Should I hold off until AF is done??

I'm still waiting for AF to arrive. I have long cycles but this month is the longest yet. I've been having what seems to be ewcm now, when I have been expecting AF. I'm waiting until the next cycle to try an OPK, but does anyone think I shouls start them now?? Or will I just be wasting money?? Thanks..
