Good, keep up with the positive attitude. HPTs aren't 100% accurate at picking up all pregnancies, some produce less hcg levels in the beginning that they're able to pick up. So, as you say, there's still hope til AF shows. Hang in there. Nothing else plays with our emotions like this TTC business. I'm on CD 15 or so right now, still haven't ovulated yet. It's now looking like I won't do my IUI til Friday, though I guess I'll know more after my u/s tomorrow.

hey mega! i will be tracking u the next 14 days.. wish u luck. one queestion ! why u should have IVI done , is natural intercourse not enough for ur case!! i think it's helpfull if u hold intercourse daily.. this is supposed to be ur most fertile period ,,,so keep up the good work . tell me what happens tomorrow with the U/S!

Thanks Kotkot, I will. The reason my DH & I are doing IUI is that we have male & female issues. I have PCOS & he has low morphology so doing the IUI gives his sperm a leg up, which is an advantage that they need. Plus the sperm washing they do helps get rid of the bad sperm which also is an advantage. We still have intercourse of course, but now we mainly do it for ourselves rather than the added pressure of conception.

Hi Kotkot. I'm sorry to hear about the BFN. Keep positive. Hi Mega. We decided to not have the IUI. My DH gave me the trigger shot Sat. morning and we BD all weekend (TMI). His sperm is not the problem, I'm the one with the unexplained infertlity. I still have a couple of more tests to get.

Lisa, well in that case since there's not really male issues, the trigger & lots of BD may be all it takes for you guys. I hope so!

hey lisa and mega.. how are u doing girls .. hope fine! i am 3 days late with two BFN'S and yeah i got used to that .. if my period arrives i will take a break this month .. i already took an appointment the 28th with the most famouse fertility specialist over here .. so wish me luck girls.

hey mega.. maybe that sounds silly but i want to shar eu with my DH seminal analysis results..his counts were 517.5million/volume for the morphology he has 65% normal forms.. for the motility he has 15% active at 6hours.
my doctor said that the tests are ok .. but he stopped at the motility analysis and said that it is akind of low (eventhough he said that most of other doctors will say that 15% is just normal ) .. my DH has been under antibiotics for a month to get rid of prostata thing which the doctor suggests to be the reason .. anyway.. any comments on the results??? can u relate it to ur DH results.

Hey Kotkot. Wow, your DH's count is fantastic. Way, way above average. My DH's count is pretty high too, which does somewhat offset our morphology issue, I believe. We have 5% morphology, which on the strict kruger count, still somewhat low. I don't know much about motility of sperm, though if you've read 15% is normal, that's probably the case. I think as his dr said, the motility can be affected by the antibiotics. Maybe he should get retested in a couple of months, maybe the motility will go up. You know, maybe in light of the motility issue, perhaps your dr might be able to do an IUI, it'll get the sperm closer to your eggs, thus giving them a leg up. I'd think IUI might be helpful for mild motility issues like your DH's. How're you doing? Is AF still staying away? Good luck! HTH!

hey mega ... seems that we are both on line.. anyways.yeah an absent AF is almost killing. guess what i want to share u with this little thing.. i did my third hpt alittle while .. a faint line is there .. i do not want to impose myself thinking iam pregnant .. i do not want to make high hopes but that's the reading i got. i do not know what to do .. what do u advice?? i think that i will waite for another couple of days and i will run a blood test maybe by saturday! u know whay iam not that excited. my first pregnancy ends with amystrey... i got two faint line tests then i decided for a blood test (apoistive or negative one) where th eresults were positive.. i decided then to double check by HCG test and it came back with 31 ( > 5 is a pregnancy indication) a week later my doctor asked me to retest to make sure HCG is elevating and guess what it was a 2.2 that ended the one week dream. i was imposed them to re-tell everybody i was misfortune to tell in the beggining the happy news.. that was really embarrising.. i felt like a failure ! anyways.. for the motility as u suggested my DR suggested to retest for my DH seminal fluid if i didnt fall pregnant this month .. that means a beginning of a begging journey(my DH is shy to give sample in the laboratory) and we live like 40minutes away from the nearest lab.
anyways... hope to hear from u soen .. ur counting down now, are u still doing the ivi on friday?

Well, a faint positive is a very good sign. I think your plan about retesting in a few days is a good idea though. Please keep us posted. I hope you are indeed pregnant & I hope this time it's a healthy, successful pregnancy. I know it's hard to think otherwise, but the m/c last time was NOT a failure on your part. It was just a sad situation, some babies are too fragile to survive, it's not your fault. Yes, I'm doing the IUI on Friday. I had one nice size follicle show up on today's u/s, so I'm happy about that. Good luck. I hope things work out for you.

i will try to be positive all the way .. hope that i will not be disappointed anothe rtime isn't it toolat eto do ur IVI on friday ?/ how big is ur follicle ?? usually a 20mm follicle needs 2 days to be released ?

Well, the IUI timeframe that I'm on is the one my RE recommends, so I gather based on the size of my follie (17+ mm) today he thinks it will be plenty big enough by the time I trigger tomorrow night. I have confidence in my dr, that he knows best.
