early bleeding before the period

I had 1 unsuccessful ivf this month. Had retrieval on 9/5, transfer on 9/10 and spotting on 9/16 and period on 9/21. Usually period should start after 14 days of ovulation. In this case it started on 11th day after ovulation. (In my case ovulation means the retrieval). Early period means my body is not generating enough progesterone? also used 200mg of progesterone 3 times daily vaginally. can somebody please explain this?
