The lap was done by my OB-GYN. She did not remove anything, she said she didn't want to make it worse. They can't change the code because the reason for the sx was blocked tubes, possible infertility. They said they tried to re-code it but the blocked tubes comes under infertility. Also, they said they didn't know I had endo before sx and they can't code it endo afterwards. I don't see why that has to be under infertility. SO, the hospital is just going to have to wait until I can pay them something. That is good the RE can do that. When I talked to mine about the sx, he said he didn't see why he couldn't code it that way, so I can get it paid for by insurance co. I go this Sat for trigger shot. Either way though, I have to have the second sx....so...I have no choice but to figure something out! Well, maybe this pg will work for you. Remember Cheri's prediction??? I think she told you April and a Boy. This would put you at March!!!! That's close enough for me!!!!!!

I think if you complain of the symptoms of endo--abdominal pains, back pains, heavy afs, etc. that they will redo the lap and remove it. Then the reason for the surgery will be abdominal pain and all that stuff. Yes, Cheri's predictions was not right, assuming I make it all the way through this pregnancy. I calced my due date and it would be the very end of February--no April. I do hope for a boy, however!!

Well, she might have been off a little bit on the due date....hopefully she is right about a boy!! Yeah, I have complained about all that stuff in the past but they said the reason for the lap was blocked tubes, due to HSG results. So, I guess I got screwed there!!!!

That totally sux. I just can't stand the way insurance companies treat people sometimes.

Jaqi - June 21

Ann, how are you chica? How are you feeling? Hope all is good. And your bloodwork...hope that is doubling!!!

Ann1 - June 21

Hi Jaqi. Thanks for checking on me. I still feel no symptoms. My hcg rose to 313, so all is well!

Jaqi - June 21

That's great!!!! I am so glad for ya'll, especially you chica!!!! You just gotta make it for apporx 10 weeks or so right? Isn't that the "danger zone?"

Ann1 - June 21

Yeah, I think 12 weeks is a key time. I have a sono on July 14 to see how everything looks, too. Since I am old, I will have an amnio too at some point.

Jaqi - June 21

What is an amnio? Is that to check for deformities or down syndrome or stuff like that? NOOOO your not old!!!!! Girl, you have forever in front of you! Me, I'm old becuase I will be 30 in Sep!!! NOooooooooooooooo please don't let me be 30!!!! NO, I don't want to leave 20's....nooooooo

Ann1 - June 21

What fond memories I have of my 20s...I am 37! I hated turning 30. Yes, that is to check for down's etc.

Jaqi - June 21

I have memories and don't want to loose them....lol 30 is a whole new bracket. My DH laughs becuase he is 33, will be 34 in Sep. He just thinks I'm flat out crazy!!!!

Ann1 - June 21

I think the age thing is different for women, too. Men don't get it.

Jaqi - June 21

Nope, that is why they are men.

Jaqi - June 25

Ann, how are you doing chica? Any symptoms yet? When do you go to the dr next? How is DH taking all this? Me, I went to the dr sat. My right side has 2 mature follicles, with one about to release, and one smaller one. The left side was lazy and didn't produce any this month. I needed that side to, because the right tube is the one that is completely blocked! So...we shall see what happens I guess. I will try 2 more months, then if not, I will wait for IVF hoepfully in Jan. I found out that Texas, not too long ago, passed a law stating if the ins co tell you that you have coverage, and they messed up and told you wrong, they still have to pay for the coverage they told you! So....that sounds pretty promising! I am keeping my hopes up that I will get this covered!

Ann1 - June 25

Wow, Jaqi, that is great news on your insurance. Do you have proof they told you it was covered? If not, you should try to get the proof before you tell them what the law says. Maybe you could tape a phone call with them.?.? I still don't feel a thing except for heartburn and a bunch of bloating. Yesterday, my dh said about my stomach, "I can't believe it is getting so big so fast!" I told him that is not what I want to hear right now! I weighed myself, and I actually lost 2 lbs, so I know it is just air. I have been eating really healthy, so I guess I dropped a couple lbs from not eating a ton of chocolate.:) I have a sono on July 14, and that is my next appt. After that if all is well, I will go back to my ob/gyn after that. It is funny that I have the appt on July 14. It is Bastille Day in France, and dh and I had planned to have a wine party that night. I am glad we didn't do invites yet! That is great about your follies. I hope the eggs can squeeze by the blockage in your tube!! Keep me posted. When do you/did you trigger?

Jaqi - June 25

From what I understand, it's either verbal or written. They pre-atuhd my sx and authd benefits with my re 2x! So, I have the doctor's office who can vouche for me, then another officer and a secretary I work with were there the day I talked to the guy on the phone about my benefits. So, we shall see. I sure hope this works. I am doing what I can. I am so happy for you!!! I bet you can't wait till July 14, huh? Yup, that is good you didn't plan the wine tasting party....lol You'd have to get a baby wine glass too...lol No, I didn't use the trigger shot. He told me to save it. He said it looked like I was going to O on my own, because the sono showed an follicle at the edge about to "break out" or whatever the word would be...lol
