Ladies - Hello! & Happy New Year! Glad to find the new thread - I'm just back from my Holiday vacation w/ the family.... & no - Not PG - c'mon now!?! Lol - OMG - Actually, I just ended the longest most painful period I have ever had - the Clomid played all kinds of tricks on me but this lengthened painful heavier than normal blot clot ravished period was the worst of it! WOW - anyway - I havent been able to read thru & get all up to speed with everyone but I will - & I am wishing for the best.... I am really at my witts end here - I am giving up. Month # 16 is just not a pleasant reality for me. The constant emotional rollercoaster - the unexplained open-ended diagnosis... The hopes the mind game, the hormones, the frustration, the failure - month after month after month is ruining my life! Seriously TTC has ran my every waking (sometimes sleeping) moment for too long now. My realtionship / communication w/ DH is squashed to nerves! I am more resentful & bitter, feeling helpless & depressed with each new day... To top all of my woes - it's near impossible to get a BD'ing schedule anymore now that DH is traveling.... Ah!! Chris leaves on Thursday for Europe - for 50+ days.... Once again - nothing is looking up..... We are running out for a movie date as I type - I just thought I'd give you the latest same ol same ol - my prayers are with you ladies - I am throwing in my TTC towel & donating all my BABY DUST to you guys! So use it!!!! I'll follow up with yall in a few. KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE! Take care & talk soon -Cheers, Monica.

Back from holidays, completely exhausted, long story! I'll check in tomorrow night!

Shawna - January 11

Well Holidays were excellent, and it really sucks to be back home! Our flight was 7 hours delayed on Saturday and we didn't get to our hotel in Toronto until 5am. But we all have awesome tans so I guess that counts for something! As for ttc, I'm pretty sure we are out of the running this month. We were supposed to have 2 queen beds in our hotel room, but we wew given a king, so all three of us slept in the same bed. I believe that is some sort of child abuse, so we did nothing but sleep. However, we were able to sneak away for a bit christmas day! I was supposed to o on the 27 (according to some ovulation calendar), but I don't know if I actually did. Some of you can tell because of cm, or temps, or opks, but I have no idea! I am on cd28, so we'll wait and see. I go to the specialist on the 19th and hopefully I will get some more answers. Kelly, sorry to hear about your bfn, good luck with the clomid. Kristi, I'm so glad to hear from you. I often think of you and how you are doing. I'm glad to hear you are doing OK. Well Monica, your sense of humour is definitely uplifting, I really appreciate it. I don't really know what else to day to you, but I hope whatever you decide to do, I hope you keep in touch with us. I look forward to reading your quirky anecdotes! Nic and Elena, where are you? What's new with you? I just found out when we returned home on Sunday that 2 close friends informed us they are expecting. They are both due in late August. Hopefully, we'll be able to join them soon! I'm ready for some good news!

Kelly - January 11

Hi all, just checking in I am now on cd15 and no ovulation yet. I sure hope that Clomid did something and it happens soon. I hate having 40 day cycles. I guess I will just have to keep BD'ing. Poor hubby is getting tired of being my man whore. ;)

Shawna - January 12

Hi Girls, how is everyone today? We definitely need a positive boost to this forum!

Elena - January 13

Hi, ladies sorry I've been gone for awhile I had to take a break to relax my mind. Well as of right now I'm 3 days late so I went to the drug store and bought a first repsonse pregnancy test and within 3 mins I noticed a very very faint pink line barley noticeable, I freaked out and called my husband to the bathroom to have him look at it to make sure that I'm not seeing things he said yea I see a faint line. Called my mother and she said to wait to test again on sunday or monday because my hcg levels might be low right now.! I really hope I'm pregnant after 1year of trying this has to be it!! I'm trying not get exicted because, I don't want to get upset which if its a neg I know I will be upset. well I will keep you updated. how is everyone else?? anything ?? **baby dust**

Shawna - January 13

YAY Elena!!!! I'm so excited for you!! We have to stay positive and I'm praying your test is positive. Try not to go too insane over the weekend! Please keep us updated. I will try and check in as much as possible if you want to talk. Good luck and baby dust!!!

Kelly - January 13

Elena!!! I am sure it is a positive, good for you and how exciting. I finally had a positive OPK last night so I am now in the waiting game for the almighty thermal shift in my BBT...

Elena - January 14

Well took another test today at 5pm ept and the second I finshed peeing it turned postive in seconds. calling doctor's office on monday to confirm. I'm in such shock right now. I can't belive it. I really think that fertilaid helped me conceive and I did not stress out at all last month.. well really tried had a long exciting day good night!!!!!!!!!

Kristi - January 15

Hi everyone!! Sorry I have been gone so long. Since not being able to ttc right now, have been trying to not even think about it much and I have been soooo busy!! I keep thinking I will get on here and see how everyone is doing and something always gets in the way! I will try to keep up more often from now on. Well congratulations Elena!!! I am so excited for you! You must keep in touch and let us know how things are going. Monica, Shawna, good to see you both back from vacations and that you had wonderful times! Hopefully this year will be the one for us!! I have been released to bd again - after almost fve weeks of emotional and physical pain and 5 weeks of bleeding that led to a bladder infection!! And now feeling as if I am going start AF anytime.....I actually think I may O'd this last week, but not for sure....seems like kinda weird seeing as my HCG levels just got down to 0 a couple weeks ago. Anyway, we start Clomid again in Febuary. Cant say I am actually looking forward to it....it has been really nice not having to worry about bding on schedule or temping every morning. Oh well, thats just the way it goes I suppose. Well, hope to hear from everyone soon and will try to get back on this week!! Baby dust to all!!

Shawna - January 15

Hi Kristi, I'm glad you're still here and feeling better. I am on cd33 and still no signs of af in sight. I thought it was finally on track, but I guess not. I had a severe pain shooting through my right boob last night, so maybe that is a sign of something. I go to the specialist on Thursday so I am anxious to hear what he has to say. For all of you who have gone to a specialist, what will go on? Should I be prepared with anything? How much different is it than going to your regular dr? Elena I'm so excited for you! Are you going to the dr to get it confirmed and get your papers all started? When are you going to start telling people? I wonder were Nic is? Have a great Sunday Ladies and I look forward to hearing from you all through out the week!

Shawna - January 17

Elena, has your pregnancy been confirmed? How is everyone else?

Elena - January 18

Well my obgyn is not available this week so I made a appt for me on 01-23-06. I could not wait to confirm so I called my primary care physican and they did a urine test and she said within seconds it turned postive. So she wrote me rx for prenatal vitamins and folic acid. She said that my doctor will probably on monday set up blood work and maybe my 1st ultrasound. Sooo I have to wait for monday at 10:30 am. I mean have to be pregnant I have taken 5 pregnancy test and all of them were postive. Still have sore boobs and very lite cramping like stretching but otherwise I feel GREAT NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!! Will keep you girls updated. And yes I did tell everyone as soon as the 5th test came up postive. Shawna are you going to a fertility specialist? If so they will check you down there to see whats going on. For me they did a hsg to see if the tubes were blocked. Set up lots of blood work. Just be prepared for lots of poking and fertility drugs that will make you're hormones go crazy. I know this easier said then done, but as soon as I took my break from baby making and not thinking about it I got pregnant. I really think stress has a huge effect on it. Just go with the flow of everything the doctor says and if you feel like you don't agree with what you're doctor says get another opinion. I switched to a total of 4 doctors. So go with what you feel is best for YOU.

Shawna - January 19

Thanks Elena, I'm so happy for you! It is a fertility specialist I'm going to tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to get things started. We having been stressing a lot about baby making. We don't temp or use opks. We just bd whenever we feel like it. The reason I'm going is to get my period regular. I've only had three periods since April. So I'm pretty sure I'm not ovulating. Your due date will be the beginning of september. Are your summers hot? Alexande was born at the end of Sept, so I was pretty miserable on the hot days! It is totally worth it though. If you have any questions, I don't mind answering them. All pregnancies are different, but sometimes it comforting to talk to someone with experience other than a specialist! Take it easy for the next 9 months! Keep us updated with all your news!

Elena - January 19

oh yea it gets hot were I'm at. I live in
Florida. So waiting to see how it goes because the summers get really hot!! about high 90's with humidity. But thanks. Good luck on you're appt

Shawna - January 20

Well my appt with the specialist was an eye opening experience. I found out I have a small cyst on my right ovary, but the dr didn't seem too concerned about though. I am also back on bcp for 2 weeks to get my period started again so I can take my first dose of clomid. I'm supposed to take it on cd4 and bd everyday from cd12 to cd20. Currently I'm on cd37 and he wants that number to come down to at least 35. I'm really excited to egt things started however, I am concerned about the clomid. He said symptoms can be similar to menopause and there is a one in ten chance of conceiving twins! Elena, I hope you have air conditioning! I found going swimming was really relaxing and cooled me down a bit. It also helped with the swelling in my ankles and feet. How many times have you patted, touched or rubbed your belly since your first positive? You're not going to stop doing that until your baby is born! I hope everyone is well! I'd like to hear from you all!
