Okay so I am having a Lapo on Thursday and I am freaking out I dont know what to expect I have never had surgery I have never been put under before but I know it has to be done. According to the paper the RE gave me he is performing a Lapo, Hystoscopy, D&C and some tubal flush. Please if anyone has had any of these procedures I would love some advice about it and has anyone gotten pregnant after?????

I had a lapo and hysteroscopy in June. I was nervous as well. It was my first surgery and I had never been put under. All went well... I just felt a little weird after the surgery b/c it was difficult to hold my eyes open in recovery (totally normal). I am currently on Lupron with one shot left. Don't be nervous! All will be fine! Good luck and god bless!

I had a lapo a few years ago to see if I had endometriosis. I did and it was taken care of. The procedure went well and I was back to work 2 days later. The only pain I had was slight shoulder pain from the CO2 they fill your abdomen with. I was preg 2 months later!

Hi trying....I had one in April. I was just as nervous because it was my 1st surgery also. Like hoping I had a hard time getting up in recovery (that was the best rest I had in years). The incision site was sensitive for about a week but other than that, it was fine. I have PCOS and they removed a cyst which is why it was a little more sensitive. I just finished 100 mg of clomid on days cd4-cd8.....wishing u the best and some baby dust too!!!

I had my lap and dye done in the last week of august, you've nothing to freak out about it was fine, i did have a bit of pain in my shoulder too from the gas, but that soon went away. i was only on pain relief that day and i was fine the next day, the cuts are so small that they dont even notice now. I gues it worked for me - blew the cobwebs away, as i'm now 7 weeks 4 days pregnant, i concieved at the beginning of october. I think it's a great thing, 6 weeks after, i had been TTC for 22 months, relax about it :o))
