I started spotting today and I am supposed to do hpt tomorrow. I am not sure if it a/f or implantation spotting. I took a hpt this morning anyways and it was negative. Someone help I am a wreck.

Hi Greeney, Implantation bleeding is suppose to be rare and happens about 5-7 days before your expected period. If you are suppose to do HPT tomorow, it sounds like AF is due tomorow. There is a very good chance it is pre-menstrual spotting and AF is soon here. I wish you lots of luck and baby dust! On the bright side, if AF does arrive, then you know you are on a fresh cycle and can try again. I am also waiting for AF. I am on CD 28, and on my last cycle of Clomid. TTC can be very frustrating.

Hi greeneyedgemini616, How many DPO are you? If you're only 8 to 10 DPO it could very well be implantation spotting. If you're more like 12 to 13 DPO more likely it's AF. However all isn't lost even if you're that far along, some people do spot around the time their AF is due but are pg after all. Unfortunately, it's a waiting game right now. If AF still holds out for a few more days past when you expect it, maybe you're better off getting a Beta. Do you usually spot pre AF? If spotting is unusual for you, it could be a good sign too. I hope you get the result you want. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hang in there!

Tell me about it Cloe. AF is do today and it seems like it is here right on time. I just cried all morning and I don't think I am going to work today. I just don't know how to feel. Every little cramp I feel just makes me mad. Then I have to think about the cost because I am doing IUI's and using a donor. If this next cycle doesn't take then that's another $1000 on 2 more vials. And the procedure for me this last time was really painful. They said it supposed to feel like a pap but mine felt like a bunch of knives and I cramped for 5 days after. Baby Dust to you!!!!!! Do you think you are pg???

Mega, Well I don't usually spot but AF is do today. And I am 13DPO so i think this will be another round of IUI's and meds and waiting.

Greeney, I could be pg, but I doubt it. Only cause the last 5 cycles of Clomid were unsuccessful. I find this time of the months very difficult because it is very upsetting each time waiting to see if AF arrives or not. You are definatly not alone in being upset on CD1. I usually feel just as bad. I am not doing IUI yet, so it isn't as expensive for me but still upsetting.

Well Cloe fingers crossed maybe you are. I knew before I started this it was gonna be an emotional roller coaster. And boy is it. I just want to get in bed and sleep through. And the girls I work with just keep telling if it happens it happens if it doesn't then it was meant to be that way. i don't feel that way though. I get irritated with them because they don't even want kids and to me I want this more than anything else. It's hard not to get your hopes up because you think maybe this one's the one and then dear old AF shows up again and the hpt sayd negative again. I wonder it I will ever get to see the positive hpt.

I am sure you will. Most people with fertility issues eventually do conceive. It is a long difficult journey but the odds are on your side. I really don't think that women without fertility issues ever truly understand our pain. That's why I find this forum so helpful. Everyone here understands, and it helps me get through my cycles. You know, there is a woman named Cherie, who is a pyscic and does free predictions for women in our predicament, or charges $6.00 for a more complete prediction and quicker response. She uses PayPal. I e-mailed her and her response gave me lots of hope. It took almost 3 weeks cause I did the freebie, but it was worth it. She said I will either conceive, give birth, or find out in October, and I will have a boy. Apparently she is right alot more than wrong. All you have to do is e-mail her and give her your name and birthdate. It is just for fun, but you know it did lift my spirits. At least she sees a child in my future. Would you like her e-mail address?

sure I would like to see what she has to say.

[email protected] That is her e-mail address. When I get home tonight I will post her website, in case you would rather use paypal to pay her.

greeneyedgemini616, when I found out I was pg w/dd, about 5 days later, I had spotting. I went to my OBGYN and they gave me progesterone inserts and then the spotting went away. So, there is hope!

Hello Ladies I have been spotting for 2 days I have really bad cramps I was expecting af to show but has yet. I have PCOS so I don't get regular periods.

greeneyedgemini616 - May 4

Well I am still spotting I talked to my RE doc and she said to call her when I am full flow so we calculate when to do my next U/S to do a folicle count. But I Have been spotting for 2 days now and I never spot. I took another hpt but still negative if it is a/f I want it to start already so I can move on to the next cycle.

greeneyedgemini616 - May 4

Becky how did they diagnose you with PCOS????

Becky - May 4

I had blood work done and u/s had lots of little cyst and both my sisters have it. I haven't had a period sence Jan. I have to take provera to start a period. I have 1 child that I was really lucky to have. My dd broke her leg and she has been in a cast for 8 weeks so I didn't take the meds to get my period yet and it shocked me to start spotting so I don't know if af will come or not.
