I was put on birth control at age 16 because my periods were so bad and painfull !and I have been off now for a year . could it be that I am having a hard time getting pregant cause I was on the pill for so long or I am I just being to impaitent since its only been a year and just keep trying

Go to your dr. and start to get tested. One year is long enough to try w/o med. help. Good luck.
