My lmp was 6-1-05. I went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago. She did a pelvic, a pap smear and an ultrasound. I have no cysts, no tumors and no other problems. She did treat me for a yeast infection and I have finished the medication. Last night, I got my period which I was thrilled about because we can now start TTC. (after 3 months of negative testing and then an ultrasound to prove it, hubby was so disappointed that he wants to try now lol). But my period is really bright red and is very heavy and hurts really BAD. I am just wondering if anyone else with irregular cycles has a very heavy bright red painful period after it has been a while?
