Hey Linds! Good morning everyone! My level was really 79... okay not much but every little bit counts right?? My pregnancy stick came up instantly and darker today so I feel certain that it's rising... time will tell. I wanted to mention something that's really sad... and has me worried. The day I conceived was Thursday 2 weeks ago. That is the same day we put our old dog down. My husband said last nite in a very touching moment that he knew God would do this for us... We took a life so we received a life. I'm not a super religious woman but I do go to church regularly and I do believe in God... I just have to believe that He will make this happen for us. We also decided laying in there in the dark, that if we had a boy we'd name him Dixon (after Dixie our dog). Okay am I a mush or what. Just when a man has a moment like that it's so touching.

Lovemy3, where are you today? And way to stick it to them AngelKitty! And yes, Dana you need to let your husband rebuild his supply. Sounds like you just wore him out this cycle! Good luck and welcome to the 2ww!!

Aww Pam, that is soooo touching. Your husband is right...a life was taken away, and now you guys were given one. Dixon sounds like a cool name. There is a town in Illinois called Dixon, that is where Ronald Regan was born. (Just a little trivia :) Hey, I wanted to add something to the earlier chat about the saving the swimmers before o time... I have been reading that it may not be good for DH to hold on to swimmers too long, (I think longer than 3-4 days) as the longer it stays inside him, the motility is compromised (but not morphology). That means "speed" degrades. And did you know that male sperm tend to die off quicker but swim faster (which if you bd closer to o'time, then you increase your chances for having a boy) and girl sperm tend to live longer but swim slower (they hang out in the tubes longer waiting for the egg.)

Pam, that 79 is a nice first early beta...I'd totally feel good about that one. (I hope you have boy!)

Pam, I love the name Dixon!!! Great name. And yes, when God closes a door somewhere He opens a window!!! The nun Maria said so in the movie The Sound of Music. My middle name came from her. It is very true - He does that for me all of the time. Linds, I have given more blood than you can imagine. I am quite sure the Red Cross has put a tracking device in me somewhere. Literallly, I can give blood on a Monday and they are calling me again on Friday. But I do not mind. My blood usually goes to babies.

Linds I've heard that also! That you shouldn't let his sperm build up. We had sex Fri and Sat the weekend before and then nothing until Thursday. So 5 days. My husbands sperm has 100% mobility (according to 2 sa) and he had alot but I can't remember how many. So I'm sure that Thursday night was quite a load!!! so to speak ;) Oh and who really cares and way too much information, but sometimes I have an O and sometimes I hold it in... Just testing to see what works and Thursday nite I had an O. I've heard that can help. And AngelKitty that is so nice that you can help people like that!! Such a simple thing you're doing by giving blood and just imagine all the lives you're helping. So sweet..

Pam, do you mean you hold back from reaching O?

Linds- They did say that the temp of his scrotum from constantly sitting is what kills & affects the motility, count & etc My dr said before he had the anaylsis done that he probably doesnt have any live sperm. She was very wrong there. THe count was at 9 million BUT we lost the first amount of ejaculate (which i read has 90% off the sperm.) Alot of people like him cant even ejaculate or sustain an erection which he is TOTALLY normal there. His was low in Motility & morphology BUT not as low as a paraplegic they say usually is..

pmblake - i think i wore him out every cycle so far then! i WILL so have to watch how much we bd.

I agree! Dixon is so sweet!! what a sweet dh

TTC3, so your feelings of not rushing to IVF is totally warranted. I'd feel the same way too. Your husband can really pat himself on the back, he's not lumped in "their" norm at all then. Doctors, and I am speaking from experience, are not always right. I hate when they treat people the same way like the next tom, dick and harry that happen to have what they have. I really hope that you don't have to do IVF and this happens naturally for you, your family sounds like it has been through enough b/s.

To boost his motility and morphology, get him on some vitamins. They make male blend developed to increase his count, motility, etc. Fertility Bled I believe is the name for male. Have you heard of it??

pmblake - March 7

Is it mobility or motility?? I've been saying mobility. You can see how much I know about these things... Oh and yes Linds. Last cycle I didn't have an orgasm through my entire fertile period. Weird huh? I didn't want push any sperm out of have "hostile" cm so I saved it for after O. Then this cycle, I had an orgasm Thursday night. I called it a BIG O so it must have been earth shattering ;) I've read different takes on having an orgasm and not. have you?

linds99 - March 7

I've heard different opinions about it all too. Who knows what the truth about o is really...no concrete studes have been done proving it increases pregnancy rates. (Those women in Africa that get clitorectomies would never get pregnant then because they never get an orgasm without a clitoris.) Anyway, I tried the "spooning thing" last night and can't o that way, but I did notice that non of the man juice came out...it all seemed to stay in better. So that was my little "TMI" moment today ladies :) P.S. Pam, it is actually motility. (but mobility makes sense too in terms of traveling...;)

pmblake - March 7

ahhhhh I got it now. That's why I've been calling it mobility... it moves.. Thanks for clairfying that. And I'm glad you're experiementing w/ the different positions and taking notes and you're right!!! I do remember nothing falling out and wondering if any came out at all! That makes perfect sense that it just never came out. oh, I just had a huge wave of nausea come over me. It only lasted about 20 minutes but it was ugly. Like a tequila hangover ugly. I could't imagine having morning sickness everyday. ANGELKITTY is that what you're having... waves of sickness?

pmblake - March 7

Oh Linds, Blake rocked last night! I love that 311 song. Oh and I like Jared Cotter (sp?). Am I a dork for liking a such a meathead?

linds99 - March 7

I'd do anything to have morning sickness :) I felt robbed of that pregnancy experience, I hope I get sick like the taquila hangover the next time I get pregnant, that will make me feel better about the pregnancy after experiencing nothing. You know? I think that is a good sign when you get nausia, the hormones are increasing...

linds99 - March 7

Seriously, Blake is the best guy, most orignial, most talented, most himself. I love that guy, I want him to win. But Chris was great too...he's got puppy like qualities. And ya, Jared, he's good, he'll be around for a while, but he won't win this thing...(So glad your an Idol dork like me!!)
