the day after ovulation too or if you're too tired by then perhaps the day after that. it is probably too late by then anyway but it's better to do it just in case you ovulate a little late than you expect. d - it is scary and worrying having to see a dr about this but rather that than month after month of endless disappointment. i think you like me have kind of reached a threshold of not being able to deal with that anymore without knowing what's going on. ok well i'd better go and get ready for my appointment. bye for now.

Justine-Yeh I'm not feeling too bad, today is my first day back at work after 4 and a half weeks of sick. M-I read something similar to that about the women coming before the man and how you have a bettering chance of ttc. Not sure how true that is. Goodluck aswell with your doctors appointment.

well, in 2 weeks I can let y'all know if coming before the man helps in conception!! Just found out another one of my friends is pg!!! Now that I'm trying, it seems like everyone I know is getting pg! Our time is coming!! :)

Hi, I finally got my +OPK today on cd16. My dh and I have been bd the last 3 days. My question is should I definately bd tonight or use tonight as a break from bd then start again tomorrow night? My dh had a really hard time finishing last night but he did with some encouraging. I don't want to push him so hard but what do you think I should do?

sara, mine has had a hard time finishing the past few days too. I wonder if it is the pressure we put on them. Good Luck.
To all. opk's if i already o'd would there be a negative line? anyone know. I keep having o pains but it is showing negative. I just don't get it. Any ideas?

I would do it, tonight, tomorrow, the next and the next. just to be sure..

Forgot to tell you all. I knew it would happen when i heard waves breaking onto the beach outside our condo. (you never hear waves on the gulf) but i went on the casino boat anyway for my dh. I got seasick at the end. I would have been fine but the water was so rough that they kept turning the boat to stop it from rocking and even the dealers were holding onto their tables... dh had went to the potty and i was holding onto a wall between the casino floor and the bathroom. You had to be there to see it. It was so funny. lol

Sara - yey, i'm so happy for you that you finally got your opk +. perhaps if dh is already tired, then you could take tonight off and then if possible try and bd in the morning or at the very least tomorrow evening as it's better to have the sperm in there waiting for the egg. good luck. d - the opk + just shows your lh surge but i think it may be possible for ovulation to still be delayed through things such as stress and fatigue which i know you've had. better to keep bd just in case. do you temp as this does show exactly when you ovulate? m - that has happened to me too and have you noticed that whenever you go out you see pg women or newborns everywhere you go... sigh! i've just got back from my re appointment. it was ok but abit daunting as basically i'm now lined up for lots of different tests over the next month, the first being a blood test on friday to check progesterone levels. dh and i are praying that we are already pg so that we don't have to go down this daunting and expensive path. fingers crossed.

I think dh and I will bd tonight b/c I don't want to miss my chance at becoming preggo. I go back to my reflexologist tomorrow night and who knows, good things may happen. The weirdest thing happened during night. After my session she told me I may get sick b/c of the toxins leaving my body. Sure enough I woke up at 3:00am not feeling well. I eventually got back to sleep then when I woke again I felt better. I talked to my friend who went to the same relexologist and she too got sick after her session.

Sara, FYI... I'm a massage therapist and just be careful with reflexology. Make sure you tell your thersapist that you're tryin to get pregnant so she avoids certain areas on the back of your foot. They should avoid the achilles tendon which can cause misscarriage/contractions. I don't know if it had an effect before you become pregnant but I would def. keep it in mind for when you do become pregnant. Good luck.

And Sara... that's why after massage or reflex, you should drink 4 extra glasses of water to wash away those toxins that are released thru massage. Otherwise, they settle back into your body, leaving you feeling that achy sick feeling.

Sorry for a million posts.. haha. I'm reading each of your comments. D... I had the same problem with dh. He's like it felt like a job... poor guy! I really didn't want it either but you have no choice if you want a baby. He's starting to understand how small that window is. I'm also having problems with these sticks. I think I got a faint positive sunday then it was alittle darker on monday then tuesday it was negative. So that means my peek was monday so I should ovulate either yesterday or today? MAN... I just dont understand. Why can't they make these stcks plus or minus and take the guess work out of it. This is my first month using them so I hope I did it right. This is my 2nd second after I delivered my daughter so I can only base it on a 35 cycle but going by these sticks this cycle is going to be shorter. I hope so... I hope we bd'ed on the right days! I'm going to continue maybe tonight but def. tomorrow and sat. Good luck to ya!

Well, last night my dh couldn't finish either! What's with these men?! jk, they have a huge job. If I got my + opk on Sunday (bd'd that day) and probably o'd on Monday (bd'd that day) and couldn't successfully bd yesterday...I think we bd'd the right days..?? What do you think?
