Hi Melody, I too have a tr in Aug. What were you told after the op? Have you had any tests since the op? Are you ovulating?

Hi Ladies, lets keep this thread going until we find someone who have managed to get pregnant after a tr. I have threads where it is possible to conceive, but I am not sure how they got there. I am on my last course of clomid this cycle coming and Linds has advised that next time I see my consultant I should ask for injectionables and IUI. That's what I'll be trying next. Good luck to you both.

Hi Tony, what did the docs advise you, I can' remember if we have spoken about this before How long have you been on clomid? Baby Dust to you both

tonyaandjoe - November 16

my name is tonya and my dh is joe. so everyone will know. i was on clomid in sept. and didn't get prego. so in oct. i didn't take any thing and he wanted to see if i would o on my own and i did not. so in nov. when AF shows this week i will be on 100mg of clomiphene citrate. and he said if that didn't work then he would do another treatment that would cost 200. but he didn't say what that was though. i am hopeing and praying that this would work for us.he said that i went from 1 in 43 to 1 in 10 of having twins.

Hi Tonya, I was told rather bluntly that it is unlikely I will ovulate by myself by a lady over the phone, from the infertility department of the local hospital, but I have not tested that theory myself as yet. I asked for a complete hormone test to be done on CD3 of my next cycle, to see if my ovaries are in good working order. As Linds advised I will try injectionables & IUI next, I wonder if that is what your doc will eventually try for you? Keep us updated with your progress. I have been feeling sore really bloated this month, my bb's are sore and I am feeling nauseas, but that could all be side efftects of the clomid. I am on my 2ww at the moment, AF is due 25/26th November, so fingers crossed she does not show her ugly face. Good luck & baby dust to you both. Bev

hopefully this will be the BFP you were waiting for.

Boo b do - November 16

BFP wishes to ALL of us. It would be great if one of us were to get one so we can show that it is possible for us to get pg after a tubal reversal. Lets keep this thread going....

Hi Melody & Tonya, how's it going this month. Tonya, has AF shown? Have you started your clomid this month , how's it going? Good luck for this month and the next. Bev

tonyaandjoe - November 17

no i am due for AF any time hopefully she'll show soon . so i can go ahead and start clomid. how are you guys doing?

Boo b do - November 17

Hi Tonya, I'm good thanks, how are you? Do you think your AF is on its way? What tests did your dr do to see if you ovulated in November? Good luck with the clomid, I hope it gives you your BFP.

tonyaandjoe - November 19

i am spotting today so usually when i do that she will show by tonight. my dr. done u/s and he tells me if i will get prego without the clomid but after he done the u/s he said that i wouldn't so that's why i am doing the 100 mg.

I had 2 babies and one m/c after tr surgery and with only one very short 4 cm tube. I am trying to get pregnant again but used clomid this time 50 mg days 3-7 . I am now 6dpo

My doc was the one advertising at the top of the page, babies-by-levin.com Dr. Richard levin. He did my reversal surgery in 2000 I immediately got pregnant but lost the tube to an undiagnosed ectopic. Then 14mo. later I got pregnant with my daughter then when she was 7 mo old I got pregnant with my ds. When he was a little over 2 I got pregnant again but lost it in Sept. Since I want to be pregnant now and know it could take me a long time b/c of only having one tube and it's length, I opted to take clomid to increase my odds of catching an egg.

Hi Rom, I am so sorry you had a m/c and ectopic, it is heartbreaking when these things happen. This should probably be on another thread, but prior to my surgery, I had had one pg, whereby one of the doctors told me I was not pregnant even though I had told her I had taken a test and it was +ive. I was quite young at the time, so I think she thought I was exagerating my condtion or something. I'd started to spot which is why I went along to see her, I told her and she did an internal and told my I was NOT pg. I stupidly beleived what she said even after taking the home test. I felt stupid for bothering her and left. I continued on to an interview at the local college, where I proceeded to m/c in reception. I was so embarrassed. The lady on reception helped me and called an ambulance, I had an emergency d&c as I was bleeding so much. After getting home I rang the doctor and told her and all I got was 'oh'? I realised later I should have made her take a test at the surgery, but she was the one who is supposed to know everything!! Some years later I had an ectopic, my doc told me I had a infection from the coil, he did a pg test, it was -ive, then gave me antibiotics. He went on holiday for two weeks and told me to see him when he got back (in hine sight he should have sent me for a scan) and if no better he would remove the coil. I saw another doctor within the two weeks period and begged her to take out my coil as I was in such pain and again I believed what the doctors told me . She said she couldn't remove it because she was not my doctor, she then gave me some really strong pain killers and took a pg test and told me to see my doc when I got back for removal of the coil and the results of the pg test. I saw my regular doc when he got back two days later , I told him I was still in pain and had seen a doctor two days earlier and she had taken a pg test and I asked for the results. He responded by saying 'oh I can't find it '. On removal of the coil he said ' things should setlte down now' carry on taking the antibiotics. That was on a Monday, on Wednesday evening, I found a hand written note on my doormat, saying please attend the doctors surgery first thing in the morning, I was still in agony, taking the pain killers Wednesday evening, when Thursday morning came I got out of bed and felt a bursting feeling in my abdomen. My dh had been on nights so I did not want to wake him. I drove myself to the surgery and the doctor could not even look me in the face. He told me the pg test had come back positive and I must get myself to the hospital immediately. I told him about the bursting feeling and he went white as a sheet. I was crying at this point as I felt some relief that there was an answer to all the pain I had been suffering. He asked me if I had anyone to take me to the hospital and I explained I had driven myself to the surgery. He then said I must get myself to the hospital, which is what I did. I rang my dh from there. The ectopic pregnancy had burst around my left ovary, which I have been told no longer works. I've since learned from the surgeon who did my tr that there are still eggs there. Well to end the story there. It is a lesson learned, now I do not beleive everything I am told by the medical profession, I had to practically demand a FSH test to be done, since being on clomid. I have found this forum to be so informative and full of hope, this is better therapy than anything I have experienced whilst trying to conceive, AND I will always have a long list of questions when I see the docs from now on. Thank you so much for giving us some hope through your words, and showing us it is possible to conceive. Even after tragedy. Good luck with the clomid. Tonya, so sorry your AF showed her ugly face, but good luck with your clomid, I ovulated on 100mg in October, should get my results for my November cd21 blood test this week. I hope it works for you and you get your BFP, I've read a lot of threads where the individual has fallen pg on clomid. I am going to start using a fertility monitor in December if I get my AF this month. Might as well try it, any sign is a bonus when you are not really sure 'when' you ovulate. Bady dust to all of you.
