Went in this morning for my day21 progesterone test....they will call me this afternoon with the results. I took an HPT to see if the HCG is out of my body and it is pretty much out the door. I got a strong negative with the faintest positive line, so......... I am 8dpo/iui. Going nuts over here. Trying not to think about the whole pregnancy thing, but that's kind-of impossible. DH bought a camera yesterday because he's so sure it's going to happen soon. He said he had a very strong feeling yesterday, and that he's never had a feeling like that before. I wish we could rely on feelings. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did nothing. I've been sleeping so badly at night that I was just exhausted and didn't get a whole lot accomplished.

cmelissa, I didn't know it was the hsg you were getting. I thought it was a saline sono or a diagnostic hysteroscopy. The hsg is the absolute worst thing I ever went through in the ttc process. It was so painful that I felt disoriented after it was over. I feel for you!! As Tracy said, I got this bfp naturally. That was after 2+ years ttc, 5 iuis w/clomid (one natural cycle w/clomid) and 2 rounds of injectibles. The $ didn't worry me at all with ivf--my insurance is great. It only would have cost me $200 for the whole thing plus about $100 for the meds! So October 3 will be your estimated ER day? How exciting! Are you on supression now? I saw you and Tracy were discussing careers. What do you do? Sorry if you have said and I forgot. Tracy, I had insomnia in the early preg days. Maybe that is your first sign! I took a hpt at 9dp and the hcg from the trigger was gone. If you keep testing every day at the same time, maybe you will actually see it getting darker!

Ann, great to have you back. How was Vegas??? I am going to be gone a lot soon. I'm almost positive I am going to Indianapolis this weekend (Thurs-Mon) and then my family is flying down here next Thursday for my mom's birthday, then I am leaving for NY and Vermont......I think. I told DH that our NY/Vermont trip would not allow us to do another round of injectables and he said if we are not PG and have no cysts then we are cancelling and staying home to do the shots, etc.... I thought that was so sweet. Ann, at the dollar store I bought like 5 tests, but now that I know the HCG is pretty much gone, I think I'd be too scared to ruin my mood on my trip this weekend if they don't get darker. My beta has been changed to Tuesday so I can make this trip. Be back later.

Tracy, I have always been a big fan of the $ store tests, until I got my bfp. I took the $ hpt on Saturday morn (first pee), and it was a clear bfn. Then Sunday night I took the opk and got a dark line. Monday morning I took the ERPT, and I got a very DARK line. I am not so sure they work well. I am glad your beta is pretty soon! I can't wait to see the answer. Vegas was pretty much just a big waste of money. It was not a good place to be pg. I knew it wouldn't be, but I still thought it would be good to get away. It was a bummer not being able to go out to party at the clubs, couldn't ride the roller coasters, and the smoke in the casinos was terrible (I am allergic plus the heightened sensitivity from being pg and not having any alcohol to numb my senses). It was so hot that I couldn't even stand to go to the pool! We were also going to go see the dam, but I couldn't take the heat. We did see Phantom (dh had never seen), and that was fun. We also ate well. However, I should have gone to another destination. Oh well!

Ann, do you know what your progesterone was the month you got PG or were you not being monitored at all at that point? Mine is at 28. That's good because it's higher than 15, but I had better numbers on clomid. On clomid I had a 32 and a 53. What do you think? When they did my last U/S I had four mature follies. The nurse said it looks like I probably ovulated a couple of them???? This whole process sucks. I really don't know how much longer I can live my life like this.

I'm really sorry your trip wasn't all that you'd hoped for. I had a friend who was so psyched about going to a concert, but because she was pg she had a miserable time. It happens I guess. Glad you are back though. Just make sure that if you go anywhere else soon that it's to the mountains where it's nice and cool and the air is fresh!

A quiet beach sounds pretty good to me--just one that isn't too hot. I think your progesterone sounds great. I wasn't tested during my bfp or any other times in my iui cycles. All of my drs preferred to check for O via u/s--they said the progesterone checks aren't as accurate. However, the one time I was tested on a natural cycle, my number was way less than that--around 10 maybe--I can't remember. I wouldn't put much stock in that. The important thing is that you Oed and the timing for iui was right! Your chances are great--don't stress about it!!

Hey Tracy and Ann, Sorry i haven't posted i was off yesterday and today and also will be tomorrow so have been out and about! Tracy gl with the progesterone test!! Ann i had the diagnostic hysteroscopy done i thought that was worse then the hsg! Oh I work in new home sales - I work in a nice model home too! What do you do?? I'm still taking the bcp's right now and will start the lupron the 13th and the meds on the 23rd~ Tracy have fun in Indianapolis - I was actually born there! Sounds like you have a lot of traveling coming up! My only trip this fall will be to West Palm Beach for a company trip - cant wait!! ANn how was Vegas?? Where did you stay? I have seen the Phantom of Opera and loved it!! Tracy I know this ttc stuff is so emotional I may talk to a fertility specialist counselor that is at my dr. s office she my be able to help with my anxiety and worries! cmelissa, sorry your experience was so bad w/the diagnostic hys. Everyone else I have heard say has said that it was like an iui. Worse than the hsg?? Yikes! We stayed at the Bellagio in Vegas. It was nice. Like I said above, Vegas wasn't great pg. I had seen Phantom a couple of times, but my dh had never seen it. I could see that one lots of times, though. My favorite is still Les Miz!. I love the music. I am a CPA and do international tax consulting in Dallas. Where do you live? I know you have said before. My memory is lousy pg.

Hey Ladies - Ann you stayed at the Bellagio - thats one of the best ones there right?? Sorry it wasn't as fun pregnant! I'm hoping to go maybe for New Years so we will see!! Cmelissa---I have been to Vegas for New Years and it was pretty cool. We did the Freemont Experience for the countdown. I am going to be gone from tomorrow until Monday afternoon and then PG test is on Tuesday morning....should know results by 4:30 that day. Not holding my breath. I'm very scared. Don't know how I'll handle a BFN at this point. I feel like I'm starting to break. I'm not sleeping very well, I'm moody and tired and very emotional.

Tracy, try to take it one day at a time. If you get a bfn, you are strong and can handle it. Like your dh said, you will cancel your trip and work more on getting pg!! Try not to think that far ahead, though. Just be positive to sway fate! Hopefully you will get your bfp and won't have to worry about it. Are you going to wait for your beta or do more hpts?

I don't think I trust HPT's......maybe it's just that I'm too afraid that the BFN's would be right. What do you think? I'll be gone all weekend so I don't really want to ruin my trip if every morning I wake up to a BFN.

Hey guys, Ann - well my Mil is moving in hopefully only for a few months until she finds a place - she was supposed to move to FL and then changed her mind and had already sold her place, etc.. so she will be with us until she finds a new place. Tracy we will miss you - be sure to post as soon as you find out on Tuesday - i will be sending you tons of baby dust! Also i may wait on the hot tub until you find out just to be safe - you definitely dont want to overheat! Well have a great time!
