Almost Done with Lupron... Help!

I had a laparascopy and a hysteroscopy 5 months ago and am nearing the end of a 6 month round of Lupron (only 1 more shot to go!). My husband and I have been TTC for about 2 years. We want to get pregnant asap... My Dr. sounded certain that it would only be a month or two after the last shot. However I have been reading and talked to several women who have been off of Lupron for 8 months and still nothing. I am starting to get really anxious and nervous.

hi--i have been taking danzanol for endo. and all of this treatment just sucks !!! do you mind me asking what are /were some of your side effects ? i was so hopeful about all this medical treatment but now i am just worried ! i feel like because i don't get AF anymore i feel like my body went into menopause !!!!!!!!!!! -this TTC battle is so tough !

I agree... This treatment does SUCK!! I have hot flashes, night sweats, migraines, i can't seem to get motivated to do much of anything and for some ridiculous reason my normally impeccable memory has now diminished to barely remembering what day it is. So yes I am also IN menopause. However, all of this has to be for some reason. Hang in there! Good luck and God bless! Baby Dust :)

I know how you feel. I was on a 6 month round of lupron too and progestin for cysts and endo and it was horrible. I had hot flashes, horrible mood swings to the point I felt like I was going crazy! I am happy for you that it is almost over. It took me a couple months to feel completely off of it. Unfortunately, I am still TTC it has been over 1.5 years now and still no baby but we are also dealing with DH having low motility so that is adding to the frustration. I wish for you that you have great luck as soon as you come off the lupron and you get preg right away. :)
