IUI Sucess Story

It's a one time injection for each ejaculation. Our 1st IUI we did once. Our 2nd IUI we did twice (back to back days). Once on Thursday (one ejaculation) then again 24 hours later on Friday (DH made a second donation). Dr. thinks 2 is overkill, but I pushed to have it done twice. If you read backward on the postings you can get some more specifics (i went into more detail).

Tracy, did you have progesterone levels tested at all? like during the 2ww?

Tracy, congrats to you!!! I am staring my forst round of injectibles once AF shows (any day now) and will be doing back-to-back IUI's. Posts like yours really help me keep the faith that getting pg is a real possibility...not just a dream. BUT WOW...triplets???? I think I'd faint if I was told I'm having triplets. Anyway...the best of luck to you and dh!

Oops..spelling error, supposed to say "first".

Beta 12dpo p.m. was 310 and 14dpo a.m. was 540. I was told my progesterone was GREAT at 12dpo and was given a 257.8 number, but in looking at the internet - I can't tell what the unit of measure was because this looks like a 3rd trimester number.... We had our second u/s yesterday and they are all growing and doing well. We did have a scare Friday night with some cramping and bleeding, so if you ever experience bleeding don't panic right away. It really could be nothing. GOOD LUCK!

Triplets! Wow, that's quite a success story tsho20 (Tracy)! Congrats! And good luck to you & your babies. Again, thanks for sharing. I especially like hearing success stories with low morphology.

Tracy, did you get implantation cramping at all, especially with triplets!? I am really glad you had nothing wrong on Friday night! Whew! Mybe that progesterone was high because of the 3 babies! : )

Tracy, you are our inspiration! Bless you and your family and may you have a happy and healthy 9 months and 3 healthy and beautiful babies!

Tonia, I had absolutely no signs of implantation. No spotting, no triphastic temps, no implantation dip, no cramping... nada. Honestly, had no idea we were successful until I got the BFP... Thanks to everyone for the kind words, support, and prayers.

Hi All,
Hope you don't mind me joining you. Tracy - congratulations! I was wondering if you had any fertility issues other than poor morphology. My DH has poor morphology - 3% and we have tried 1 iui with hcg but without any other drug and without success. My doc does not want me to take anything else because he believes it won't help as I already ovulate on my own each month. I question his opinion because surely more eggs would increase chances - right? Any advice from you all would be very helpful.

Hi Everyone, I haven't posted in a while... TRACY(tsho20), CONGRATS again!!! I hope all goes well and you have a happy, healthy & stress free 9 months!!! We had our 1st IUI yesterday, they put in 109 mill motile sperm!! So I am hoping that all goes well... the waiting is the hard part... I had a shot of hcg the day before IUI and I will take another shot next Tuesday morning... If on the morning of May 26th there is no AF, I am to head straight for the dr's office!!! I am nervous, anxious... I'm sure you all understand how I feel, LOL!!! GOOD LUCK, BABY DUST & BELLY RUBS!!!
