andy to answer your question YES! My weight dropped by a dstone and a half and guess what I had three periods bang on the dot and then got pregnant.Weight gain is a direct symptom of pcos aithough few people are told that. pcos acts on the body in a similar way to diabetes with the added problem of fertility problems. Maybe ott exercise could work for you too? at the very least it will speed up your metabolism.

thank you Jo - Ann ... do you think it is possible that may be I don´t ovulate the CD14 ... but later??? ( I have an exact 28 day cicle, cicle lenght 2 1/2 days , no cramps , lot of lots, )

Sorry...should have made that clearer. Basically, I was saying that high prolactin levels CAN affect whether you ovualte sucessfully or not. Most women do not ovulate when their prolactin levels are high (when they are breastfeeding) and if you are having fertility issues, prolactin is one level (among many) that they might check. Sorry for any confusion. If you have high prolactin levels and are not ovulating...it could be related. Then again, it might not be the only cause.

Andy its always possible that you dont ovulate precisely on dat 14...after all we aren't all built the same so it would be natural to assume that some women ovulate on dat 15 or 13. When i do have regular periods my cycle can be 31 days.I At the moment I am keeping a temperature diary. I take my temperature every morning and evening and keep a record of results. This will give me a good idea of when and if I ovulate as your temp dips but in the meantime I have a good clear record of my normal temp. Try doing the same and see if this tells you which day you ovulate and if you do. The bad news is that it takes a few months to see whats going on. Good Luck!!

I have not ovulated yet this month and I am starting to get frustrated!! I should have ovulated days an days ago. I am cd 25!! My cycles are usually around 38 days with a 17 day lutal phase. This means I'm looking at at lease a 42 day cycle if I would ovulate tomorrow, which I won't. I am using the Clear Blue Easy Fertility monitor, and I haven't even reached high fertility yet. It usually gives you 3 - 5 days high fertility before you ovulate. I don't know whats going on.

could it be posible to not ovulate at all in a month and still your normal period'????

Andy - yes that is possible. It's called an anovulatory cycle. You can research that term if you like for more info as I don't know a whole lot about it.

And...I agree with Jo-Ann. Temping could help you IMMENSELY. It will just put all the other symptoms of o into a package for you based on your temps and then once you know you have o'd, you don't have to worry about it anymore. I say start tomorrow...get yourself in the practice of it so that if you have to go through another cycle, you will be in the mode. Check out fertilityfriend.com for a free test trial that will track your temps for you and do some interpretations of your cycle. It's great! Basically, just temp at the same time every day and write it down. The key is trying to do it at the same time. But you will see o when your temp takes at least a .4 degree jump, which isn't huge in the grand scheme of things, but big enough to determine o. That website will help you figure it out. Good luck!

i used to take clomid but my body does not respond to it. Did iui with injectable before but not successful too. Did ovarian drilling but period was only regular for 2 cycles. I'm now on herbs and try the natural way, it's effective as i begin having period after not having it for some time :) hopefully it'll work :)
