I did injectables last month and I have been suffering from sever pain off to my left side and in the middle of my pelivs.. Good Luck with your babys... Toni how are you doing...

Judi - December 6

Hi everyone. Toni...I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been through. I am glad that the baby looks okay. I can imagine how scared you must be. I will definitely keep you and your baby in my prayers. I think everything's going to be fine. Listen to your OB...they're the experts. Please keep us posted on how you're doing. Jeana...I'm so sorry for your loss. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. Edy...congratulations! That's wonderful news and I know you are thrilled. I have some good news of my own to share...I had my ultrasound today, and we are having a girl! Both my husband and I had a feeling that it would be a girl, and we were right. She looks perfect. The doctor said that everything looked normal and he saw nothing of any concern at all. It was a level II ultrasound, so we saw most of her organs, including her heart, and also her spinal cord and ribs. She is a very active baby! We are so excited, and very grateful. To everyone who is still trying, definitely keep your hopes up. We had only a 5% chance of conception through IUI, and our first try gave us this little angel! Becky...I used Follistim injectibles for my IUI cycle, and I had a good bit of pain on my left side. When I had my first ultrasound after conception, we saw that my left ovary was twice the normal size as a result of the meds, so that's probably the reason. Other than that, everything was fine.

Thanks for everyone's kind thougths and prayers. I am doing better today. Edy I can't believe your on bed rest too. It gets hard but it is worth it. I had 3 months of that with my dd. Jeana I was wondering where you were and I am so sorry to hear that. I know how you feel and there are no words. When I thought I was having one Sunday I could not say it aloud either. I will pray for you and I hope you will want to try again. Lee I am off of work and on the couch. I will stay there till it's all clear. But it is scarey. I am just gonna listen to the ob. Thanks for being there.

AmyR - December 7

Oh Toni I'm sorry, but I know things will be o.k. just listen to OB and do exactly what they say. Edy- Congrats, I can't believe your'e having twins maybe even triplets.. WOW Jeana- I am so sorry for your loss, we're all here for you. Hi to everyone else...

Judi - December 7

Thanks, Becky. I think I had some mild pain a few days before I found out that I was pregnant, and then I had the sharp, achy pains on the left side until I was about 6 weeks along. My early signs were extremely sore breasts (it hurt to take a shower), and breakouts on my face. My husband also said later that I'd had the "glow" that pregnant women seem to have, but he didn't tell me then because he didn't want to get my hopes up. I also had a lot of AF-like cramping for the two days prior to the day that I tested, and for a couple of weeks afterward. Good luck!

Jeana I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers as you deal with your loss. Toni, so sorry you had to miss your own party but it will be worth it when the baby is born and you can tell your stories to him/her about missing the party. Keep your feet up and relax as much as you can.Edy, wow twins or triplets congrats. I hope your pregnancy with multiples goes smoothly. You will probably show early. Judy a baby girl -how fantastic.

Lee - December 7

ISA-I know how difficult all of this is for you. There are good things coming for you, I know it in my heart.

LSB - December 7

Jeana - my sympathy and prayers are with you. Toni - my prayers are also with you that the rest of your pregnancy will go smoothly. Edy & Judi - congratulations to both of you on your wonderful news! Lee - about the adoption of the 4 kids - hubby & I did a pros and cons list based on all the facts we had, we decided that we would have to “regretfully” pass on the opportunity. Also -question: I had my IUI on 11/22 - Is it too early to test? I keep on looking at the HPT box, too afraid to open it.

isa - December 7

LSB after my iui's we go in for bloodwork the 13th day after 1st iui and they said if you are using home tests wait til 14 days after. So you are 15 dp iui I'd test. Good luck and tons of baby dust. Lee thanks for your support.

sorry....this is kindda long, but my best friend sent this to me, I thought Id share it with the rest of you:
WHAT MAKES A MOTHER?
Written by Jennifer Wasik
In memory of Zachery Wasik.
I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say.

"A Mother has a baby"
This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother,
When your baby's not with you?"

"Yes, you can," He replied
With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.

Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day.
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay."

"I just don't understand this God
I want my baby to be here."
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.

"I wish I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child's smile,
With all the other children and say...

'We go to Earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much,
I got to come strait here.

I feel so lucky to have a Mom,
Who had so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quickly,
My Mommy set me free.

I miss my Mommy oh so much,
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow's where I lay

I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear.
Mommy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here.'

"So you see my dear sweet ones,
your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home,
And this is where they'll stay.

They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lesson's through.
And on the day that you come home
they'll be at the gates for you.

So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart
it's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start

Though some on earth may not realize,
you are a Mother.
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day
and know that you are the best one!"

isa - December 7

Jeana thank you for sharing that. I have a very dear friend who needs to read that and I have copied it over and sent to her. Thanks for sharing.

Judi - December 7

LSB, I tested positive at 13 days post IUI, so I don't think it's too early for you to test. Keep us posted!
