Mega- You are making me post illegally at work. That is so awesome. Your numbers sound very promising. I am getting teary at work. Darn hormones. LOL. I wish I could see you so you could tell how excited I am for you. It is hard to express over the internet! I can't believe you are pg. Is your dh sooo excited. How did you tell him this time? Holy cow I just can't believe it. TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! I am sooo happy for you! I had to take progesterone vaginally during the first 10wks of my pg too. They are waxy bullet like things right? If so have fun, they are messy and gave me a yeast infection, which of course you can't use anything vaginally for yeast infections till the 2nd trimester so you are stuck with a red itchy vajajay. But let me tell you it is worth it in the end! Again Congrats!

Baby--You rebel! Thanks for posting illegally to check in on me though. Much appreciated! I actually called DH on his cell as soon as I saw the BFP on the HPT. I was almost crying & so shaky I was so surprised. He couldn't believe it either. Seriously we didn't think at least for baby #1 we'd be able to conceive naturally. Didn't occur to us really. The Progesterone I'm on (Prometrium) can be taken orally or vaginally. To induce AF last week I took them orally, now I just shove them in my cochee instead. They're yellow odd shaped pills really. Go up smoothly really. Oh but a red, itchy vayjay for 3 months huh?! Fun times. I didn't know though that you couldn't take OTC yeast infection meds for the 1st tri though. Good to know! Thanks. It's good to talk to a nurse in the know. Does eating yogurt help with yeast infections though? I think I've heard that before. I may try that. I'm trying to take this 1 step at a time but with this high beta yeah we're pretty hopeful that this will result in a beautiful take-home baby! It does sound promising so far. Oh I hope my #'s are doubled or well within the "acceptable" beta range tomorrow! Thank you!!!

Mega, OMG!!?!!? I just got on here, haven't been able to get on over the past few days......CONGRATULATIONS!!! Wow, that was a pleasant surprise :) Your numbers sound great, I am so excited for you!!!
How is everyone else doing? Baby, sounds like Colton is preparing you well, lol. Jsmith, mommy, Tenk.....Hope all is well. I am about to call the OB, I think I might have another cyst or more endo, am having some pains on my lower right side. :( I just pray I don't have to have surgery again. Everyone have a great day.

Tenk - January 22

OMG, I go away for the weekend and you go and get a BFP.......HOLY SH!T that's so great!!! Do you remember me saying that since your DH hadn't had it in so long that you might just get pregnant on your own??? Well, I was right haha!!! ;-) That is so great and that's an awesome number too! I think they still double like 48 hours or so but I may be wrong. I can't wait to hear your numbers today.......what if, your body was so used to releasing multiple eggs that you got 2 this time???? Would you still have more later??? WAHOOOO!! Hi to all you gals in OH, we are stuck with sick kids AGAIN....2 have Strep/Scarlet Fever, and Hailey (she has not tonsillis, adnoids, and has tubes) can't get that stuff I think so she has Pnumonia AGAIN. Very sick this time around, really high fever, and swelling and hard to breath. My poor baby, I worried myself sick last night while she was sleeping. I just want her to feel better soon. Ok, I'll check in later....bye and CONGRATS again Meridith!!!

Mega, numbers sound great. Can't wait to hear today's numbers. Let us know. I was wondering since you got preggo naturally, how does this Shared Risk thing go now. I know that's a stupid question but I hate to see you pay this money and here you go and get preggo the old fashioned way. LOL!! JSmith, I hope even though you decided you might stop TTC that you still check in. We love hearing about you and your family. BabyRN, I did the same thing as you before I had DD so I really think it is your body prepping for DS. Nikki, I sure hope you don't have endo. Maybe it's just a cyst. Let us know what your doctor says. Tenk, where are you??? Well as for me. I had a few days of spotting and you can't even call it that. Never had to wear a tampon or a pad and it was hardly there when I wiped. TMI, just a few gooey brown tinged mucusy blobs. I guess I can call the RE office today. I never started so maybe I can get them to do an ultrasound to see what is going on in there. They probably won't do it but I'd love to know why my body is being a bitch. LOL!! Mega, by your numbers you sound about 6-7 weeks, either that or there might be 2. LOL!! I am cautiously optomistic myself but you sound like this is a keeper by those number. Let us know. Talk to you ladies later. I'll let you know what the RE office says.

Mega - January 22

Hi ladies! Yeah Mommy, I was thinking probably around 6 weeks, not for certain though. No, that's a good question re: our $. Actually with Shared Risk, if you get pg on a natural cycle you get 70% of your money refunded so that'll be a nice chunk of change. DH's already mentally started spending it. We'll have to first make sure this is a viable pg, yielding in a take home baby, etc. but then after that we should have a nice windfall. Just in time to spend it on diapers, & baby furniture...LOL! That's weird that AF was pretty much a no show for you afterall. Hopefully you get in for that u/s today. Have you taken a HPT recently? I know it was a BFN last time you did one before the Provera but I also took a HPT before I started Prometrium & it was also BFN for me. So you never can tell. Nikki--Thanks! :) Oh I'm sorry you're having pains now. I'll pray your endo stays away & it's just a minor endo-less cyst. You don't think this could just be O pain do you? Where are you in this cycle? I hope the OB gets you in soon. Good luck! Tenk--Thanks! Yes lady you were right after all about DH's well-rested swimmers. Who'd a thunk it! I mean not about you being right, just who'd thunk I'd get pg on my own! I was telling DH most likely it'll be a singleton since this was a natural cycle but he said the same thing you just did, with all the meds in my system my body might be used to Oing more than 1 eggie. We'll see. :) I don't know, I guess if we had boy girl twins we might still use the remaining 4 embies we have on ice but not panic if those don't take. Good question! Yeah, I hope your right about them still doubling every 48 hours or so past 1,200. I'm almost more nervous for this beta than I was for Saturday's. I'll definitely keep ya posted. Oh your poor babies, 3 sick little ones at the same time. Yikes, scarlett fever, poor kiddos, I hear that hurts a lot. And poor little Hailey, Pnumonia again! Not good! Is she on antibiotics yet? Hope your babies get well soon. And hopefully you won't catch anything this time either!!! Pop vitamin C & zinc! Hopefully that'll be some preventive maintenance for you.

mommywannabe - January 22

Well I left a message for RE to call my cell phone so I could be away from my desk when she calls so that "eavesdroppers" can't listen in. LOL!! When the nurse calls back I'll see what they say. I doubt they'll let me have an ultrasound unless I have pain which I don't. I am just wanting it because the cycle before this one was 68 days and this one is going on 56 days. Something is up. Maybe all the Clomid messed with my system more than I thought. UGH!!

Mega - January 22

Mommy--Maybe fudge a little on the pain thing? Something is going on. Maybe it's a cyst? They don't always hurt. I mean if that'll more likely get you that u/s go for it. Test your acting chops. Just don't make it too painful or it could back fire on ya. Darn busybodies at work! :) Hope you get your call back soon.

Tenk - January 22

Ok, MEGA, do you have a beta number for us yet????

mommywannabe - January 22

Hi ladies, Well the nurse from the RE's office called me back. She wants me to go in today or tomorrow for a beta HCG to make sure if there is or isn't a pregnancy there and then we'll proceed from there. She also is making an appointment for me to see my RE once the results are in which should be BFN. She said there is obviously something going on and we can find out what it is. I told her I am just scared because AF's are getting longer apart in length and usually when I have them they are weird. So if by some odd and unpresumable miracle it is a BFP I'll crap my pants but I am for now stating it is a BFN. Can't you tell I just want an ultrasound already. LOL!! I won't know till tomorrow when my RE appt. is. So I guess if it happened by chance for Mega, their might still be one miracle left out there. LOL!! As soon as I know you'll know but assume it's a BFN. TTYL!!

Mega - January 22

Tenk--Sorry, no news yet! Grrr! I'm gettin' antsy here. Mommy--I gotta add, if it can happen to me, Miss I only get pg with IVF it can certainly happen to you! I'm a verb on my IVF board. Someone called getting a natural pg, getting a "Mega." So here's wishing you get your mega tomorrow. IE surprise BFP! :) Who me, egotistical?! Perish the though. LOL. Anyway seriously, a BFP tomorrow could happen & if not well at least you'll be seeing your RE & hopefully getting to the bottom of your increasing long cycles. That's actually what happened to me leading to the official PCOS diagnosis. My 1st cycle post BCPs were about 33 days or so, not bad. Then like 36, then 40, then like 52, then finally like 72 days that's when I decided there was definitely something wrong. But fingers' crossed you get your miracle too. Keep us posted! And I'll be posting again soon (I hope!) with my beta results. Fingers' crossed it's nice & high!!!

mommywannabe - January 22

By the way Mega, I didn't mean the only way you'd get preggo is IVF but what I meant by what I said was if it happened for you on your "not medicated" cycle then it could happen for me as well. I reread and thought maybe I sounded like I was harsh in saying like it wasn't gonna happen for you any other way or something. Sorry about that.

mommywannabe - January 22

The suspense is killing me Mega. Don't your doctors know you have us waiting to hear your results. LOL!! Fingers are crossed they are doubled and nice and high. GOOOOO MEGA!!

BabyRN - January 22

Just checking in on Mega. Thought maybe they may have called with your results. I should have known better. They seem to call late. Have you told any family or anything yet mega? Tenk sorry that your kids are all sick. Sounds like you have quite a sick crew there! Yuck. Mommy You never know you too may have a bfp. Keeping my fingers crossed. You are getting your beta in the am so we expect answers by the afternoon. LOL! Nikki sorry you are having pain. Hopefully not endo. Well I will be checking in again soon.

Mega - January 22

Oh Mommy no, I didn't take it that way at all. You didn't sound harsh in the least. I'm the one that added that about IVF, I'm the one that was suspecting I could only get pg with help. I hope you're next to get pg on a unmedicated cycle too! Thanks! Yeah, you'd think the staff would realize it's not just moi waiting for the results! Geez! What, do they think they have other patients too?! Oh er, I guess maybe they do. Oh well!

mommywannabe - January 22

Baby, yes I am getting it in the AM. I am now second guessing going to get it because I went to the bathroom and the mucus that was slightly brown tinged before is a bit more but only just this last time I went to the restroom. So we'll see what the rest of the day tomorrow early AM bring. If it's non exsistent like it's been for almost a week now, I'll go. If it's there then I'll still make the appointment to go to see my RE. My nurse made a comment that as soon as I spoke to her that I'd probably start since that's happened before. LOL!!! So maybe I just needed to scare AF into coming. LOL!! I would seriously doubt that I got a BFP doing my beta tomorrow anyways but I guess anything can happen.
