hey alycia...where have you been??? i was wondering how your vacation was and if you have any good news to share?? holly...how are you?? i hope you are ok...

well hi ladies, im finally back. have been trying to post all day but there is something wrong with my internet and i keep getting discommected. i had a good weekend,. i got all my shoppping done and spent loads of money!!! i am so ready for christmas. i thought about you guys many times and im glad to hear that you are good, today is cd 35 for me. and i am officilallty the president of PTAA. friday night dh wanted me to test. and i got FAINT +ve that stayed there this time. saturday was our christmas party and i didnt want to drink and couldnt think up an excuse to get out of it. i caved and tested again saturday am (i know im insane!!) anyway it was -ve....ARGHHHH.. i went to the party, very disappointed and couldnt figure out what was going on. everyone was soo upset with me that i wasnt drinking and my only excuse was in soo tired from shopping LOL...LOL. anyway i came home sunday evening and got called into work. once there i borrowed a preg test from the hospital lab and did it. -ve so i put it in my pocket, half and hour later i went to dispose of the evidence lol and when i looked...... yep. another FAINT +ve ARGHHH what is going on. i called my nurse practitioner (family friend) and she advised me to get the blood work this am. so i did, the lab tech is also a friend who told me the same thing happend to her in early pregnancy... so she said that i could call her at 8 am in the lab and she will find the results on the computer adn give them to me right away!!!!! great to have friends in the hospital. so now i am on the dreaded 10 hour wait. i thnk that i am pg but im afraid that i wont be. what else could cause 2 +ves....i am a ltiitle confused as to why i got 2 -ves between... well this is going to be one sleepless night for me. and dh is away working!! i seriously am going to go crazy waiting. i soooo afriad that i wont get the news i so want!!! well i should go relax a litlle. i will post as soo as i get the results good or bad... OMG alycia!!! it sounds like you got really good news!!! oh, i'm sooo excited for you!! as soon as you find out for sure, let me know! that is the best Xmas present ever! i am so glad that one of us got some good news here! hopefully it will be contagious in this forum. :o) it's cool that you work in a hospital so you can get your results faster...it must be hard to wait this out. i dont know what i'd do with myself for that long waiting to hear whether or not you're pg. i'd probably go out and by 2 of every pg test and keep taking them until i got a call about the results because i'm such an active member of the PTAA! lol well i've totally got my fingers crossed (and legs and toes) for your bfp!! i'm still waiting, but i really dont feel like i am pg. no symptoms or anything so i'm sure af will be showing up in a day or 2. hey holly...where have you been?? i hope you're doing ok. have you stopped taking your clomid yet? well i have to go now, so i'll drop in later to see if there's some more good news! *~*~*LOTS & LOTS OF BABY DUST*~*~*

Hi Dee and Alycia.. I am here... hello..sorry ..been busy at work ..and so tired at the
same time..I have not been having a good sleep at night and these hot flashes are
driving me nuts!! Not to sure about that registering thing..must be new I agree..think it
may have something to do with the fake posts..I was still able to post though before I
logged in..wierd! Anyway.. ((Alycia)) My fingers are crossed for you that it is a BFP!!!
That would be such a cool Christmas gift for you!! I did stop taking the clomid on the
4th day as I felt so ill on it.. so instead of 5 days there were 4 days and 2 of those days I
took 25mg instead of 50mg..and wow!! Those hot flashes are still bugging me.. I don't
think that it is right for me to have hot flashes 3 days after taking the medication. I called
my RE but have not heard anything back as of yet. Even DH noticed that I don't look so
good while taking clomid.. I was not nice this time around..lol very very very cranky!! I will
ask my RE about the being allergic to it.. I think that they will have to put me on
something else not to sure what else..I will ask about Provera or Meformin... (Unless it
works for me this time..cross fingers). They did not want to put me on the 25mg
because they figured that it would not be as effective..or even work..but let me tell you..I
am so sensitive to medication that I am sure that it is working..heck ..with these hot
flashes I am sure that it is. Shopping for me..still have not even started..I have to buy for
our daughter but may have to send hubby to do the shopping for me. ..I don't like huge
crowds.. We went to the Zoo this weekend..was really nice out.not alot of people..omg
until we left..there were hundreds of people lined up to get in for the Christmas display
they have..we were bumping into people trying to get out..not doing that again!! lol
Dee..do you find that you always feel crapy when AF shows up?or before..I just recently
started feeling sick when she is due to arrive. I hope that the dr has some tests for you
so you find out why you are not getting pg.. I am in the same boat..I think with me though
it is cysts causing problems... I too hope the dr finds something that works for me..it is
frustrating.. and the pain thing kinda sucks too! lol Hope that you had a good day at
work.. Alycia..again..that is good news.. crossing fingers.. (making it hard to type..lol)
toes ..legs arms.. feet.. etc.. I hope that you get your BFP!!Did you get your internet
figured out? You work at the hospital? Good place to work.. I too work at the hospital but
don't have access to PG tests as my department does not deal with that kind of
thing..maybe I should ask someone in the lab here? Let us know what your results
are..hope that it is good news. LOL Dee.. that PTAA should be a real group..lol I would
do the same thing..except I like to buy the packs of tests with the two tests in them..lol
Man do I spend allot of money on them!! Well waiting for the drs office to call back..the
nurse did not sound too happy when I told them I halved the pills and that I only took 4
days..geshh I told them this ahead of time..anyway..waiting to hear back.. back to work..

hey girls, sorry it took me so long to post today but my internet is screwed!! everyone in town is having the same trouble so im not sure what the problem is! i keep getting booted off. HOLLY the hot flashes sound terrible and not normal (well i dont know whats normal for clomid..) but it sounds very uncomfortable. i hope you get through this okay! DEE i hope your af doesnt show!! i pray that someone will soon get the BFP... well i guess you have finally figured it out that im not pg.... sooooo sad and upset today. i woke up at 8 am and called the lab, my friend was off work today so i got ready and drove to the hospital. i found the results..lol they let me do these things myself its only a small hospital. i took it off the fax and i couldnt believe my eyes. the level was 0. i stared at it for like 5 minutes. i thought for sure i was. after lunch i went down to see my nurse practitioner and i showed her the two pg tests that i had faint +ves on. she has no explanation for what is going on?? i am soo confuised and scared that there is really something wrong. in nov i had to go on provera to start af, today is cd 35 and no sign of af yet. i am scraed that i will have to take provera again. why is this happening, why wont af just come so i can be regulated. i had no signs of O this month so i guess i didnt O. i spoke to my dr and he seems not that concerned. he said "we know you can concieve because you were pg once" ARGHHHHH. yes i was and that ended sadly in mc/ i am scared that there is a problem with my hormones or something. i want to be really agressive with this but my nurse practitioner and my gyne feel that its too soon. i have only been ttc for 6 months since the m/c but in total its been a year but they will only count from the m/c in june??? they dont understand how scraed i am right now. i dont want anything to be wrong. i even dreamt last night that my levels were 120 and that i was pg. wishful thinking. i was sooo sure. now i think that its my mind playing tricks on me. i cant explain the 2 faint +ves, its very weird, if no one else saw the results i would think that i am crazy. dh is really supportive and is as concerned as me. i am just so depressed today, i cried like 10 times. its just not fair!! AF please just show up so i can get on with ttc again. i have to go now and probably go to sleep. i will talk to you guys tomorrow some time!! take care. ~dust to all~

Hi ladies.. Sorry to hear about the neg result Alycia.. It will happen for you ..if not
now..sometime soon. Why are you scared of taking provera again? Is it the side effects?
I know how you feel when you get the + results..I have that happen to me as well. Please
let me know if they figure it out...Yeah the hot flashes are pretty terrible..glad that they
seem to be gone now. The doctor called back and told me that they want to look into
Superovulation with IUI.. I guess so that they can monitor me and to possibly lower the
risk of a eptopic PG. Even the drs office agrees that clomid does not work to well for me
as the side effects are not that great. Something has to work for me...maybe the clomid
will work for me this month? Crossing fingers/toes/hair/eyes..the list goes on and

hey girls. i hate when computers go down too...my company just added a new system and our computers keep freezing up on us, it really sux. i'm so sorry to hear that you got a negative result alycia....i really was hoping that you were pg! well like i said before-hopefully this next year will be better for us and we'll all get pg! it is really weird that you both get false +'s though....do you use the same brand every time or different ones? and if you use different ones, do certain brands tend to give you the false + while the others dont?? because those hpt's usually only test for hcg, which is only in your system when you're pg, and for them to be positive hcg has to be present...so it's odd that your hospital results show 0, but these hpt's are showing positives?? i would definitely ask your dr about that, because even if you were pg and mc you would still have hcg in your system and atleast that would kind of explain it. is there no other dr's you can see that would agree to take a more aggressive approach?? i would definitely see if you could get a 2nd opinion. i dont think they should count from your mc just because you did get pg, they should always count from the time you start ttc until you get to hold your baby in your arms because then it would be a succeful pregnancy. i hate the way some dr's think...i mean who are they to tell us when it's been long enough and whether you should take things a step further or not. it's our bodies and it will be our child, so why should they tell us what's long enough??? holly~ is superovulation when they give you fertility drugs to create more eggs or something?? are they going to put you on some other meds or just the superovulation and iui? i really hope that it works for you! i know 13 months is nothing compared to the 8 yrs that you have been trying, so i hope that they can find something that will really help this time. i'll definitely pray for your bfp this month, but in case you dont get it, i hope that this next procedure works for you with out causing you any pain. well it's 11 days until Xmas and i still haven't bought a single thing yet! i wonder how long i'm really going to keep this up until i give in and actually go shopping??lol i still dont know what i'm going to get anyone either...especially my aunt (who's more like my mother) because she has EVERYTHING...i'm not joking either! i'm going to be in a world of trouble if i dont get on it though. well i need to get some work done so i'll talk to you later.

Dee.. I thought that I would finish up the question you asked.. Superovulation is when they
give you the fertility drugs.. (nasal spray? something mentioned about that) and shots of
HSG and take lots of blood tests.. lots of ultrasounds.. along with the IUI.. don't know if it
would work for me.. I read that it can result in tubal pregnancy so that kind of freaks me
out a little bit. Thank you ..I hope that I get the BFP this month too.. Same for you.. :o) 10
days now until x-mas and too don't have any shopping done..uhhggg.. I wonder if it will
ever get done.. I have one day next week but only 2hrs..as my daughter has a half day..I
would go on the weekend but that would be just nuts!! lol no parking...too many

wow...does that ever result in multiple births?? also what does hsg stand for? i have to go shopping for atleast 1 present tonight because i have a secret santa thing to do with some friends, but other than that i still haven't got any shopping done! i'm hoping that i can get some done some time this weekend. i'll see though. well i'm gonna go post in the new thread so talk to you over there. :o)
