Chlamydia, genital warts and pelvic inflammatory disease cause infertility. I'm so scared!!! HELP!!

eb - November 17

hey girls, I'm still having killer cramps. Yeah Jamie this time of month really sucks!! But we are going to be pretty close in cycles again a day or so off from each other, so at least we'll be able to wait together.

about STD's - November 17

You could go to the dr. and get a check up for STD's. I'm sure your dr. would want to rule that out and know what is going on with you so that he can help you. If you are "clear" then your dh might have to go in for a check-up, you could tell him its routine. good luck!

Jamie - November 17

Hey ladies! Just wanted to check in and say hi. Hope everyone is doing well. I think I am going to stay away from the website for a few days. Nothing against you guys but I need a little break away from thinking of babies and pregnancy. I will be back after my hsg to let you all know how it went. I am just really bummed right now, so I thought a little break from thinking about it might help! I will talk to you all next week. **hugs**

Madison - November 18

Jamie, we'll miss ya, but come back when you are ready!! :) By the way, there was a fun post about things to do besides thinking about ttc...reading, movies, journaling....etc. Talk to you soon! :)

eb - November 21

Hi all I am on day 2 of femera. And i can tell it!!! Just wanted to wish you luck tomorrow Jamie. Hope you'll read this before you go . I hope everyone has a nice holiday.

JND - November 22

Hey girls....we need to get this room moving again. Where has everyone been? Eb, good luck with femara this month. I last got AF Nov 4th, and then took first cycle of femara and the trigger shot on the 14th. I hope it worked. Do you think that I should be feeling s/s by now if it did work? Because I don't! :( When do you guys think I should test? Or should I since I don't have any s/s? How is everyone else doing?

eb - November 22

Hey JND , just haven't been in the mood to chat a lot lately. I am trying to think about the holidays and shopping. If I were you I would at least wait until you were late b/c you don't want to get upset and it just be too early.

Madison - November 22

Hey, I'm still here and checking. I've just had a crummy week since I got a bfn. I don't feel like my dr. is doing everything he can. He just gives me clomid and that's it. So I think it's time to move on from him. I've done 4 rounds of clomid and didn't ovulate the last two rounds. Something is not right, but don't know what????? JND, some people don't feel s/s till 6-8 weeks along. I'd test when you are at least 12 dpo and then at 14 dpo. I used to think I'd wait till I missed a period, but if you don't get totally bummed by bfn's then test early, then if you are pg, you'll know sooner! Good luck. And if anyone has advice or heard about why women don't o on clomid, please let me know!

eb - November 22

Hey Madison. I would recommend seeing an re. Have you and dh had routine tests. Re can go from there and may try a different drug. I am taking femera. Some people respond to it better than clomid. Look for a different dr or specialist especially if you don't feel yours is doing enough.

Anna - November 22

Hi girls! How is everyone here? eb, I hope your s/e from your Femara don't last too long! How have things been for you? Jamie, how was your hsg and how are you feeling? I hope well! JND, good luck with the Femara and shot! I agree with Madison, if you don't get too down by bfn-test early. But I read that most bfp won't show until 14 dpo, and some after that. How long do you have to go? Madison, sorry about your crummy week! :( I hope things go better for you. I think that if you feel that something's up that your md isn't paying attention to or care about, it doesn't hurt to talk to someone else. That's the way I felt about my md and I'm glad I changed doctors. The thing he was ignoring and brushing off was my pregnancy! This was before I found out I was PG. You have to listen to your body and trust what it's telling you. I hope you find someone that is better. ~~~~~ To help brighten everyone's mood, what is everyone doing for the holidays? I LOVE the holidays!!! It's my favorite time of year-literally! DH and I are spending Thanksgiving with my family. Wow, that's the day after tomorrow! It's come so fast this year. Come to think of it, this year has really flown by! Christmas is just around the corner, too! I love all the decorations, lights, Christmas trees, Nativities, wrapped gifts, red-green-white stuff every where! I just feel so happy at this time! I've started my shopping and can't wait to decorate my house the day after Thanksgiving! Anyone else or am I the only adult who turns into a five year old during the months of November and December?! Well, have a wonderful evening girls! BTW, can you girls keep my friend in prayers? She just lost her baby after carrying her for seven months. :( She's really sad! Thanks! ***baby dust***

eb - November 22

Hey anna , glad to hear from and that you are doing well. I love the holidays. I love decorating the tree and wrapping presents. I especially love buying for my 6 year old step daughter . It is always fun and I have to search for something every year. LOL!! DH will be home Thursday afternoon, so I'm eating lunch with my family and we're doing supper at his dad's. I'll say a prayer for your friend. You haven't changed your mind about finding out what the baby is?? :)

JND - November 23

Hi girls...nice to hear from all of ya!!! LOL! Madison, I would look for another MD it doesn't hurt to get a 2nd opinion. What are they waiting for? If you haven't O'ed in 2mths let that be the big clue that Clomid might not be for you. Just like Eb I am on Femara, my MD says that I responded well to the medication when he did my US. Maybe they want to give that a try? Eb, i'm trying to stay focused on Christmas shopping too but no matter how busy I stay my mind wonders. Anna, so happy to hear your doing well. Your half way throught your pregnancy now right? Happy holidays to all!!

eb - November 23

JND I know what you mean about your mind wondering. It is hard, and there will be hard times around the holidays, but i hope and pray that maybe we'll all get a little good news buy christmas :)

Jamie - November 23

Hey ladies!! I have missed talking to you... Well I had my hsg this morning. It was by far one of the most painful things that I have experienced. I cramped up so bad - on the way home I threw up several times. It was probably an hour after the procedure before I started feeling better. I was fortunate enough to have my husband be able to go in with me - that made it a little easier. The good news is that my tubes were not blocked and everything looked really healthy. So I guess we will wait and see what happens this month. The doctor said we would start clomid again next month. So how is everyone doing??

eb - November 23

Great news Jamie!! Well , I am fine. I am on day 3 of femera. Ready for thanksgiving. DH will be home sometime that afternoon for 14 days. I can't wait for the slaes Friday and to be off work for the next 5 days. Glad to hear from you Jamie.
