i have a Q for anyone who wants to answer:P... afteer 4 mo with no pd i finally ovulated.. my Progesterone was 10.7??? will that number tell me when i ovulated??? is that a good number:P thanks

another Q:P i took clomid from March 14th to march 19th.. and on the 17th and 18th i felt the pain on both sides of my pelvic area... i asked and i was told that was way to soon for ovulation, is it possible that i ovulated then:P sorry if im asking to many Q's im just so excited i did after all this time.

hi vista, if you ovulated from the clomid it would have been way too early because you hadn't even finished the pills yet right? but not to say you couldn't have ovulated on your own. but most likely it was twinges from the pills. i think 10.7 is a good number, what did your Dr say?
when you are pregnant they like it to be at least 15 in the beginning i know. i am not sure about just after ovulation and what exactly it tells you though. good luck!!

Hi ladies. I'm hoping to join you all. I'm 31 and ttc our 4th child. We've been trying since July 06, We had our first round of clomid last month March 23-27. I'm really hoping this works. I took 50mg at night so I had no known side effects thank goodness. Congrats to the 2 BFP's I hope to join you. So is anyone close to my cycle? I'm due for AF on April 16... In hopes she STAYS AWAY! :-)

Thanks Mindy1 :-) Cool I have a buddy! Well I usually get the O pains but nothing yet. But I'm pretty sure I did. Lots of CM right now. I know for sure I did O last month I had a really good progesterone score. 26 or something like that. Well I look forward to chatting with you again! Alison

Hi, thought I would join in and ask a question, or maybe some advice. I was thinking of doing Clomid myself. My doc said she could start me on 25 mg, cycle days 3-7. Heres a little of my history. I have two children, ttc #3 for 2 1/2 years. Had all bloodwork done, dx with hypothyroidism, but under control. My progesterone at 21 day was 10. Doc thought that was low? Had tubes checked, they were okay. DH had white blood cells in semen, put on antibiotics for 3 months, finally cleared up, was clear for 2 months, we tried, still not preggers. RE wanted to do an IUI, but insurance doesnt cover this and it could take several tries to be successful, and that would be all out of pocket cash. Im at a loss. Should I try the Clomid?? Could it still be me? or my DH? What I cant figure out, if he were clear those two months, why didnt I get preggers? Maybe my progesterone is too low to actually implant? Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated. Im still not sure if the Clomid will help.

Hey JAS-- sorry I didnt see the post you made earlier. the thing about Clomid, for me personally, is the hot flashes and moodieness. I takje 100mgs on days 3-7 and it worked for me! I didnt get pg, this is my 4th cycle, hoping foir a BFP, but I heard clomid can sometimes take up to 6 cycles!!!!! Good luck! Marymo- it sounds like clomid will help jumpstart your system... its definitely worth a try!!!

Hi Ladies - Welcome to all the newbies. I got my BFP on the second cycle of clomid. I took50MG CD5-9 and I didn't really have any side effects. What I believe worked for me this time is a whole lot of PRAYER, Preseed and Bding every other day. We started every other day on CD15. I received my surge on the clear blue easy digital test on cd17 (both times) so we just stuck with it and prayed about it. As I said early, just when I decided I will not worry about it and turn it over to God, I mean I almost gave up, I got my BFP. The only reason why I tested on Monday was because I was about to get a refill of clomid and provera. I didn't have to use provera this last cycle because AF came on its on...but I am so irregular...who knew I was PG. JAS , Mary, Vista, Motherto3 - I am praying for your peace of mind. As I do for everyone on this thread. It is truly a difficult journey ttc, but when you are blessed to get on the other side, you will look at that journey with so much joy and victory.

Hi ladies!.. wow i missed alot lol.. welcome marymo.. motherto3boys.. and jas.. let me introduce myself... me and DH have been TTC for almost 3 years.. i have PCOS taking clomid days 5-9 and metformin 2000mg everyday.. my first cycle of clomid was 50mg with no success.. so they uped me to 100mg's and i Oed!!!.. but didnt get a BFP my first month.. right now im on cd 10.. just waiting to O!!!.. im really hoping this is my month!.. ***Jas.. the side effects i have most also are hot flashes and moddiness.. the hot flashes for me are pretty bad.. i just took my last pills lastnight and have already been having hot flashes for 2 days or so.. they usually say that the success rate of clomid is 80% and it usually happens by your 4th round.. i hope clomid is your miricle drug.. as im hoping its mine too!.. well.. im just waiting waiting to O.. hows everyone else doing??.. mindy how are u?

hello! Jas, i just had the hot flashes and night sweats and i got a bfp my 3rd cycle on clomid at 50mg days 3-7. marymo, do you ovulate on your own already? or are you irregular? that is what clomid is really good for, and lower progesterone too. well you know you can get pregnant so that is a good thing right there. i went the prayer route like mother2be and i know that is why i got pregnant and why i am still pregnant. plus, i helped myself by taking clomid and figuring out exactly when i ovulated. but it won't happen until it is supposed to and your body is ready.
that is what i think anyways.
i got my doppler and we found the heart beat right away! it was so awesome! it was at 154bpm yesterday.... i love hearing it :)

Hello everyone, and how are we??? I swear everyones due in December lol!! I really am hoping this is my last clomid cycle. I dont even know what CD Im on or when I Oed, but I have a dr appt next Monday and Im makin her take my blood... I wanna know where my progesterone is at!~

mother2be, i rented it. it is $22 a month. you should wait until about 12 weeks to get one though because they don't work too good before that. but right now it works great!
mindy, definitely tell her to take your blood! good luck!!!
