Hi My name is jessica, my situation begins with an irregular cycle, it varies from 22 to 34 days, and sometimes it can be more or less days than those, those are just my most recent numbers im finding, so when i didnt become pregnant in over a year, after trying with my boyfriend i started to worry there was something wrong i have tried ovulation predictor kits but it shows i do not ovulate, the most i got was an extremely faint pink second line and i havent ever conceived, so i am thinking i may not ovulate at all, so i found out that clomid was a good remedy for that problem and as of today i have started the clomid adventure..... and by that i mean like litterally just started it,
I'm ordering it online (yes, i know its dangerous, yes i know i should wait for a doctor, yes I'll be getting blood tests and other tests to ensure i am not damaging myself, i just dont have thousands or spend on tests i dont particularly think i need)

I am thinking of ordering it this coming week, and I am becoming a human sponge currently, to know all i can about clomid.
So I'm just gonna ask a few common questions and tell you about me quick.

How often are women on clomid experiencing hot flashes or any of the other bad side effects and are there any herbal or otherwise remedies anybody has thought of for these?
Is hot flashes affecting your BBT temping, i do mine orally i have heard this is a less efficient way?

Looking to hear anything anyone wants to tell.

Some common questions i am asked, are why am i not married and doing this, and my honest answer is i do not believe a piece of paper truly would make any difference with the love i have with my boyfriend, we will get married. :) but I'd like to have my own little one as a ring bearer or flower girl :)

So I'm looking to make friends with similar stories i would love to hear stories and so fourth, just looking for someone to talk to about what to expect, any success stories and so on :)

Hope to hear back from everyone

I am on first cycle of clomid as well! Also ordered mine from the internet lol I took mine days 2-6 100mg..my cycles are 25-28 days every month and the 14th of this month is when my period is due. For the last few days I've been having bad pms cramps but no period. Been waking up in the middle of the night to pee and that never happened before. Also my breast are extremely sore! I know I ovulated around the 29th or 30th of July because I bloated worse than normal and had some discomfort due to the clomid. So anytime now I should be getting a positive or my period. I really feel like I'm pregnant but I have read a lot of articles that say clomid can mimic pregnancy symptoms. So we shall see. I tested today and got a negative :( gonna test again Thursday ..it's so hard not to test everyday I swear those things are addictive!! Lol

Hello. Yes, Clomid can be helpful. It can help you ovulate. However, I would still urge you to visit a doctor first. That way you can at least be prescribed the right dosage. I know you said you don’t want to waste money. However, think of it this way. What if Clomid isn’t the right option for you? What if it does more harm than good? In that case, you will have to go to a doctor then. You will have to spend that money. Probably much more than a consultation now would cost. Not to mention what it would be costing you in terms of health. It could also ruin your chances of conceiving. Just be careful.

Hello. I had a similar story. I wanted to conceive, but couldn’t. My problem was also that I wasn’t ovulating. I went to three different doctors. All three prescribed Clomid. I guess I was just being overly cautious. Well, that’s beside the point. The point is, that Clomid is a widely accepted cure for lack of ovulation. I think you can use it with confidence. Just take care though. Be on the lookout for side effects. Also, make sure that the particular bath of Clomid you receive is authentic. The internet isn’t exactly famous for its high moral and ethical business practicals. Good luck!

Hey Jessica. Clomid really is a great option for those who aren’t ovulating. Everyone I hear who has this problem has been prescribed Clomid. Therefore I think it should be fairly safe. However, I think that the exact dosage can vary from each person. This is why it is important to consult a doctor first. If you are unwilling to do that, at least purchase the Clomid from a pharmacy. A reputable one. Instead of the internet. Call me old-fashioned, but I don’t really trust that. There are just too many rip-offs and scammer there. I think your health is the ultimate treasure. It is important to take it seriously. Good luck! I hope you manage to conceive.

Hello. Welcome to this forum. I hope it proves to be informative for you. Now, it is normal to feel the way you are feeling. The period-like feeling will go away in a few days. That is if you are pregnant. Your doctor seems to be quite confident. Trust in him. Good luck!

Hello there. Jessica, I think you are being rash. Medications should be taken responsibly. Especially fertility meds. These can cause so many complications later on down the road. Where are you located? Do you have a health insurance? If yes, then I think a consultation with the doctor should be covered in that. Alternately, you could go to one of the pregnancy care centers. These usually operate on a budget. They target patients who can’t pay high fees. Either way, don’t just start taking meds like that. Be responsible for it. Let me know if you want more information. Good luck!

Hello. Welcome to the forum, Ingrid. The pain you are feeling is normal. It could just be ovulation. Clomid can do that. Apart from that, wait for a few days. Your doctor should have the results soon enough. Then you can know whether the IUI was successful or not. Fingers crossed!

Hey, Jessica? have you consulted a doctor regarding your problem? In my opinion, it's not safe to take a medicine without consulting a doctor. As it can be harmful to you're healthy to take a medicine without asking your doctor. Over the counter medicine can have serious side effects. So Hang in there. Visit a good doctor, get your tests done. As doctors said one should be under a care of a doctor if you are using Clomid. You need a pelvic examination before starting each cycle. You can't use it more than six cycles.

Hi Jessica. I am glad that you shared your story with us. I can understand what you are going through. We should be very careful in buying medicines. It is not necessary that every medicine will serve the same purpose for everyone. It might cause some side effect if not taken properly. I would never advise you to start the medicine without doctor’s prescription. It is possible that you are not suffering from the disease for which you are taking the medicine. It can damage your health. I have never been through pregnancy. I was unable to carry my baby because of some fatal disease. However, I have no idea about this medicine. All I can suggest you is to never take a medicine without consulting doctor. It is just for your safety. I hope you will understand.

Hi Jaiden. It is not necessary that uterus lining is thickened because you ovulated. There are other reasons for it too. I have never been pregnant. I have my baby through surrogacy. I have no idea about what you are asking. I have just heard there are multiple reasons for the thickening of the uterus lining. I think you should consult the doctor.

Hello girl. It is truly valuing that you are sharing your story. It will help other people to approach their issues. It is truly courageous of you to concoct such an issue. I truly value your doing. Such ovulation issues are looked by the ladies of childbearing age. One of my friends was taking the medicine you are talking about. However, her doctor recommended her to take it. Such pharmaceuticals can cause side effects if not taken properly. I think you are not supposed to stress yourself. Just consult the doctor and tell him about your condition. He will guide you in a better way. I don’t want you to suffer from any of the reactions later on. I hope you will not take me wrong. I am just saying it to you. Good luck.

kovenippof - November 10

Hi Ingrid. You are welcome in this forum. I believe it is the normal case. Estrogen is being produced in your body. It causes the feeling that you will get your periods. It will go away in few days. The doctors tell you the best. Therefore, you should be hopeful with what your doctor has told you.

Hey Jessica How are you? I hope I could help you in the best way you need. I can understand your situation. Anyone would be worried about suffering from the situation. Everyone loves child and want them to become a beautiful part of life. You can have your own genetic baby by another woman's womb. This process is known as surrogacy. I hope you didn’t know about this that’s why you are thinking of Clomid. Or you can have IVF? You must go for surrogacy or IVF. One of my neighbors is a mother of twins after surrogacy process. IVF is very effective too. I will pray for you.Take care of yourself.

bozapappadd - November 10

Hey, how are you? I hope you find my words helpful. My neighbor took the procedure of IUI. One neighbor got surrogacy treatment in an efficient way. You can have them from a clinic in Ukraine. They have amazing and pocket-friendly packages. All your problems will be solved If GOD wills
