Took Clomid days 3-7, on day 11 today and still havent O'd yet. Today I feel a lot of pain in my ovaries, so I am thinking it is coming soon which would mean I fell into the 5-8 days after taking the last pill catagory. Dont really know what to expect as this is my first Clomid round. Good luck.

the typical 5-10 days post last pill didn't work for me, but I have PCO--I took 50 mg of Clomid on days 3-7 but didn't ovulate until day 31! Currently I'm 13 dpo so we'll see if I'm pregnant soon!!!!

Thanks everyone for your answers! Colleen, this is my first round too. Kerri, does the PCOS make your cycles longer in general?

My cycle usually fluctuate between 31-48 days with ovulation only happening in the longer cycles. We tried the Clomid to see if I'd O earlier--50 mg didn't help. The day after I O'd I started taking Metformin, which is a diabetic medication---it's needed to control my insulin resistance and lower my androgens (male hormones)..which are my symptoms of PCOS. I've only been taking the medicine for 13 days--length of luteal phase...but I really think that it's helping me. The goal is to have regular O each month around day 14--but the bigger goal is to sustain pregnancy...but ladies with PCOS can have a higher rate of miscarraige.
