Hello, ladies! my dh has a low sperm count issue. Even though he has been taking several vitamins for several months, it has not gotten better. There are some medications for this in the market. which one really works? and which one does not? Please help us.

I am in the same boat Mrs. G. What is your husband taking? I was on the prowl today for the necessities in daily vitamins. My extensive research using the following websites led me conjure up this daily regimine: 1000mg Flaxseed Oil, 1500mg Vit-C (time release), B-100 Complex (tr), Vit-E w/Selenium, L-Carnitine, L-Arginine, and ZINC 400mg. All purchased at PuritanPride.com, they have a special right now of buy 1 get 1 and/or buy 2 get 3! I will be pumping him up with these. Hi!
In my case vitamins did the trick. Unfortunately there are very few medications that can improve things. If your dh had his hormones tested and if he as low FSH and testosterone there maybe help from Clomid, since it increses production of FSH wich in testes turn it into testosterone.

Hey Leilani14, is your hubby still taking all the vitamins now that you're pregnant? Did you decrease the dosages?

DH was on carefully choosen multivitamin plus L-Carnitine and Pycnogenol. He is still taking the vitamins, maybe not with such dedication. I have a theory that he need a lot of antioxidans and that sperm issues were just indicator that he is not gettin enough. Antioxidans are also important for heart and they are anti aging. So yes he is still on vitamins and he is planning to stay on.
