Hello All, I will be starting clomid for the first time today (CD 3-7 100mg). I have been trying for about a year on my own with no result because i have a hormone imbalance and not ovulating. So im hoping that the clomid works for me on the first time around. This will be my first baby and really looking forward to it. Just needed some support. Good luck to everyone--Babydust!

YAY for Bev, great news about your follies. Keeping everything crossed for you that the trigger shot will do the trick. Let us know as soon as you find anything out. Gee I have missed talking to you.---------------Tenk any idea on how many babies are in there yet?-------------Tonyaandjoe, all is well with you I hope.-----------Allison what is happening in your neck of the woods? Where are you in your cycle?-----------------Jes I hope the family are still on the mend.------------britneyhayden, welcome to our little group.Best of luck with your first round of clomid, I had twins with my first round. My dr's have never monitored me whilst I was on clomid. I never had u/s or bloods done, some doc's use the u/s to know whether or not the dosage is right for you, and whether or not to give you the hcg trigger shot. Maybe next time you speak to your doc just ask how he prefers to do it. They are all different. Best of luck with it. Oh by the way, most of us girls that have been on it usually take it at night, just before bed and this tends to reduce any side affects you may have. Also not sure if your doc mentioned taking Robittussin to you or not, it helps with cervical mucas as clomid can dry it up. If you need any help with dosages and stuff, I'm only to glad to help.--------------NellyD, all the above applies to you also, welcome to our little group. Anything we can help you on please feel free to ask. I hope these meds work for both you girls. Take care talk soon. Kylie

Hey everyone,
Hope all of you are doing fine.
I went for another u/s yesterday and those darn follicles are still there, one of them has grow to 2.3. and the other 1.8. Any way I am back there today to see if anything has changed. My temp went from 97 to 97.5 today, so I hope that is a good sign. Why do we have to have such a difficult time.
It has been so nice to be back on this site, I really missed you all.
Hope to hear from you all soon

Hey girls, sorry I have been MIA. My modem crashed so haven't had internet access.------------Jess so sorry to hear of your uncle's passing, thinking of you. And a big congrats on the O'ing, hopefully things will continue on the right path now.-------------Hey Bev, what happened with those follies? Did you end up getting the trigger shot?-------------Welcome to all the newcomers, here's to some BFP's.------------Hem, I found being on clomid cd5-9 made my cycles about a week longer than usual. When I changed to cd3-7 my cycles went back to normal length. The only real s/e I had from clomid was headaches. I usually took mine before I went to bed at night and that seemed to counteract any other s/e I may have had. This is my first cycle off of clomid since June and I haven't really felt much different. Went and saw my Gynea on Wed and I have to go have surgery in the new year. Apparently one of my tubes looks like a balloon sausage dog, all twisted and full of fluid. So they are going to check it out and if my other one looks good then they will remove it ( if I get preggers from that tube high chance of ectopic ). Don't really fancy surgery but if it helps to conceive I say bring it on. My cd 21 bloods were all good, my LH and FSH were both 3 and my Progesterone was 30 so everything is working well in that department. I'm 11dpo today and not having any signs of anything yet. Take care everyone and will chat again soon. Kylie

Hey Everyone, How are you all doing? Friday at last.. Kiza nice to hear from you, I missed talking to you. My update is that my follicles finally launched. on Wed. they were still there and quite large, ( i had my trigger shot on monday).
I was quite discouraged because the dr. said i should o in 12-36 hours, and wed it was more than 48. But on thurs morn my temp spiked and at the ultra sound on thurs they were both gone. Now I just pray that one of them floated over to the right side. I hate thinking positively because every month it's so heartbreaking. so I am 9dpo. Sorry to hear about your possible surgery. Is there anyway this will correct on its own?
I will be thinking about you, don't be a stranger we are very close in our cycles, maybe we will have a great Christmas present..
Talk to you soon

Tenk - December 8

Hi Ladies, sorry it's been so long. I had to go into the ER on the 29th, and I found out that I was miscarrying the baby(ies), still not sure how many were in there. But it did happen...we'll try again this month, I guess I started my period after the m/c bleeding stopped. So I'm on CD10 today, and I O'd last time on CD17-18. I hope that some of you have better news than I soon!
