stepmommel, good luck your camping trip---sounds fun! As for my insurance I'm on a PPO plan with a co. called Great West. I get it through my employer who covers a lot of the costs though, so I am unsure that an individual can qualifiy. :( The insurance-thing can be such a downer, I wish you all the best at finding a new provider.

Hi ladies, I have been super busy at work and will be today, so I may not be back on till this weekend or Monday, but wanted to wish everyone a great weekend and happy bding! I did find out today that I might get to work the concessions at the Rolling Stones concert this weekend, so that should be really fun! I'll get to hear the Stones play for free! I did O on Tuesday, so I am cd17, 3dpo and in the tww....I go to Dr Tuesday and that will be cd21, so we will do progesterone test, sooo, we will see what that tells us! Well, baby dust to all, I will check back when I can!

mrshorse - September 29

It has to do with my last name. The first 5 letters are horst and my dh has been called horse since he joined the Air Force. So, that makes me mrs horse. I hope that helps and I know how crazy stuff like that can drive a girl lol. I am on cd 5, so I have another long month ahead of me. My sister said something the other day that is driving me crazy! She thinks it was ok b/c another woman said it to her. She ttc for over 10 years before having her baby. She said that at some point a woman just needs to give up. Was that her way of telling me to give up? I don't think so! I know that 6 years is a long time, but I'm still in my 20's, so I don't see why I should. I mean there have been times in the last 6 years that I've just said, "I quit", but ofcourse I don't mean it. I don't think that someone with five kids who has never had a problem having them has a right to tell me to give up my dreams. Am I overreacting? I haven't talked to her since she said that to me on Monday night. Baby dust so you all!

Sorry I really need to proof read before submitting. Sorry! I'm bad about that. I'll try to start though so it's easier for you all to read. Sorry!! Baby dust!

wendi77 - September 29

mrshorse, my dh and i are also in our 6th year and I am 29. No, we shouldn't give up! I hate when people tell me it is for a reason - someone please tell me the reason! I have a hard time understanding why God would give children to people who beat them or just leave them! Then I think well maybe He isn't giving me a child because I will end up with a child that has birth defects, etc that my dh and I won't be able to handle. None of us know the reason. My brother and sil spent over $20,000 to have their 2nd child and the baby has heart problems and I just know that my sil doesn't like the fact that she doesn't have a perfect child (she is wierd around the baby) and she couldn't wait until the 1st one went off to kindergarten so that he would be out of the house to give her peace and quiet. It drives me crazy to hear her talk sometimes - she should be happy to have 2 wonderful and beautiful children! I will be happy with just one! We will be wonderful mom's one day and we have to believe that it will happen sooner or later. So, don't give up - I'm not until I run out of money or can't mentally or emotionally handle it. We are still young and have lots of time! Everyone have a great weekend and lots of baby dust!

hey ladies? Did everyone have a nice weekend? Me, not so much, AF came a visiting. :(

Kristi1 - October 2

Hi ladies, hope everyone had a good weekend! Mine was busy...went shopping and bought new clothes and new coffee table and end tables, worked the concession at the Stones concert - that was very tiring, but fun and thier stage was awesome! Not much on the ttc front though as we are just in the tww...I am cd 20, 5dpo, so I still have another week to go! Well, hope you all are doing well!

Shawna1 - October 2

Hi Girls! I hope everyone is doing well? Kristi it looks like we are really close in our cycles again. I am 2dpo, I just wish my cycles weren't so long. My last cycle was 39 days. But at least I know I am ovulating! This is my second cycle since my hsg, so my fingers are crossed. Taylor left for Toronto again on Sunday. So hopefully we were able to get the job done! Who is Laine? I read acouple of posts referring to a Laine, but I can't figure out who that is. Kristi, did you see Elena's new pic witth Luke? Aren't they gorgeous? Ginger, sorry to hear about your unwelcome guest. Mrshorse, you, me and Shaua are all 29, that's neat! Mel, how was the camping trip? Were you supposed to O this weekend as well? How is everyone else? Take care!

Kristi1 - October 2

Shawan, wow we are close again! I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us! Wouldnt that be something if us two - the two from the original thread a year ago - got pg at the same time!! Laine is Mshorse....I think she told us her name about 1/2 way up the thread back in the middle of September or so....

Kristi1 - October 2

Shawna, sorry about mispelling your name....my fingers dont type as fast as my mind thinks! I also meant to tell you that yes, I did see the new pics of Luke! Did you go to her page and see the slide show?? What a sweetie!

stepmommel - October 3

Good morning ladies! How is everyone doing this morning? Hey Kristi and Shawna, I'm right behind you guys in my cycle. I woke up this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that my fertility monitor said I am about to O! FINALLY! Looks like the increased dosage of Clomid may have actually worked, and for the first time ever, I'll be with my dh for O, so we may actually have a chance! We'll be getting busy tonight, that's for sure. Should O within the next 24-36 hrs sometime. :) Ginger, sorry to hear about AF. That sucks so bad to discover, doesn't it? Oh, and thanks for the info on the insurance. I'll have to look into it just in case. Shawna, is your FIL still doing well I hope? Shauna, did you have a productive homecoming for your dh?? So, where did all the new girls go? Looks like maybe we're down to MRSHORSE, WENDI and GINGER!? Have a great Tuesday ladies! BABYDUST to us all!!!

ginger6363 - October 3

stepmommel, maybe all the other girls are bding? :) Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement. I started Femara today (cd5) and will be going in for the IUI next week. <<Sigh>> I was hoping beyond hope that last month would do it and we wouldn't need intervention so-to-speak, but it wasn't in the cards. I hope everyone else is having a good week!

Kristi1 - October 3

So Mel, what cd are you on? Good luck with the bding! Went to dr this morn, and everything was fine for my post-op surgergy check, just took out the stitches and I am all good! I even got some pics of my insides - pretty gross really ;-) Anyhow, she gave me another script for Clomid for one more month, soooo, if no pg this month, I will do Clomid again then go see the RE...I am to go ahead and make my RE appt as it takes 4-6 weeks to get into see them, but I think I will wait till next week and see if AF comes, then if she does, go ahead and make the appt. Dr thinks they will do IUI's right away since we have done everything else pretty much already.... She did mention putting me on Lupron for a while, but left the choice to me, but said if it were her, she would go on to the IUI's, and that was my thoughts as well....I mean I am going to be 35 next month and going on the Lupron would mean taking a break from ttc for 6 months then starting all over again, and she said my endo was mild so it was not like a must thing to do the Lupron. She also mentioned there was a possiblity the RE would put me on Lupron, but she thinks they wont worry about that at least for awhile, soooo, still just waiting!! They also did take blood to do the progesterone test, but will not get that back till tomorrow. So that is all for me, hope you are all doing well and happy bding to everyone - especially you Mel, get after it if its that time!! ;-)

mrshorse - October 3

Hello everyone. I'm cd 9 and had an appt yesterday. I finally finished all of my testing for IVF. Now I just have to wait for the results, then I can start scheduling it. I really hope that it works!! I'm happy to see you all again, I was beginning to think you all disappeared. Thank you guys so much for being here. It always makes me feel better just to see you all. It is so nice knowing that someone out there knows what this all feels like. So, thank you all so much for being here everyday. I just wish I would have found you all sooner. Baby dust to you all!

stepmommel - October 3

Ginger, you'll have to remind us closer to when you go in for the IUI so we can wish you well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Kristi, I'm CD15 today and the last time when I O'd it was CD16, so apparently when I DO o, I'm pretty regular. I'm glad to hear your appt went well and that you're all healed up! Why do they make you wait 6 months on the Lupron? That's all new to me. Mrshorse, what testing did they do that you're waiting for results on? Blood tests or something else? I'm so glad this thread is comforting to you. It really is such a relief to know other women struggling with the same issues, isn't it!?
