GOGO- Do you remember what your beta was the first time you tested?
ROBYN- My next BETA is Friday.
I talked to my doctor regarding the progesterone, he told me not to worry.
Again I was told the Crinone doe not show up in the blood.
I will be back- I want to go read everyone's posts.

Hi ROBYN, I know you have been through such a journey... and I hope that this next time will bring you a bundle of joy! I am TTC #1, never been prego. 36 & dh 40... something we want real bad....
Now I have read you guys post that before... are those shots really that painful? UGH! GOGO, Hi. I still can't believe 3 of them??!!! WOW! Like I said.... you give me such hope! Missed you after you moved off the other thread. Hi LEAH, good to have someone from the other thread jump on with me! You had some good questions, I would love to know the answer too. Hi Tink, again Congrat's on your +! you just like GOGO have been my inspiration. Need to ask, did you have any syptoms that made you think you had endo? Did you have any issue w/ your FSH level? SASHA, HI! Wow someone else from the old thread!!! Looks like you will be moving on to IVF too? Will you start right away or no? KBinParis, thanks so much for the info. You are right, I love my RE but maybe I need to confirm things once again. Thanks & CONGRATS to you on your little one!

Hey Chele I am 38 and Dh is 34 we got married 10 months ago and are ttc #1 together and #2 for me as you have probably read. As for the shots no they are not painful people differ with the progesterone shots they can be painful since they are intramuscular and done in the butt cheek. But when we get that far i can give you some pointers that will work. (:

Well, thank God the HSG is over. I pray that I will never get another one of those. Jeez... First, I was downstairs and I filled out paperwork. I saw a woman who was doing the same. We were sent to the same radiology dept. So, I asked if she was getting the same thing done. She said "Yes" and that this was her second time getting it done. She told me it was extremely painful... She mentioned a rod and that was it. So, she went in and I was scheduled after her. She seemed terrified. I really didn't want to see her face afterward... I prayed for abit and asked God why I couldn't go in first... Within in miniutes she came out and I was told that I was going in first and that she had to reschedule because she started bleeding last night. She made her self so nervous that somehow she caused herself to bleed. I don't know... But anyway they took me in and explained the procedure. I laid back and the tech cleaned me up, put the speculum in and then the catheter in. Nothing hurt just yet... Then he inflated the balloon. Still no pain. I saw everything on the monitor. Oh, boy. Then the pain came when the dye came out. Period like cramps? Yeah, right! Wow, Mama! My period cramps have never been like that... Anyway, it was over within about 10 minutes. Hope, that doesn't mean anything since it ended so quickly. My pad was soaked with blood. Still bleeding... Called the Fert Inst and they said the tech may have scrapped my cervix. If it's still bleeding bad, I will call tomorrow but it should be OK. Results will be called in this evening. I pray all is well. My pain now isn't as bad. Contractions seem further apart. LOL! It's done! I decided to go and do the rest of my bloodwork, also. 12 more viles. I was in pain but wanted to get it out the way... Its sunny in NYC. Had to enjoy it while its here,,, After the bloodwork, I came home and slept. Hystereosonograph at 12:30 on friday... Just venting...

isa - March 28

ms monet sorry for you painful hsg. Mine was also but only for a brief minute and then it was ok and then off and on cramps for the evening. I only had a touch of the dye on the pad they gave me and only a tad of blood on the tissue later on. Keep an eye on the bleeding as it does sound like they hit something. leah i have only made it thru one ivf (i'm 41, dh 42) and we transfered 3 great embies but bfn. I have just cancelled this ivf as i had one dominant follicle and we did iui today and will do another tomorrow. As one of the others said they need 4 follies min and my others were too slow to respond this month. I have had to cancel several times for various reasons. Once back in sept due to over suppression from lupron (after $6000 in meds no less ugh) and then after we cancelled i ended up not ovulating, had to go on provera to bring on af, and it came, then when i went in on cd2 for u/s,b/w i had cysts and e2 too high so they said no go, then in 12 more days i had another af that they said was from the cysts (after having u/s) and they put me on bcp's for 21 days which unfortunately suppressed me again and that is why i only ended up with 6 follies, 4 eggs, 3 fertilized (as mentioned above). That was in jan, then i had to take a month off from meds (doc always makes us wait a month in between ivf's) and then my fsh jumped up to 28 ahhhhh, scary stuff (its never been higher than 15.9 which was my ivf cycle that i got the bfn and that was the highest ever) so anyways we cancelled that cycle and we waited to this month and fsh was 12 so we cycled but i had this damn dominant follie that just was going gang busters and we had to cancel but since the cancel fee was no different than switching to iui we switched it over. So chance is probably under 5% but it was better than natural since we will only use the best sperm for iui and it gets put where it should be. We also did saline sonogram, mycoplasm swabs, karyotpying (genetic stuff ) after i'd had no luck getting pg, we did oodles of bloodwork, and a bunch of other tests i cant seem to think of off hand but no i did not do a lap. My choice, he offered i said no. I dont believe i have any endo. Dh has low sperm and motility but fine for ivf and iui (today he had 86% motility and 6.4 million after wash) but he has been as high as 74 mill (on our ivf cycle). Other than that we have no idea other than my age what our problem is. ok enough said this is too long now.

ROBYN - March 28

ISA - how did everything go today? I read you post and I dont know if i missed what you said about the IUI. MS MONET - OW sorry your HSG was painful. DId they tell you take anything before the procedure? I did mine last year and took a couple of pain killers before and i didnt feel a thing also my RE does the HSG for the reason that you are probably in pain because he doesnt like the techs doing the test. Plus he gives you the result right then. I have to have another one done in a few weeks because its been a year and the RE wants to do it since we had a D&E on the 20th of Feb. Are you still bleeding? If you are i would definitely call the RE and see what they tell you. I had some minor cramping no bleeding but everyone is different and then you went and gave 12 viles of blood girl... you are brave LOL.

Hi Barzee--my beta was 725 at 14 dpo but I was growing three of them :D Chele--I had no symptoms of endo and was actually never tested for it, and never had any high FSH issues (perhaps that's why I was never tested). Janae--what did your nurse say today? How have you been feeling? Everything should be fine :D Well guys today I saw ANOTHER doctor (number two of three) and he was great, got a tour of the NICU and another ultrasound ROFL--this was number 5! They have grown SO MUCH!! All of them were measuring right to the day (8 weeks 4 days), around 1.91 cm. When I saw them last Friday, they were still at one end of the sac and didn't take up the whole end, this time, they filled up about 1/3 of the sac!!!! Plus I got a tour of the NICU, which really impressed me since every other place they act like you need to schedule the tour with some other third party. They're going to bring me through labor and delivery when I come back in three weeks. So I saw one baby that had been born at 25 weeks and was now 28 weeks old...wow, how tiny. The nurse said that they don't really grow that fast once they're out. I hope I deliver later than that!

Thanks, girls. I took 4 (200mg) Motrins before hand,,, I wanted to make sure I felt no pain... ROBYN-I am still bleeding. Its not dark red but mixed with the lubricant. All of the brown dye is gone. I just checked and it's not much blood... It should hopefully be gone in a few hours,,,

ROBYN - March 28

JODY - cool you got to take a trip to the NICU and you liked the doc too. I still cant believe youre having triplets. Its amazing to hear that. JANAE did you have u/s today? Where are you? Ms Monet - glad the bleeding is stopping thats good just rest for the remainder of the day i am sure everything is fine.

leahb5 - March 28

hey girls....robyn i know that they wont do ivf with only one but i'm wondering if its just totally differnt stimming and a longer stimming for the from the iui. that is when i only developed one and i was only on the lowest does of meds. i'm hoping the clomid challange test will help them produce more. that is amazing with as many follies as you produced. will it be a shorter cycle for you then? not as many needles at least.huh. well i appreciate all the answers. you guys are pros in here!!!! hey go go.....i cut a set of triplets hair and they are 5 now. there mom carried them untill 38weeks....she said she just took it easy and relaxed. so i hope you do the same!!!! do you work and is it a laboring job? i think triplet are going to be a blast, youre so lucky! do you have any feelings as to what youre having?? will you find out?? how about you tink will you find out what youre having?? good luck to all and tons and tons of babydust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROBYN - March 29

Leah I never did IUI my doctor felt that in my particular case that an IUI sucess would not be that high with my scar tissue and gave us a 50-60% chance on IVF so that was route we went. I did very well on the stim medicine and my retrieval was actually 5 days earlier then expected. So I am sure the medicine is different and more intense for stimulation from an IUI. Also this cycle for me is much different then a fresh cycle i will only be doing bcps, lupron injections (to supress ovulation completely) and estrogen patches which i havent been on and dont know much about. Also I believe that you normally stim for about 10 days dont quote me on that it could be more depending on response or less depending on how well. For me it was about 5 days total.

chele - March 29

Thanks ROBYN, I'll take you up on that. MSMONET, I understand... when I had mine done it was very painful however, I only spotted for a bit. GOGO, wow I can't even imagine how you feel right now... you are so lucky x3!

SashaP - March 29

Hey Chele!! I have to wait a little while to start. I passed the initial phase of getting into the study but I have to meet with the Dr to go over all the testing that I've already had done. After my consultation he orders the blood tests I need done and a day 3 follicle scan. If those come back ok then I start with my next cycle. I was pretty happy to see that most IVF clinics offer the clinical trials. When are you starting your IVF cycle?

MsMonet - March 29

Congrats, Sasha. I know that you have to be really excited. Gogo-Do you find that you are eating for 3?

JB0405 - March 29

Ladies, I am doing well! Thanks for the support... no more LOL ROBYN!!! LOL!! JODY-my nurse never called me back which means that my SIL probably didn't give her the message. I felt good right after the pain waas gone and have felt fine ever since. That tour sounds great! I'm glad that they were more than happy to do that for you. I sure hope that you stay pregnant way past 25 weeks. ROBYN- I had my u/s on Monday and everything was good! The 4 chanbers of the heart were formed, the placenta
was visible and you could make out the head from the body. She said he was moving around, I didn't see that but DH said he saw it, I have to wonder where I was at that point, LOL! Where's MEGA??? Hi Stacie, Linds, DCL, LEAH, CHELE & MsMonet!! If I didn't mention you, please don't take it personally, I love you too!!! LOL!!! WE NEED A NEW THREAD!!! THIS IS WAY TOO LONG!! WHO WANTS TO START THE NEW THREAD???!!

barzee - March 29

I think it is normal to be nervous right now. I have my 2nd BETA tomorrow- I am just praying that my #'s are doubling. Is it doubling or tripling that they are looking for?
The progesterone problem still weighs on my mind as well.
I dont know if it is possible. But....I look pregnant alreay. My stomach has bulged out- which I know is probably from the hormones.
