sorry for the quick post - i figured i should have said BFN! as if it weren't going to be obvious at 10dpo! i am off to my early start OB appt to see what they have to say today - i'll catch you later. (i know trying4pg - i know - i would peek at xmas gifts in september if someone would have some!) i told you i was bad at waiting! wish me luck at the early start thing.

Okay...I am glad to know that my incessant blabbering is funny for you, Trying. And thanks for clarifying BFP. I knew the P was positive...I just couldn't figure out the BF part. And trust me...I'm feeling ya on the drips. So, I had AF for my surgery...but it was so light (not normal) so it was like a dripping faucet, too. But, thank God I am done with that now! Hope you get AF soon. I know...not usually what I would wish for someone in this position...but you know. And I loved the seaman/semen thing...never thought of it like that. I was laughing so hard! Julie...good luck. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Same for you, CCB. PBA, too funny that we both teach 8th grade English and are chaperoning BG field trips this month. Too odd! Okay...so I have to run. Have my painters here painting away while I am being a bum on the computer! Baby dust!

Oh...CCB...didn't mean to ignore the question. Yes...I am trying this month. Going on Mon for US. I am lucky enough to not need hormones or anything...just IUI (me and my killer crotch...sorry...a little crude). So, Mon will be CD 13 for me. I am hoping and praying this is the one!

Hi Guys, mind if I join your thread. Pretty busy for a coupleof days. It's nice to know there are others out there going through similar situations. I have tried IUI 2x. My DH has a very low count. I am on the 2ww but I think I am starting cramps. AF is due on Thursday. I went for an IVF appt today and I can't believe how expensive it is and it's so stressful. I hope everyone that is waiting has positive results. You guys can call me Polly. It was already taken.

You ladies are so funny w/the drip drip, and those I cant wait to test. I couldnt stop laughing. I was 6 and half weeks pregnant when i had my m/c. This is my first experience of having one, I have a 12 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son, from previous marriage. My new dh doesnt have any kids, and we wanted to try. I had my tubes tied after my son, and we had them undone last July. It took 7mos to get pregnant, so needless to say we were very disappointed that I m/c, but glad that the surgery worked. According to my OV watch (ovulation watch,,,no pee on a stick anymore, which btw is wonderful) im 3 dpo. So I still have quite of bit of time to wait to test. Im hoping that what "THEY" say is true, that women are even more fertile after having a baby or m/c. So Im crossing all my fingers and toes, for everyone. My af came exactly 28 days after m/c, but before i got pregnant i was very irregular from 28 to 34 days, different every month. Its very neat that there are a quite a few teachers here, I tried to go back to school to become one, Ive only made it to 3 finished classes towards my AA. LOL....I hate school. But I am a Deputy Sheriff in Los Angeles, for almost 8 yrs. Amazing how time flies. Im off to eat some pie....just wanted to say hello to you all, hoping that there would be some good news. wishing you all lots and lots of baby dust~~~~~~~~gnite

Welcome, Polly. I read what you wrote and I am curious...have you only ever done 2 IUI? And now your RE is having you move to IVF? Just curious. I mean, I know everyone's situation is a little different...but my RE said we should do 6 IUI before the lap/hyst surgery to "cover our bases" because she said that in 6 tries, if it doesn't work, then there is something wrong. We haven't even moved to IVF yet...and to be honest...hoping I don't have to. MrsIke...thank you for sharing...and sorry to hear about your mc. Did you have any problems ttc your first 2 children? I am just curious. I am wondering (and I haven't asked my RE yet), with my "killer crotch", am I always going to have to do IUI or something similar? Or does having a baby change my environment enough to possibly be able to do it all naturally next time around? Maybe I am getting ahead of myself since we are still working on #1. But, I was just wondering about that. Does anyone have an answer? Like I said before, I am lucky enough to have everything "perfect" for conception...except the killer instinct. So, we have just been doing IUI. When I had my first appt with the RE, it just so happened to be time for my O, so she had us do a post-coital. With the findings, we were able to kill two birds with one stone...my dh did a sample (which he was nervous about...that the problem would be with him), and since all was GREAT on his end, and it was my O time, we did an IUI on my 3rd visit...all within 3 days of meeting my RE. I was really excited that she was ready to take the bull by the horns and go for it. I was worried that there would be a lot of wait time. So, in the midst of doing an IUI every freaking month since Sept, I was also doing endo. biopsy, HSG, and finally lap/hyst. All looked great...until the surgery. Like I said before, that is where we (okay, she...not me) found all of my "issues". Which, I was so relieved. I know, odd to be relieved to know your insides are all jacked up...but I was so happy to have a reason as to why instead of "all looks great...let's try another IUI next month". So...I am so anxious now about Mon's US appt. I am considering making it for Fri so I can make sure we don't miss. But, I don't want to jump the gun. And...I can't do OPKs because mine never work. I know peeing on a stick is SO not that hard...but I never got + on any. But again, all bloodwork is always great, never needed a trigger shot...so who knows. I will now be the US queen...getting it done every month..."every day for a week, if needed" according to my RE. Like I said...I am so anxious for Mon. And I hate the 2ww...but I am TOTALLY looking forward to it this time. I know...all stuff I said before, but I can't help it. SO EXCITED!!!!

hi girls - erika - are you doing an ultrasound on monday (7th) or IUI? good luck either way - just thought you had said iui on the 7th earlier. - i also asked about rides in early pregnancy - as we are going to disney next week - and the ES specialist said "um, no." she mentioned the blood pressure and heart range changes on the coasters and the jarring motions of some of the other rides - and said although it MAY NOT do anything it's best not to. but not while you are in between AF and TTC - which i should be at that point - unless i turn up pg. so if you are sure you aren't pg - do it - if you are in the 2ww - or early pg - i'd skip it and enjoy all the yummy foods!! it must be difficult having to endure all the fertility stuff w/ dh away. do you have family near you in va bch? you always have us! mrs ike - you are funny! -- i am laughing reading about all you are laughing at (all the stuff i was laughing at when i 1st started here 3 mos ago - and i was clueless on the abbreviations on here -** tip though - on the left side column of this page there is a "USEFUL LINKS" grouping and it has glossary of terms - some of the abbreviations are in there) - now, where oh where did you get the ovulation watch? does it work? do you like it? how does it work? do you have to wear it 24hr a day for the whole month? (sorry for all the questions - i have been dying to try one i saw on the internet - but didn't know of anyone that had been using them!) so please do tell - if you don't mind. would you recommend it? ---- hi polly - welcome! we are pretty close in CD's. are you going to test tomorrow? or will you wait till you are due for AF? as you san see - i already tested and was WAY too early - AF isn't due till like the weekend. oh well. -- TRYING4PG - so glad you went to volleyball. sorry about the drips. do you know a plumber? sorry -- i couldn't resist. so are you disappointed in my "premature" testing?? i was. --not cuz i tested early but cuz it was negative. alas i didn't think april was "my month" = but the early start specialist was pretty encouraging - she said if i want to go in for a beta hcg - i could go on friday. (which ofcourse means no results till monday - which by then i'll either have AF or a BFP at home - so we will see. other than that she calmed me down about my green tea consumption - but did say i should lay off for now. it was a pretty uplifting appt considering i had a bfn shortly before i went to see her. because of my schedule and hers - we aren't going to see eachother again for 3 weeks. did i tell you i am going back to work finally on thursday (evening) and should be back in the swing of things there again soon. how are you feeling today? ---- CCB - - - we are on the same DPO's and you see how my tests turned out - so i am backing you on the wait! you have some good symptoms! are these new or do you normally get them with AF? i have nothing. PBA--- how are you doing? jenna and kms are you guys still out there? hope all is well!

US on Mon...so IUI probably Tues. But like I said...I am being impatient. So I might US on Fri and see where that takes me. :)

trying4pg - May 2

Hi everyone!!! So exciting to see everyone chatting away - I can hardly wait till I am done this week so I can chat away. Apalonia/Polly - welcome and absolute come and join us and tell us your story. We would love to learn more about you. I hope AF doesn't come for you. Mrs. Ike - wow what the heck is an ovulating watch. Do you pee on it??? That's kind of disgusting and fascinating...let me know...that's probably why Julie is interested....apparently ...AHEM...she will pee on ANYTHING!!! (lol ...just kidding my curious little friend). Sad news that I lost $10 today...of course who's to say you won't buy another box and test again tomorrow. HOT STOCK TIP - Buy CLEARPLAN STOCK while Julie is TTC!!! Oh by the way...funny plumber joke!!! You are on the ball today missy! CCB - how are you doing....is your 2ww as agonizing as it is for other people??? Erika - I think you were probably fortunate enough to discover your problem and it should be smooth sailing once you get preggers. So I wouldn't worry about conceiving #2, #3, #4, #5....(how many are on a baseball team???) Once your body knows you are in the baby making business - I am sure everything will go awesome for you. I gotta fly cuz I got a tonne of homework to do but I have to tell ya something first. Remember I said I wasn't really on my game for v-ball. Everything I hit went to the left...weird cuz I actually don't suck as bad at v-ball as I do in basketball. Anyways, I am driving to school today and my car kind of wants to go left too. You know what...the new contacts I put in yesterday had the wrong prescription in one eye. I was walking into things for a day and a half...weird huh? I only noticed that I could see better when I shut one eye well I was driving. So...I spent the day walking around like a pirate. God - I can hardly wait til this week is over. Don't you find it strange that it took me a day and a half to figure that out??? Anyways...I will talk to you guys tomorrow. Here's to a bunch of poopy diapers for us all within the next year!

trying4pg -- i am laughing so hard right now i am crying! dh is yelling from downstairs - are you ok? is everything alright? did you test again? ---- i said no i am laughing at marcia marcia marcia (that is how he knows you). apparently i will pee on anything - especially if it will help me get pg or tell me that i am! but---- i am pretty sure you don't need to pee on the watch. again i say pretty sure - we'll have to wait to hear back from mrsike. --- i am glad you liked the plumber joke - it was all i had. -- and i think we might be related. you & me. i did the same thing with the contact just last week - i threw out the old ones - got out the new boxes and put in 1 and then had a distraction so when i went back to put in the other - i put in the one for the RT eye. mine only lasted for a day though - i had a headache afterward - but you are brave - driving like a pirate!! aaaaaaaaarrr! -- dh just came up to check on me and i filled him in - and he didn't find it half as funny as i did (men!!) i am still smiling! then he scolded me for finding the test and using it - i explained it wasn't that hard to "FIND" as he left it on the other side of our vanity in the bathroom - i didn't need to be sherlock holmes - so he asked me if i have any more "stashed" anywhere - -- ------- i explained it was a random test - and not crack! i don't stash them (and i don't do crack!) so i can get my "pee on a stick fix" early in the morning when he is at work. again -- MEN! can't live with 'em cant' have babies without them! g'night - and i hope you get all your work done!

ladies?

MrsIke - May 2

Lol, NOOOOOOO, u dont pee on the watch. lmao. go to the website ovwatch.com. I saw it in a magazine, cant remember if it was a fertility magazine or not. Nonetheless, I saw it, and I wanted it, cuz im tired of peeing on a stick or peeing in a cup. You wear it for 6 hours a day, preferably at night when ur asleep. The watch has sensors to measure the perspiration that mixes w/the ions on the sensors. The watch stores the info. It will give u a 4 day fertililty window as when to have bd. It will say day 1 to 4 then ov day 1 and 2 then less fertile days. According to them, you have the most success 4 days prior to ovulation. Since the sperm lives up to 4 days its best to have the lil buddies there when the egg releases. This product was made by a woman just like us. There is alot of testimonials there on the website. As the more info the watch recieves the more accurate it is. So god forbid im not pregnant this month, the watch carries all the info from previous af and will compare with the next af, which in turn will be more accurate. The % of the watch is alot higher than most opk. I like it, I recommend it. I cant recall the $ but it was around 200 bucks. But if you think about how much we spend in opk and prego tests, its not much.

Another day ... another day... *sigh* no cramps yet... and my boobs are huge... although they are a lot less tender. Trying - it is very agonizing... but I am dead set on not taking a test. Julie - sorry about the pfn - it is a little soon... as for the symptoms the only real symptom of AF that I used to get when on the pill was a headache a day before it started, but if I wasnt on the pill, I wouldnt get AF at all..., do you have any symptoms of AF? Erika how did the US go? or is that next mon?...

julie2007 - May 2

thanks mrs ike - i will ck out the site - heck i spent like $200 on the clearblue easy fertility monitor (and the pee on sticks at 50 bucks a box - so a $200 watch wouldn't be much worse!) i hope i don't need it - i am still holding out on the testing this weekend. - i am NOT going to get another test till thursday night - and will test friday at the EARLIEST! i promise. CCB - (see above ) ha ha -- that is my thought - and i am sticking to it. i have a little creamy white cm but nothing super out of the ordinary. (ok i guess i actually never paid attention before i was TTC - so since i was TTC - nothing out of the ordinary). you sound like you have some good symptoms! are you going to wait till next tuesday to test at your doc - or are we testing fri or saturday? (i could use the moral support!) -- TRYING4pg - hope you are doing well with class this week - jenna are you around? erika? PBA?

pba74 - May 2

Hello ladies....it's been quite a hectic day. We took the 8th graders to the IMAX today. Personally, I'm not a science person and the 3D hurt my eyes, but it was a nice day away from the school. Erika - did you decide to do the u/s on Friday or wait till Monday? CCB - any symptoms yet? Think you'll still hold out till May 7-8 to test? I'm crossing my fingers for ya. Julie - any symptoms for you? I'll be crossing my fingers for you as well. Mrs. Ike...the watch sounds interesting. I've never heard of such a thing before, but that's probably b/c I've never really paid much attention to ttc like I am now. I'm still debating on if I should go see a new doctor for a "pre-conception" appt. I don't even know what to say or ask so I feel very awkward. I just don't want to have another m/c and if I can get tested before maybe I can prevent one....What would I ask to get tested for anyway? Oh...what a day. DH just made dinner and as usual he wants me to eat NOW...That is what he says anyway...LOL...I love him nonetheless...ttfn

cmgorschboth - May 2

Yeah, I'm new on here and kind of feel "out of the loop". But I can't talk to my friends at home, about my problems, especially since 3 of them are pregnant, as I speak, and 2 of them just found out this week, so you can imagine how I'm feeling. I feel like I'm the only one in my group of friends and family that has these problems and no one understands what it is like to not be able to concieve. So I got on here and thought maybe I would have some people to talk to who know what I'm going through.
