Galina, I used the same Clearblue monitor. Each month I saw the egg on CD14 to CD16. My dh and I were pretty busy in those days but still no baby. Very frustrating. I think I need to dicuss with my RE if dh and I need more tests done. The appt is tmw I will keep u posted. Good luck on the IUI, when is your ov date? Is IUI painful as HSG?

Hi, I went in to see my dr today & he thinks IUI will be either Thurs or Fri. I respond almost "too well" to the meds & end up rpoducing toomany follicles & he is afraid of overstimulating my o varies. IUI did not hurt AT ALL. I did take 4 motrin before the procedure thought. They put in that clamp like the one they use for a Pap & then I felt absolutely nothing. It ook about 3 min, & then I had to lay down on the table for about 25 mins. I definately think the HSG was way more intrusive & uncomfortable. Let me know what your #s are. Good luck at the appt.

Hi, Galina, I just finished my appt with RE. First, all my hormone levels are normal. I might go for a prolactin test on CD21. Since my period are very regular, my RE doesn't think I need clomid i/o recommended IUI next cycle. On CD3 I need to go for injectible for couples days. well, you know the rest. To my suprise my insurance covers all IUI expenses. I just need to call for an authorization# on CD1. My questions to you, how many days you have to go for the injectible on each cycle?

Galina, actually i hv another question. What is getting injectible like? is it like getting a shot? how long it takes. the reason i ask is that i have to go each day 10am, i want to arrange my work time accordingly.

Hi, well I am glad to hear that the news is good. Did your dh have his sperm tested? I started my injections on cd3 & did them for approx. 6-7 days. My body responds very well to them, so my dr is afraid of over-stimulating (too many follicles) me. I am not sure what kind of injectibles u are going to be on. Mine were Follistim & my dhj injected me every night with this "pen-like" thing. It did NOT hurt at all. The needle is tiny and it takes me less that 1 min for everything. Since you have to go in and actually get them there, I am not sure what that is. Ask your dr what your medicine is called & why you can't give it to yourself. What is prolactin??? Are you also going to be going in for u/s, since you are on injectibles? Good luck, I am excited for you :)
